Considering D.U., I'd say the original TTB was another song similar to Magia with simple chord progressions. But if the second movie's theme will be more light, here's hoping YK uses another old See-Saw song. They seem to work well for Kalafina nowadays.

YES PLEASE.

I think that even if the song is light-hearted, it'll have dark or bittersweet undertones. Or, it might be sad and tragic, but not necessarily dark...

^ it's odd, though - I would expect the Madoka theme to be another Latin-named song... But I guess a title like that could fit...for KnK we have 'snow falling', for Madoka we can have 'light falling', I guess

I really hope this is just a mix for the trailer and not what to expect of Magia if it's present in the movie. I almost never like remixes and I'm already expecting a recycled OST so hoping they won't add insult to injury.

I doubt they would remix Magia just for a trailer. It'll probably be used in the opening scene like in the anime.

It seems some of us will be able to see the Madoka movie in local theaters.

2012年10月6日に日本で公開される「劇場版 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ」の世界展開が決定しました。

「魔法少女まどか☆マギカ」のTVシリーズは世界各国でも高く評価されており、

今回の劇場版はアメリカ、フランス、イタリア、サンマリノ共和国、韓国、台湾、香港、シンガポールの

8カ国18都市で10月から12月にかけて上映が予定されています。

The 8 countries are The United States, France, Italy, the Republic of San Marino, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The movies are slated to air between October and December.

In commemoration, apparently they will prepare key visuals for each country. The example they provided for the United States is ... one of the usual promo picture, but with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

Good god. I just bet Singapore will be stuck with the fugly Merlion.
Any guesses for the other countries?
