Final Fantasy character art... :nosebleed:

@Nick: Oh! Thanks for the advise! I'll try that :dote:
FF8 is good. But I don't really like the materia system and the Chocobo. But I love Triple Triad! I even download the program for PC (a very very long time ago....) :dote:

BTW, I play FF in this order: FF7->FF8->FF9->FF10->FF10-2->FF6->FF12->FF7CC->FF1->FF2->FF3->FF13(inmydream)
Well, i think this is the order. I'm still trying to beat FF3. Then continue with FF2 & 1. I hope they stop releasing old FF in ipod or PSP so that I can beat them all first! :XD: BUT! if they're planning to release FF7 on iphone I TOTALLY APPROVE! :goodjob:

@Special_K: That picture is beautiful~ :nosebleed: I want to play it

FF8 is good. But I don't really like the materia system and the Chocobo.

Wait, materia? It was in FF7, did you mean to say "Junction system"?
I was confused at first, but it's grown up on me significantly. I don't remember any other FF to play like this. Leveling up is not recommended until late in the game, enemies stay at the same level with the player. Some of learnt abilities like Enc-None and Mad Rush are really useful. And because of magic system, I opt not to use my stock (Juntion stats work best when the attached spell is maxed up to 100), but draw magic out of enemies. Some fights last quite a while because of my greediness. :ohoho:
Limit breaks are also useful. Selphy's is a shout-out to Setzer's slot machine from FF6, but you can repeatedly reload it until the needed effect shows up (like Fullcure, in my case :psst: ).
Triple Triad is interesting and actually useful, too (unlike in FF9 :uh..: ), but managing the rules can be a pain in the neck. I spent a load of time in Dollet trying to abolish Random rule, and never succeeded. And now this freakin' rule has followed me to Galbadia Garden like flu. :blood:

BTW, I play FF in this order: FF7->FF8->FF9->FF10->FF10-2->FF6->FF12->FF7CC->FF1->FF2->FF3->FF13(inmydream)

So you're still missing out on FF4 and FF5. :ayashii: I especially recommend the latter - the plot is not as complex as in other installments, but the Job System (which first appeared in FF3) is marvelous.

Final Fantasy character art...

I want a PS3 now! :wai: :ohoho:

I frequently find gorgeous art of, uh... ...Sakuya and the Youmu chick? So they're my favourites.

Ah, indeed. :ayashii:
And I must admit I took a liking to Orin after this naughty and black-humoured video. She looks so affably evil. :plot: :XD:

(there's also the full version, with fanart footage).

LOL, if we go on like this, we'll need to make a separate topic :XD:

^ woops! my head is full of FF7... :XD:

Don't remember much about FF8 (i only play it once) but I know I love it :XD: Ultimecia is kind of cool~ maybe because of the tattoo on her face :XD:
I don't use my magic stock either until it get full :P

My brother taught me about Triple Triad back then. He's good. Unlike me :uh..:

Yeah... still missing FF4 & 5... :uh..: And I don't play 11 :XD:

My brother taught me about Triple Triad back then. He's good. Unlike me

I'm not too good either. But emulators have a shameless little thing called "quicksaves". :psst: Yeah, I'm so unforgivable... :TdT:

And I don't play 11

which should have been called Final Fantasy Online. Same going for FF14 :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife:

^ Hahaha! That's why I don't play it. Because my computer don't like it :XD: Although I really2 want to play the game! It's all because of the trailers.... :uh..:

I will never play another Final Fantasy after the atrocity that was XIII. I mean, XII was bad enough, but my GOD...

:voodoo:

I like FFXII, but I agree about FFXIII. And most probably XIII-2 is going to be mere bullshit.

Well... i don't like X... and then there's X-2.... I wonder if they're releasing a sequel based on popularity?
bad review/feedback = sequel :XD:

I heard about XIII. But i don't want to judge before play it myself :plot: (which again.. i wonder when.... :uh..: )

FFX was a huge hit in Japan, so they released X-2. That's not reaaaaaaaaaaly the case with XIII, though.

While I don't play the games any more (not until they get rid of Square Enix and bring back Squaresoft :tea:), you can't deny that FF has great character designs, though.

/me nosebleeds at Lightning again.

:nophoto:

Uh, I don't like Light's design (not the FFXIII one, the XIII-2 is awesome). The blend of spiky and curly hair is a bit strange, and the outfit itself is quite normal. And I'm getting tired of Nomura's designs already.

And I don't think Light is beautiful (but maybe that's because I'm tired of the plastic face of the CGs with no cheeks and such). If there's a design I have to bow for, that's Yuna's. Oh god, that's just so marvelous I can cry.

Freya's name says it all. After making an antropomorphic RAT this charming, I doubt Nomura can leap any higher. :ohoho:

If there's a design I have to bow for, that's Yuna's.

Gotta agree, even though at first sight I had an impression that she was kinda ripped off of Rinoa's design. /*wacked* :XD:

All the Final Fantasies have got their share of love and hate, and I'm personally alright with the latest parts in advance. I want to play the in any case. Although I'm miffed at the fact that FF10 disposed of ATB system. :knife:

Rinoa's design is also quite good, although that blue thing near her waist is...strange, to say the least.

play it myself

It's a movie. A movie with quicktime events. Basically. You can push "up" on your controller while mashing A or X and you will be able to finish the game with top ratings.

I liked FFX!Rikku. ...And I actually loved Tidus's design, u-uh... :uh..:

Meh.....Advent Children's Tifa takes the cake for me. :XD:

At least cosplay-wise.... :psst:

:nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

Oh really? :XD: Since i don't like FFX so i'm a bit disappointed when they're realeasing X-2 :XD:

^ that cosplay is :nosebleed:

Yeah, I heard it's pretty linear in comparison to previous games. Then again, the battle system has gone closer to the lines of Tales series and I can't but approve of it. :sohappy: TBH, Paradigm Shift is the main thing I want to play the game for (with manual paradigm setting, preferably).
I do have bigger expectations for FF15, ever since it was rumoured that Square Enix considered making it a fantasy story, maybe even closer to FF9 in style. :stars: It's really been a while since the series got away from explicit sci-fi settings (I don't count FF12, since it used an existing universe of FFT rather than creating its own).

Meh.....Advent Children's Tifa takes the cake for me.

True. :dote: Although I still like Yuffie more. :XD:
And I liked Advent Children despite its plot being a bit confusing even after beating the game. The whole thing was created for visual coolness alone, and it actually worked. Something tells me that if Spirits Within had been like that, it could have been a better success in theatres... (and Sakaguchi wouldn't have to leave Squaresoft) :leaf:
