Actually that was @Hayden Kurosaki a few pages ago who was getting all Taylor Swift on us. But we're past that now.

Meanwhile you used a term that is considered derogatory by some people and instead of apologizing you just proceed to brush it off like it's no big deal. I'm not even surprised by this coming from you. I'm just alarmed about the management of this forum and how they're doing absolutely nothing to police such behaviors, when grunty's "ofkme" caused him to suffer such horrifying consequences as a warning.

The quality of Kalafina's singles have decreased tremendously. I am not sure if it's because Kajiura is more open to experimentation, which probably is not it because some of her greatest work happen to be nothing like her previous work. However, although the BGM for Kantankatan is great, I believe Wakana and Hikaru's voices were strained and Keiko's lines to be extremely uninspired. Tombo, I believe is just a hot mess. Hyakka Ryouran is the saving grace of the single despite it's obvious flaws. I stand by my previous opinion of Keiko's first verse being the only part of the song worth listening. This is due to the difference in arrangement between it and other works of Kajiura. I found a similar between it, and Keiko's verse in Toki no Mukou, and her final line in marchen. Kajiura needs to expand on this instead of reverting to her usual, repetitive fashion.
 
I actually am starting to like KANTANKATAN. After reading the translations an understanding that KATAN KATAN is an onomatopoeia for clank-clank, the song paints a sepia toned visual for me, perhaps in the 1800s when railroads were first constructed and utilized. It really gives me a nostalgic feeling, almost that of a girl who lives on a field by the train tracks and she's dreaming of expanding her horizons. The constant onomatopoeia throughout the song gives it a great artistic thrust. I especially like that the chorus doesn't start until after the second time the song repeats itself. At first what I thought was the chorus turned out to be the prechorus. Definitely getting a never ending theme from this song. Love it.
