It makes me feel as if she COULDN'T do it the usual way (which might be a possibility), and that kinda bothers me :/.
 
OMG KnGnN is my favorite Kala song! I'm so excited! I have to buy this somehow now... I also love christmas songs so this is a win for me. I haven't been this excited for a Kala release in forever! I liked the Sprinter strings version, sure, Wakana sounded super strained in the Kajiurago, but Sprinter is a song written for 4 vocalists, and they can barely keep up as 3, it's always been this way. I think Kajiura should've picked something else for this, but at least it's not heavenly blue...
 
I'm a little disappointed about setlist. I expect something more. But I'm happy because of KNGN, Alleluia - it would be nice to hear it in another arrangement. I wonder what about Marchen - when they want to release it? And what with into the world?
 
so apparently there's a CM for this upcoming winter acoustic with 04secs sample of each sprinter, from heaven above, and have yourself a merry little christmas. sprinter was played on the "kimi ni aitai" part, judging by the sound of it from heaven above was edited with echo-ing effect, and I can't say anything about hyamlc. the poster on tumblr was so excited about it and say that they're freaking gorgeous but my reaction was lmfao what's so exciting of 12 secs CM... i mean kalastans always say "we can't judge anything based on a short sample" when people say shit about them based on a sample (that is much longer than this CM) but kalastans can barely contain themselves over 12 secs CM... double-standard everywhere.

wow wakana sounded really bad in the sprinter part (imo) lol
i'm glad i didn't jump ahead of myself and preorder this…

I miss that too actually, it's part of what makes acoustic versions so great. The 5th Anniversary version had a lot more emotional power than the new one; even though I'll probably listen to this one more because it doesn't bring down my mood as much.
 
Wow now I'm revisiting the 5th Anniv. collection. heh I do like that sprinter better, but I sort of liked Hikaru in the beginning of the new one, but then it got out of hand a little. I think maybe Keiko went a little too high on her "honto ga" or maybe it's just me.

Anyways... saw the CM. So it will be a little different on the CD? Since it's going to be a recorded version, not from the live. Hmm. Alleluia will be pretty, but with no strings? Looking forward to this, I usually hate Christmas music (aside from the traditional songs) but I think I will like Kala's versions. heh And a new song? Awesome!
 
I listened to sprinter from new album. Beginning is a little weird. But the rest is so beautiful, this strings. It's really moving version of this song. I think that a much more better than version from 5th anniversary album :love:
 
I found a snippet of "From Heaven Above" in the audio section of the Kaijura VK today you need an account to listen unfortunately. It's only a minute but that minute is in full english, with glorious harmony.
 
listened to it and I love Keiko's harmony, she sounds wonderful and bold. Wakana sounds so thin as usual. They also have a somewhat better quality of Marchen than George's rip.
 
Weird how an acoustic album has such an overproduced track. Sounds wonderful though. The harmonies make the girls sound like an angelic choir. Love the arrangement. I just wish there wasn't that much echo in their voices. Should've been left raw.
 
The commercial dropped.

It has some photos from last year's concerts along with excerpts from:
- Sprinter (a different part that wasn't in Kalafina Club, I think it's the bridge but my knowledge in music terms is lacking)
- From Heaven Above (the same excerpt we've already heard)
- Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (which is sung in English (at least that part is!!)



I'm never going to recover from that perfect pronunciation from Hikaru, it just sounds SOOO nice
 
that's the CM I've talked about before, with 3 or 4 secs sample of each song lol
