Here you go.

Thank you so much, elcazador! :sohappy:
Man, I sure do love the refrain. More and more. :touched: It's the merriness of HnS and Storia refrains combined. :dote:
I wish fragments of this video would make their way into the full PV, giving us a cute story-adorned video on par with Seventh Heaven. :plz:

That princess kinda looks like Hikaru

Indeed. :XD: Although most of the setting and dresses look to me like Caucasian folklore rather than Japanese one. Or is it what they aimed to depict? :ayashii:

Here you go.

Thank you, too!
Yipee, the single isn't even out yet and we have a set of lyrics. Viva karaoke in children's TV programmes! :ohoho: :sohappy:

Thank you, elcazador. This is the PV by Minna no Uta, right? There's an original PV with the girls >=]
Still don't like the instrumental of the verses -this is what I hope that changes in full version- but I love the chorus, overall with Wakana and her sweet voice, she should be the leading vocal for a song like this...

Wondering why...

Wondering why...

Dunno, maybe some costumes or something else... and a lot of animation adaptations of Caucasian folk tales were done with the use of stop motion and dolls as well, so maybe it engraved itself into my mind. :XD:

I'm actually liking this song more and more each time I listen to it〜
Especially after watching the TV version

I love the "nanana" or "lalalala" in the end.. :XD:

[edit] living in a country with Islam as the majority of religion here, although I myself am not a Moslem, moonfesta for me sounds so much like a song for Ramadan/Eid al-Fitr, that'll come in July-August (Ramadan-July, Eid al Fitr-August). Since Eid al-Fitr is "night of a thousand moons" . And this song really reminded myself with a children singing program when I was on my elementary school, named "Serunai Ramadhan" . The PV itself really looks like the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr itself.

I like this song more now too. It still kind of makes me smile and laugh a little, and it sounds like Hikaru is doing the same in the beginning. The PV is cute, makes me want to watch the show. lol I am wondering what the covers will be like? Maybe like the seventh heaven on HnS ones. :dote: Thanks elcazador.

tsuki no festa :tea:

and i thought "moonfesta" would be somewhere in the lyrics

I like this arrangement a lot, actually! :XD:

It would be nice to have more Kala songs take on this direction in future!

Me too me too!!

Me too :sohappy: :sohappy:

This is a unique song, and it's a example of the variety of the Kalafina's music!!! :blood:

Never expected Moonfesta to be so folksy/Arabic. It's a pretty nice song, but I prefer more ethereal Kalafina works....

I hope the other song will veer a bit closer to the usual Kalafina works. :)

Hmm...hearing the chorus in better quality, I actually like it, but I'm still not wild about the instrumental part and the lines. The chorus has that wonderful Kajiura-sensei feeling to it, so maybe that's why I prefer it? :@_@:

EDIT

Translated lyrics! I really like them :shy:

I've been waiting impatiently for a night with a full moon
I've been practicing my dancing in front of the mirror
Decorating my yellow dress with embroidery
Picking white flowers to put in my hair

Festival of the moon! Revolve in a ring, polka
Close your eyes, we're repeating it again
Till I reach you
I'll keep on with triumphant steps
That echo in the sound of the flute...

The clearing that glistens within the dark forest
Bursts open festival flames to the sky itself
My new shoes are lighter than feathers
So I won't step on your toes

Make a rhythm with your heels
Turn around! Match the drums
The white moon is a tambourine
Take my hand, we'll try to ring it together

Festival of the moon! Spreading out in the ring of life
Close your eyes, we're repeating it again
I'll join my hands with yours
And we'll sing loud and sway, on and on
Until dawn

Ahahaha the vid and song are so cuuute :XD: :XD: Can't wait for the full/normal version and the Kala version of a PV...hopefully it'll have a bit of plot at last :XD: :XD: :XD:

As for the singing, to me it seems to be Hikaru in the first verse, then Hikaru+Wakana main with Keiko on lower harmony for the chorus, then Wakana+Keiko(+Hikaru later?) for verse 2, then Hikaru+Keiko with Wakana canoning for chorus 2, then all three of them on the lalalalala bit...I don't hear Yuriko, though, can anyone else? :confu:
