i hope they make a new addition for the main game in 3ds (maybe not)
though am looking forward to the remake of FFVI
the two crystal chronicle's for ds is a bit meh :omg:
the chocobo chronicle's cute but still...
and the original game the four heroes of light SUCKS

And of FFV, too! :shy: with designs based on the sprites, please. :plot:

On DS, there's also the sequel to FFXII which is a basic but still pretty enjoyable real-time-tactics game. :ayashii:
 
I don't want square to remake VI and IX... I have this ominous feeling of failure every time I hear that square decide on a remake.
 
Even if they fail, there's always the original to keep enjoying. :sparkleguy:
Besides, the DS remakes of III and IV were quite decent. They upgraded the Job System in III, adding the improvements it got throughout its evolution, and IV has voice-overs and a lot of dialogue they originally couldn't fit. :ayashii:

In other news, I've finally managed to abolish the Random rule in Dollet. :sohappy: About to finish the Card Queen's quest, but I have a bit of trouble winning Doomtrain back from her son... is it just SO random, or did I actually make a slip by sending her to Deling City instead of Dollet? I wonder... :confu:
 
me enjoyed playing the remake of the IV because of the onscreen map
and no need to use libra all the time
i really hated the dungeons when ure already down the red bar and monsters kept on appearing

also liked the inclusion of the abilities like auto-potion, etc. but the best would be he special abilities of the twins... i remembered using that ability twice on lich, and the luckily, resulted to meteorites :XD: :XD:
 
The Final Fantasy 13-2 OST has been out few a few days now. I've only listened to a few songs, but i loved what I've listened to (except Crazy Chocobo).

Oh, and apparently KOKIA is credited as a vocalist. I know she sings Noel's theme, but i don't know if she sings anything else.
 
i checked out some random final fantasy ost and
somehow, yuriko kaida was credited in it...
but i don't know which of the songs from the 3-4 disc she's included...
 
AFAIK KOKIA only sang Noel's Theme (both versions). ORIGA also sang quite a few songs (with New Bodhum being the best, wonderful song). But Yuriko Kaida...sorry but I really don't think she participated in it. The singers I've seen been credited for were: Aimee Blackschleger, ORIGA, KOKIA, Joelle, Michiyo Honda, Shootie HG (¬¬) and Frances Maya.

I've listened to most of the songs from the OST by now. Some songs I really like (most of them vocal ones), some songs are ... nice and others lack something.
 
^ Coincidentally, Yuriko did tweet a link to official information on some Final Fantasy OST, but I didn't translate what she said. I think I will, just to see if she really did participate in some way... :ayashii:

Ahhhh, FF Type 0, I thought you were talking about XIII-2, since it has 4 OST Discs (while Type 0 doesn't have).

Thing is her name is in "Performed by", and i doubt they would credit a lyrics writer in that part.
I'm going to listen to the OST, and I'll update you guys if i find the song, mmkay~

Edit: Weird thing, the booklet doesn't mention Yuriko at all. And the only vocals in the OST are from the choir.

or maybe she's somewhere in the background...
the song have lower harmony...
 
I think Joel's right, and she's probably doing lower harmony or something. The main vocal doesn't sound even remotely like her voice, but I think I can hear her vibrato in the background sometimes... :ayashii:

That song is ludicrously catchy :cheer:

EDIT

In the bridge, with "shiawase kanjite" and all that, the singer sounds much more like Yuriko - I can hear her vibrato clearly on the ends of the notes. Maybe she's disguising her voice?
 
^ If it's true, that'll be basically the first time we know of where Yuriko disguises her voice, right? :ayashii:
