Today was a one-man rehearsal.

It's the darkness of the mountain recesses, where you can't even see the palm of your hand.

It's pretty frightening.

I talked with the senpai that I was working with in rehearsal. We had a secret discussion...

Around next week I might announce it, maybe I will, still...

Hmm...as for the convert to one point of view, with two and three, it comes to call out to something.

Producing the courage to advance to one isn't just "one".

Today was a day when I thought about such things.

Let's keep trying our best.

ちょっと前の涼しい日々が懐かしいですね。

暑っ！

さて、２０１１下半期もスタートして早いもんで７月ももうすぐ終わり。

早っ！！

今月はライブは少なめでしたが、色々ありました。

まずは息子の『盾矢』がついに二十歳になりました～！

もう少年Aではありません。

今は立派に早稲田の理工学部の１年生。

がんばれよ～成人大学生！！！
世界に役立つロボットを是非作ってくれよ～～！

そして、ぶれるなよ、盾矢（＾＾）y

将来が楽しみです。嬉しい事や楽しい事、色々沢山起きるだろうなぁ。

そんな楽しいワクワクもあり、
今月は
悲しい別れもありました。
たまたま友人の不幸が重なったりしました。


心からご冥福をお祈りいたします。


今年は船旅から始まり、震災があり、
なんだか妙に早く時間だけが過ぎて行くなぁ。
今年の上半期がやけに濃く感じます。

I'm longing for a few cool days after this.

It's hot!

Well, the latter half of 2011's start was fast, and now July is almost over.

That was fast!!

This year, I did a small amount of lives, for various reasons.

First of all, my son Junya (盾矢, which can be pronounced "jun-ya") finally turned 20!

Already, he's not 'shounen A'.

Today he splendidly started his first year at Waseda's science and engineering department.

Try your best, adult college student!!!
Definitely create a robot that can help the world!

And, (??), Junya.

His future will be enjoyable. Both happy things and fun things, I think he'll rise to various things a lot.

Even having such a fun excitement, in this year I also had a sad parting. Unexpectedly, my friend passed away. (guessing)

From the heart, I pray they'll be happy now.

As for this year, since the beginning of my boat trip, and then the earthquake, it's just a somewhat strangely fast time. I think the first part of this year was awfully tough.

Second half, let's go!

First there's Fuji Rock!!!!
With summer feelings, this rotation is going to have its grand opening.

From now, it'll be fun.

As for the neko manga, after the summer cut, they seem to have good feelings for evening cool.

Apparently this entire time Jr's had a son hidden right under our noses. Suffice it to say I almost fell off my chair when I translated that

I'm going to ask him about this, definitely. There's too much confusion surrounding the subject! Unless I'm totally wrong...but all my books say that 'musuko' is used to reference your own son.

And why else would the kid have the name Junya?

^ Well, first of all, he's never mentioned anything about it before. Plus he's not married, and I don't have the impression that he ever was. Well...basically, Jr just struck me as being a 'confirmed bachelor', which is how my friend put it when I mentioned him once. To have HIM be the one with a son was extremely surprising. (For me.)

I do feel a tad embarrassed for being so surprised, though

Don't get me wrong, though, I think it's great!

The cicadas' voices have multiplied. I feel like the heat has amplified them, but when a good wind blows, even their voices are a wonderful elegance.

Well, yesterday was the Fuji Rock rehearsal.

So, it's called "FUJI Blues Project", and it's wonderful.

野外フェスは楽しいぜぇ！

すっかり自然のパワーを満喫しました。

新潟が大雨というニュースでしたが、
苗場は意外と大丈夫でした。

今年はオレンジコートで三宅バンドでの出演以外に
毎朝ピラミッドガーデンにて
Sandii's Hula angelsでの出演もあったので、
３泊４日のちょっとした夏休み気分を満喫しましたぁ～～（＾＾）v


もちろんフェスも音楽好き人間として
満喫しました。

個人的には2日目のGreen Stageの『Faces』は楽しかった。
かなり前の方で機材チェックとかしながら
いい音沢山あびちゃったりなんかしちゃったりして。

楽しみながら色々忙しかった。

去年に引き続き、
Sandii's Hula Angelsは朝の１０時から
南国の『癒し』をふりまいておりました。
私はウクレレやバンジョーや太鼓とか叩いたり、歌ったり。

気持ちいいんだよねぇ～、朝の山は。

最終日はオレンジコートにて
三宅伸治バンドで『FUJI Blues Project』。

楽屋はディープだったよ～（＾＾）
個性豊かな大先輩方の会話は
お笑い以上に面白い会話のルツボです。
いちいちおかしい会話に笑いっぱなしでした。

演奏はもちろん気持ちよかった～～！！
野外特有のサウンドはベーシストにはたまりません。
ベーシストになって良かった。

人が話す言葉はその人の口から発せられる「音」が自分の耳に入り込み
見えない「感情」や「思考」に訴えかけるもの


「見えない」けどね


でも時として話した人間が伝えたい事とは真逆に伝わるものでもあるね


だから「人と会話をするのが怖い」という人が増えているような気がします


負けちゃいけない


結局は人の「心」は見えないもので　「心」という存在も見えないものだから
人と会話をする事を僕はヤメる気持ちなどはない

だって僕は超能力者ではない　人の心など100％読めないからね



例えば目上の人　親しい人　愛する人　信じている人が
他人を中傷するような言葉を発したとする
そして付け加えたとしよう


「その人を悪く言いたい訳ではない」


では何を相手は伝えようとしているのか？

聞いた側はその「中傷」に同調する事は　大きな間違いだと僕は思う


そこには「何故」その話をこの人は伝えようとしているのか？
を　感じるべきではないだろうか？

もしその相手がただただ「中傷」を口にしているのならば
「何故か」を聞いて　やはり「中傷」ならば　そんな人間とは離れたほうがいい



言葉には裏がある
その言葉だけにつき合えば　時として心を惑わされたりする

だから負けない自分自身を育てる事をヤメないように生きていく

それが「誰かがやってくれる」などという愚かな感情で世界を壊す事はないはずだ


「誰かが」


結局は誰も何もしないってことだからね



僕もこの言葉を読み返して　
自分を育てるように努力をして行きたいと思います

Translation of Jr's blog, August 1:

The outdoor festival was fun!

I completely enjoyed the power of nature.

There was news saying that Niigata had heavy rain, but surprisingly Naeba was okay.

This year, Miyake Band's performance was in the Orange Court, except every morning in the Pyramid Garden, where Sandii's Hula Angels' performance was, so for three nights and four days I enjoyed the feelings of a summer vacation.

Of course, since I'm a person who likes this festival's music, I enjoyed it all.

Personally, "Faces" on the Green Stage during day 2 was very fun. While I watched the equipment check going on completely right before me, they made a lot of great sounds.

And while I had fun, I was busy with various things.

Sandii's Hula Angels that continue to play after last year, for 10 hours from the morning (!!), scattered a "cure" for the southern countries.
I played the ukulele and the banjo and the tambourine and such, and sang too.

I felt great about it, the 'morning's mountains'.

On the last day, in the Orange Court, was Miyake Band's "FUJI Blues Project".

The green room was quite 'deep'. As for conversations with the individual and rich superiors, it's a crucible of interesting conversation that exceeds laughter. One by one, the strange conversations became funny stories.

The performance of course was great!! The sound particular to the outdoors doesn't support a bassist. But it felt good to be a bassist.

Well, here's the introduction to the performers.

It certainly would be interesting to see Jr playing the ukulele, the banjo, and the tambourine, AND singing. Especially since his singing is, uh, unfortunately awful

At any rate, I haven't finished translating Morio's blog yet. Probably because I can't understand half of what he's talking about

I think I'm going to skip Morio's blog. It was a bunch of stuff about how people don't want to converse anymore, and talk bad about people they don't know, etc. etc. But it's really very confusing
