シカゴで無事、ライブも終えて少しホッとしています。

今回初めてバンドメンバーさんと一緒に海外でライブステージに立てた事が本当にスペシャルで、色んな方に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
リハーサルの時に、日本と同じようにサウンドチェックの音が控え室に響いてきた時、ぶわぁって嬉しさが込み上げてきちゃいました。
ライブ本番でも、演奏のソロの時の盛り上がりや歓声…私もお客様と同じような気持ちになって高まってましたよ♪ヽ(´▽｀)/
本当に最高！
改めて、ギターの是永巧一さん♪ドラムの佐藤強一さん♪ベースの高橋“Jr.”知治さん♪ピアノの櫻田泰啓さん♪マニピュレーターの大平佳男さん♪
ありがとうございました!!

ライブ後のサイン会でバンドメンバーさんのサインを欲しがっているお客様がいましたよ!流石です!
大先輩のミュージシャンに囲まれてKalafina幸せです!


初めてのシカゴで少し緊張していましたが、ライブが始まってみるとお客様の目をしっかりみて歌を届けたい!!って強く思い、あっという間に16曲歌いました!!つたない英語のMCにも温かく答えてくれたり、なりやまない拍手を送ってくださったり、目頭が何度も熱くなりました。
ライブ会場に足を運んで下さった皆さん、音楽の魔法にかかってくれたかな(*´∇｀*)?
本当にありがとうございました。

そして、日本から駆けつけて下さった皆さんも、遠い遠征ありがとうございました。



さて、ライブ以外のお話もしたいな…

少しだけ…

着いたらまずは、今回のライブ会場の"Rosemont Theatre"に会場視察に行ってきました。

会場はとってもゴージャスなんです!会場入り口がこんなかんじ!

その後、少しだけダウンタウンの方にも行ってきました!!

ショッピング街のマグニフェセントマイルという場所をお散歩～
色鮮やかなチューリップが通り全体を華やかに彩っていて、歩いているだけでHAPPYに♪

最終日に撮影もかねてまたダウンタウンに行くので、もっとたくさん写真とってくるね(*´∇｀*)

最後に～ライブ終了打ち上げで食べたリブステーキ!!

物凄い大きさでびっくりしたけど、あまりのホロホロお肉の柔らかさ、美味しさに、ペロッとみんなで完食しました(笑)

Having ended the live in Chicago without a hitch, I’m a little relieved.

The live this time was very special as this was the first time standing on stage with all the band members in an overseas live, and I’m very thankful to many people.
During the rehearsal, the noise from the sound-check echoed in the waiting room just like in Japan, and I was filled with happiness.
Also, during the live, the enthusiastic cheers during the solos... I got pumped up with the audience too ♪ヽ(´▽｀)/ It was really the best!
Again, Korenaga Kouichi-san on guitar♪ Satou Kyouichi-san on drums♪ Takahashi “Jr” Tomoharu-san on bass♪ Sakurada Hirotaka-san on piano♪ Oohira Yoshio-san on manipulator♪
Thank you so much!!

During the signing event after the live, there were people who wanted signatures from the band members! As expected!
To be surrounded by such great musicians, as Kalafina we are truly happy.

As it’s our first time in Chicago, we were a little nervous but as the live started, I felt strongly that I wanted to look the audience in the eye and deliver our music!! And in a blink of an eye, we sang 16 songs!! Despite our shoddy English during the MCs you guys responded warmly, and ceaselessly clapped for us, I felt teary countless times (TN: literally “The inner corner of my eyes felt hot”).
Could it be the work of music’s magic from all those who came to the live (*´∇｀*)?
Thank you so much.

And to those who came all the way from Japan, thank you for coming this distance.


Well then, I kinda wanna talk a little about things besides the live...

Just a little...

When we arrived, we first took a look around “Rosemont Theatre”, the live venue.

The venue is gorgeous! The entrance of the venue looked like this!

Chandelier!! Enormous!! As expected of something American-sized!!

After that, we went downtown just for a little while!!

We took a walk down a shopping street called Magnificent Mile~
Vivid coloured tulips painted the entire street gorgeously, just walking down (the street) made me happy♪

We’ll be going downtown again on the last day for photo-taking, so we’ll be taking lots of photos (*´∇｀*)

And lastly~ to end off the live we had rib steak!!

I was surprised at how huge it was, but with its mouth-watering tenderness and deliciousness, we finished it together with our tongues sticking out (laughs)

That's one gigantic steak! :XD: For a second I thought it was some kind of fish.

Love how their outfits seem like a set. Hikaru in yellow, Keiko in blue, Wakana in a combination of yellow and blue. Did they plan this, or have they developed innate synchronization after all their performance/PV outfits?

... is that really a steak? looks more like a gigantic slab of ribs omg how did she eat all of that (or did they share it)

It sounds like they finished it together, though I don't know if they ate the one steak... or if they each finished a steak?! :omg: For what it's worth, 30% was probably bone. Still...
 
somehow i don't think that that single steak is enough to fill all three of them (because like you said probably 30% of it was bone)

... but some part of me refuses to believe they could eat a whole one each :uh..: ... but then again american-styled food is extremely heavy...

サイン会やパネルディスカッションといった
海外のアニメコンベンションならではのイベントも
なかなか直接触れ合えない皆さんと
近い距離でお顔を拝見したりお話したり出来て
とても面白く、幸せな時間でした。

今回、シカゴでも
Kalafi輪を広げようという思いで
張り切って臨みましたが、
シカゴの皆さんのあたたかさに
逆に感動を頂くばかりでした。
だから、またシカゴに戻って
今回頂いたものをお返ししなくては…!
と思っています。
それまで
Kalafinaの音楽をしっかり奏で続けて
パワーを蓄えておかねば…!

日本に帰ってきたKalafinaは
今度は全国ツアーに向けて
チーム全員一丸となって
歩みを進めたいと思います♪
