Thanks elcazador.

lol so not all members of FJC bought it. What a harsh truth.
I guess Kalafina live DVD's market is not too big, huh... :tea:

I wonder if those are sales for DVD only or also Blu-Ray... TBH I don't think that is all horrible and bet FictionJunction DVDs sold less. Add the fact that the cover is fucking horrible and noone who isn't a fan would even pick it up..

Not sure. Some people said BD sales was also included... :confu:

Well yeah, FJ's dvd sold less. That's painfully obvious.

Well color me surprised. 1 unit more... Guess they have a regular DVD fanbase, lol.

I think they are very tired by the time they are singing 'Sprinter,' can't blame 'em...

OMG
fairytale
I listened this live ver for over 100 times :sohappy:
it is so great :nosebleed:

I've only seen Lacrimosa and Red Moon so far, but I liked those two. Although I have to admit that I had to cringe a couple of times in Lacrimosa. It seemed like they were getting tired. But it had it's good moments, like where they sang Lacrimosa slowly with the chimes in the background. And red moon is amazing. I have to listen to it again without noise in the background, but I loved it. I hope I get the dvd for Christmas, otherwise I will soon after. :sohappy:

am i the only one who likes this ver of Lacrimosa the most?
after repeat listening tons of times
overall for me my fav 3 off the disc

1) Kyrie
2) Yami no uta
3) Red Moon

which happens to be my 2nd 3rd and 4th favourite songs (no oblivious :omg: )

Finally watched the DVD. It was pretty good. After listening to the mp3 rips I expected the worse.

I think girls have done great job performing the songs. I enjoyed most of them. My favourites are Aria, Lacrimosa, Kyrie, Ongaku I even liked Progressive and Haru wa Kogane. The girls’ voices sounded just wonderful in that ballad.

Things I didn’t like were first Hikaru’s voice in some songs like in Natsu no ringo. Honestly, I think she sounded quite awful there :uh..: But she improved later. Second, some choruses sound pre-recorded. I know it was impossible for the girls to sing them themselves, but still :uh..: Third, and probably the most important to me, is the track order. I think Red Moon is not the best song to start with. They’d better have sung it in the middle of the live and start with something more rocking like Love come down or Ongaku. In this case The world was the best song for start from all Yuki-related lives, because it warms up both the audience and the band. Also, they gathered most of the “fast” songs in the 2nd part. That’s why I was quite bored watching the 1st part of the live.

Such a funny thing that Wakana started sweating from the very beginning :ohoho: That must be very annoying for her :ayashii:
And I haven’t noticed anyone playing the flute there. I guess it was pre-recorded as well :confu:
Also I just love Korenaga Koichi in Ongaku!

i noticed that too in natsu no ringo..
i was like.. "they should show the one playing the flute.." then thought it must be recorded..

Well, from what I remember from the credits, they didn't list anyone playing the flute, so it can only be recorded. Maybe it was too expensive to ask for a flutist when at least in this show they had only two or three songs with a flute in the arrangement.

I also agreed the flute is pre-recorded. It makes no sense to hire a flutist for just one or few songs, too expensive for them.

For pre-recorded chorus, I think its just the way Yuki arranged it with more than 3 chorus voices (In CDs they have Yuriko or others to do the chorus) And simply getting rid the choruses (other than the 3 girls) will sound a lot different than in CD. So to make it less strange, the only way is pre-recorded it. I think there had been discussion about this before (?). To me personally, if its not very noticeable, I'm fine with that.

Re:

Yeah... you can tell that some of choruses were prerecorded because they didn't even bother to have their mikes up while they were playing. lol I didn't realize the lack of flutes until y'all mentioned it though.

Kinda feel your pain there, it seems like I'm the only one that loved Natsu no Ringo and thought they sounded good with the 'idol-y' voices. :XD:

My favorite was easily 'Mata kaze ga tsuyoku natta', was loving the Rockstar!HikaruxKeiko combo throughout. :nosebleed:

I think fairytale was actually one of my least favorite mostly because... *hurting to say this* of Hikki's sayonaras.

But she did well in everything else so no biggie. :sohappy:
