The torrent is error while checking my file, so missing 3 files -> only 99.9%
Sorry for posting about downloading :uh..:
So... does the "99.9%" works..? I mean, can it still be played..? :confu:

About TSOM's precious contribution, erm... Could someone please zip it? Trying to DL a folder just leads to Mediafire making obvious hints about premier accounts. :uh..:

i just watched Sprinter from dvd ISO..

great performance !! :TdT:

somehow they sound different, but I like it :goodjob: . best live from them so far.

cant decide between Lacrimosa or Yami no uta for my fav live of this album =/

oh kyrie is badass too :omg:

OMG PONYTAIL KEIKO! <3 casual wear :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

i lold at keiko high note in sprinter, didnt expect that at all

I haven't watched it yet, but from the mp3 I can give some impressions about some songs:
Red Moon - Keiko was wonderful, Hikaru's part...I don't know, it seemed liked it lacked strenght.
ARIA - Please Wakana, DON'T sing the penult chorus. It's just so...bad :blood:
fairytale - favorite song live. It had so much power, especially in the kajiurago part (my favorite kajiurago from Kalafina). But Hikaru shouting "sayonara" was a bit...unfitting, to say the least.
sprinter - At the same time it seems like something is lacking, it still is good. Loved Keiko in it, again.
I'm a bit lazy right now, so I will end it here. Overall, I was pleased with the songs. Some had their arrangements enhanced quite a bit, some lost their harmony for god knows why (seriously, they took off some backs from fairytale for no reason at all). Overall, I think Keiko was the best one from the three.

hmm i thought wakana was the best, she did go a bit flat in high notes for several songs, but overall she was solid.
I thought the end of ARIA was perfectly fine =/
mainly because i dont like the voice keiko and hikaru were using for mata kaze and ongaku, its just too rough for me, no elegance at all =/

watching the doco, hikaru and keiko so childish, screaming when they were in teh bus :XD:

I just finished watching the live hours ago and... WOW! This Kalafina live is really epic for me! :nosebleed: I'm sure my cousin and my brother will love it when they'll see this. :dote:

Actually I was crying, laughing or smiling the whole time of watching the concert! XD Most of the time crying either for nostalgia and tears of joy. :sohappy:

Crying because of those nostalgic times when I first discovered and listened to the songs of Kalafina, and those early days when I'm excitingly waiting for more Kara no Kyoukai DVD releases. Oh how I missed those days indeed. And also because of the sadness of remembering that some of the singles/albums I had in lossless are in my undetectable hard drive.

Laughing because of like Hikaru's gazing (It was in Lacrimosa, 01:07:53) and their funny conversations in the MCs. Well, Hikaru's acting wasn't really bad, but that one in Lacrimosa caught me off-guard and laughing! :XD: Props to Hikaru for making me laugh!

Got no problems with this live all in all, and it definitely lifted my spirits and inspired me to become a musician again. XD

Speaking of the Hong Kong part...
LOL! The part where they were riding at the front-seat, second floor of the bus! It was truly hilarious! I thought I would even bump there as well since I was so near the monitor. :XD: Also... Watching Kalafina doing funny stuff and interacting with each other really makes watching them super fun! I wish it was that fun here. :shy:

This live has definitely given me mixed feelings all in a good way, and I wouldn't be this happy right now if it weren't for the ones who uploaded the DVD ISO! My sincerest thanks to you guys!

Really! Someday when I will be earning money of my own, I will be buying all their releases whatever is available at that time! :nosebleed: It's sad that I won't be able to have all of it since some are limited editions. ^_^'

I think that, what bothers me in Wakana singing ARIA is that her voice doesn't suit the song at all. Sure, I like her voice, but I think she has a very specific voice that works in certain kinds of songs (well, all three of them are like this). Hence, she does not have the power in her voice that the song requires. They should just let Hikaru sing the chorus and Wakana singing the last line.

Post processing hacks on the vocals aside here's my opinion on this DVD.

progressive DVD lives (Premium Live) remain my "ideal" Kalafina performances. Small venue, energy seems real, people seem into it. Not so much in this one.

The worst part is the choreography (sentai poses in Hoshi no Utai W-T-F) and theatrics (all that walking/gazing into the distance in fairytale W-T-F). Is it supposed to look "cool"? It's looking pretty miserable and out of place to me. I do not like staged concerts - go perform in a musical if you want to do that, lol. Hikaru's dramatic pose when she doesn't have anything to sing is still annoying. As is Wakana's constant blinking, lol.

On FictionJunction LIVE Vol. 4 PART2 I complained about the poor/boring stage lighting so I'm happy to say I have no complaints this time around as it's pretty exciting at times. :)

So about the actual songs.

Some surprises (songs that I really enjoyed but haven't been faves of mine before) would be:
  • I absolutely loved Kyrie in this live - Keiko's final "eleison" always sends chills down my spine.
  • fairytale is my 2nd favorite - loved the "stripped down" feel, which was only brought down by Hikaru's sayonara scream and the theatrics I mentioned earlier. Keiko's "kordiya(?)" kajiurago after Hikaru's sayonara was absolutely wonderful.
  • 3rd place would probably be fantasia
The rest is pretty standard so I liked most of the songs I liked on CD, though as I said I prefer the progressive DVD lives (Wakana's soprano in Mata kaze sounds particularly pretty bleh on this one, either cause of some effect or overlapping backing track).

Among my disappointments (songs I generally like but didn't on this DVD) would be:
  • Lacrimosa - Wakana is constantly not singing it right, lol (in this live she switched the last chorus melody for the first one).
  • Natsu no Ringo - their vocals seem really infantile and Hikaru is failing at times.
  • sprinter - oh boy - I do not enjoy Keiko in the higher range, I really hate how the "sprinter" line sounds here (no audible high part), Hikaru's "yukunda" is f*cking horrible.

And to sum it all up: lol @ DVD menu. Might edit if I remember something else.

OMG
i dunno when my torrent will be done.
but grunty u disappoint with sprinter and natsu no ringo right? those make me feel down.
specially sprinter. well it can't be help. sprinter is a song with four kalafina not three. there must be something missing.

Now that I've being able to watch it I couldn't agree more with you. What was that in fairytale? I know that, in the beginning of the song, it seemed like Keiko was thinking something among the lines of: Why I am doing this? Why am I here doing this? LOL

And watching sprinter was really sad. Come on, it may Kalafina's most energetic song to date and they were there standing with no energy at all. Only in the "kimi ni aitai..." part that it seemed that Hikaru was really enjoying what she was doing. They used all their energy in Ongaku and forgot about sprinter lol

I personally enjoyed this live a lot, even though there are things that could have been improved upon (which have already been stated by others, lol). Any mistakes made during the songs were at least not noticeable enough to me to have ruined the song, and considering that they ARE singing live, they are pretty top notch, especially if you compare them to a lot of other singers. So imo, that was pretty forgivable. In addition, the fact that they are singing in harmony makes it all the more difficult, since mistakes are much more noticeable than if they were singing by themselves. So good job to the Kalafina girls, and I'm looking forward for more from them. :)

Welp, thought I'd put in my two-cents. :hero:
