@ritardando Huh. I never really paid attention to it, but I said in the other thread that I hate it when the instruments aren't toned down to support the main vocals and are instead left trying to drown out the vocal melody in a metaphorical shouting match, so maybe that's why I prefer Kalafina's songs in general.

Then again, I also reaffirm that I'm musically retarded, so I'll defer to your opinion here.

Also, I don't really think of it in turns. I guess it depends on how the song will sound and which singer would be better in that particular arrangement, and if it ends up Magia-sounding, then I'm hoping it'll be Hikaru rather than Wakana.

What I'm really hoping for is a song that has a lot of harmonies like their earlier releases. A very feminine, dark melancholy tone.

From the title itself, it may turn out to be a ballad, something like snow falling. hikarifuru doesn't give the vibe of a fast paced battle song like Magia and TTB.

I wished it would sound like somewhere between the songs from the Seventh Heaven and Red Moon album :dote:

Yes... I kind of miss the styles of music in those albums. I especially loved the songs that had a sort of "classical" sound to them, like adore. There's something I find extremely cool about that kind of music being played with modern instruments!

I too wish for something more like the songs in Red Moon and Seventh Heaven. I'm hoping for something Keiko centred, but that might not happen :( Oh well lol.

But anyways, yay for a new single :sohappy:
 
I'd expect something ballad, it's a theme song for the part where Madoka disappeared, after all. :tea:

^ with the title "light falling" wont be a tragic one for sure, but a happy one like the BGM that played when Madoka was saving all the Puella Magi on the anime.
 
"light falling" seems like a sad title to me :desksweat: Though, anythings fine. But still hoping for something tragic :innocent: Kalafina's tragic songs tends to be interesting :stars:
 
its light falling from the sky, not light falling to hell. :XD: by " light falling" they mean "Madoka-goddess falling (nor failing) from the sky to save other Puella Magi"

whenever I read "light falling" I always get an image like when an angel falls from the sky(in this case, a light or whatever it represents) , like she lost her place in heaven or something :XD:
 
Personally, I associate "light falling" with the moment when Madoka shoots her arrow into the sky and it splits into many ones, raining/flying everywhere :ayashii:

doesn't Sagitta Luminis mean "Arrow of Light", btw? :plot:
 
I really hope that Hikari Furu isn't like Sagitta Luminis. It seems like it'd be a decent soundtrack in use but it's just boring on its own - it doesn't change melodically at all throughout the whole 6 minutes of song.

Do you think it's idealistic to expect a Symposium Magarum/Decretum mix? Because that's kinda what I want.
 
True, merely rearranging Sagitta Luminis with Japanese lyrics slapped over it will be sure to bore people out. However, so would have been Seventh Heaven, had it been created merely on the bare basis of Shiki's theme. The same can be said for Storia, Snow Falling, Manten - they all used expanded structures and arrangements in addition to Kalafina vocals. :ayashii:

Then again, I can repeat that I'd welcome the song versions of Symposium Magarum, Decretum or many other PMMM tracks just as much. :shy: Although I'm not sure how it is possible to blend Symposium Magarum and Decretum into one, but hey, Yuki might know better. It's never criminal to dream. :sparkleguy: :XD:
 
But all of those had an interesting track to start with. Sagitta Luminis is just kinda... dull. Besides, Seventh Heaven is a unique song. I don't think she could repeat the quality of it, to be honest, so I'm really hoping it's not based on Sagitta Luminis.
 
We'd better be prepared that it will be a new track anyway. If remakes are due, I'm putting my hopes on the b-side, which I honestly doubt to be Magia [quattro] in all editions (if in any :XD: ). And can't they throw all three in if that's necessary?
Kalafina started out with a THREE SONG SINGLE. Without an avalanche of editions to make the whole deal look like a Pokemon generation. Where have the days of Oblivious gone? :comeback:

^That would be awesome. And I am hoping that either the title track or the other song will have a dark theme. (I also thought of Hikaru when I read it. I always think it is funny when I listen to adore when wakana sings hikaru, and then Hikaru herself sings it later. lol)
 
^ oh yeah...it's just my personal preference, but I like dark Kalafina songs better in general than their lighter ones (also prefer their ballads over their faster songs, so I'm kind of hoping it will be a ballad too...)
 
@Cerise:Yes, I hope for this tracklist too but the chances are really small... unless they include Magia quattro inside the Anime Edition CD as bonus like they had dont with Magia ~Magic Mix~ in the Magia single.

About the DVD/BD, they usually put inside only the PV and in the anime ver they might put along some video with Madoka footage with Hikari Furu playing during it.
