Jeez. Sunrise is running this schlock in the same season as Build Fighters and G-Reco and giving it two seasons?

Well, at least we're probably getting two OST releases out of it. Hopefully they get standalone release instead of being bundled with the BDs.

Hopefully, at least in that case there would be some chance of me getting it (if I like what I hear on the show when OST2 is announced). No way in hell if it's bundled with BDs. :p

I am totally impressed by the soundtrack for Cross Ange. Especially considering my very low expectations after the two promos. Mizuki's song also seems promising. So far so good.

I think I'd actually recommend it for old Kajiura fans. The way the music keeps playing and is overpowering the action is kind of reminiscent of Kajiura's earlier shows. Actually it was the raw I watched, I think.

Unfortunately the soundtrack is bundled with the DVDs. First one in December.

I liked the soundtrack, it has the well-known Shikata style.

Mizuki's song sounds very good too, especially when its acapella (the music others make for her usually ruins her songs)

What did that women did to the princess ? Did she pierced her virgin hymen ?

Wow that's fast, considering that Kajiura's OSTs bundled with BDs are delaying around 6 month compared to when the show starts airing.

Well, the 3rd episode had everything I was afraid this OST would be. It sucked donkey balls and made no flippin sense.

It doesn't really seem any worse than the first two episodes? It had 100% less rape so actually it's probably a net improvement. Did you mean the sound balancing/direction or something? It felt like the sound effects and VA were overpowering the music a lot more this time around.

The only BGM that really caught my ear this time was the track during the first part of the rematch with the big dragon because that track was EXEC_PURGER as hell.
 
I didn't think this about the music in episode 1 but I just hate how empty and thin almost everything sounds in this one - trailer2 music after the OP being the biggest offender. Add to that how unremarkably just about everything sounds and how ridiculously does not match the action. Maybe it sounds better on CD, but I'm not known for being an optimist...

The insert song from episode 1 is track#2 (or at least that was the song's title). Thankfully the cover isn't porn so one of my import woes is gone but I'm still debating wether I actually want to import it or not since I'm not impressed with the music at this moment.
 
^really? I haven't been following the show just for the music but it was quite promising at first. I'll wait for the ost anyway.
 
^ I am watching all the episodes but stopped following the music after a while, I guess that means that the music isnt outstanding ?

My guess it that at least half OST will be good since it was in the first 3 episodes that we liked
 
no I meant that I am not watching it at all. but yes first three episodes had tons of good music so it'll be good at least.
 
on today's episode (8): some spanish-y musics with guitar, and a fast vocal one from the funny ones, cool violin/strings/e.guitar bgm near the end
