The Consolation dresses are really shimmery and beautiful in person. Hard to tell from their album cover pictures due to the sepia style coloring or even these pictures taken at ACen.

Wow, you can actually see me in the 1st photo this time! I am next to the guy standing up in the reddish-orange shirt, and you can see a bit of blue and yellow. That is me. heh (this is in the balcony in the 1st row) :dote:

@Immortal: Yes, it is the Field Museum, since that is where she said they saw the dinosaur exhibit.

何となく気合いが入る気がする
Hikaruです。

夏もそう遠くはないのだと感じる今日この頃、
皆さん如何お過ごしでしょうか。


街には
いろんな人が居て
日々いろんなことが起きている
と思うのです。

子どもを後ろに乗せた自転車を支えて
交差点で信号待ちをしている母親がいました。
子どもをあやす瞳は
母性と幸せの溢れる色に感じました。

地下鉄のホームで並んでいる
パリッとしたスーツを着た男性がいました。
鞄と靴底の表情から
日々の労の色を感じました。

バス停のベンチに座る老夫婦がいました。
他愛ない話に笑い合って
バスが来ると仲良く乗り込むふたりから
深くあたたかな繋がりの色を感じました。

この他にも
たくさんの気持ちや表情が
溢れていて、
こんなふうに
１人ひとりが毎日に色をつけて
カラフルな世界を
作っているんだなぁ
と改めて思う日がありました。


そして、
もう１つ最近の事。

看板の文字が
何か木や建物等に被って
一文字ともう半分が
見えないときの
モヤモヤ感が
半端ないムズムズを呼びました。

…ウズウズ。

どうしても
その文字が見たくなって
何とか見ようと
顔の角度を変えてみたりして
それでも見えなくて
体の角度を変えてみたりして…。

…あっ！み、見えたー!!
(※実際は叫びません。あくまで心の声です。)

見えた時には
スッキリ感と
謎の"見てやった感"を味わえる！笑

こういう経験って
皆さんありませんか？

最近飲んでるもの。

i wanted to try and post some translations with the help of my friends, lol, so i chose this as a test run blog. they did most of the translations (they'll be known as O and H), while i edited it to make it run smoother. if you guys like it or have any suggestions on how to improve the read, please tell me and i'll relay it!

Everyone, good evening,
From Wednesday to Thursday,
Thursday to Monday
And Monday to Friday,
Somehow, I feel really fired up
Hikaru here.

Nowadays, it really feels like summer.
Everyone, how are you getting along?

Here in town, I think that various people are away.
And every day, a lot of things occur.

At an intersection with a traffic signal, there was a mother supporting her child who was riding a bike from behind.
From the child’s comforting eyes, I felt the full color of motherhood and happiness.

While standing in a line at the subway, I noticed that there was a man who was wearing a crisp* suit.
From the look** of his suitcase and the sole of his shoe, I felt the colors of his daily labor.

At a bus stop, I saw an elderly couple sitting.
They were laughing at their silly and trivial conversation.***
When the bus arrived, they got on. As they did, I felt the colors of their deep and warm bonds.

In addition to these feelings, among other expressions which overflow in this way, every single person everyday with their colors join this colorful world to make it what it is.****
And again, a day in which I can think.

And,
One last thing.

The words of the billboard are something which are covered by the building and trees and such.
When you cannot see a character and a half, a hazy feeling of itchiness***** arises.

… I’m sorely tempted.

By all means, I want to see those characters. So I'll try to look by changing the position of my face. If by then I can’t see it, I’ll change the position of my body.

...Ah! I see it!
(※I didn’t say this out loud; this was only the voice of my heart.)

When I saw it, I felt refreshed and had a taste of the “I could see it!” mystery. (lol)

Won’t everyone write about their experiences?

Lastly,
I've been drinking this recently.

It must be tricky to translate Hikarus poetic posts :ayashii:
 
oh my gosh, it really was :uh..: i chose hikaru's latest one because 1. it was recent and 2. it was rather short in length...

but the shortest route isn't always the easiest orz :blood: but i haven't really seen a lot of stuff from hikaru translated (probably because she doesn't blog/talk compared to keiko and wakana, haha) so seeing something vaguely poetic from her is really pleasing, somehow. too bad translations lose so much in meaning and impact </3 :rain:
 
Wow thanks so much for the translation IB & Co! That was interesting. Maybe Hikaru was thinking of studying sociology in case she wasnt becoming a singer :XD:
 
who knows, anything is possible for The Hikaru if she sets her mind to it :ohoho: :cheer:

(although i do seem to remember that in a past interview, hikaru said that she was considering going into law :nophoto: so impressive...)
