Nishizono is the perfect example of the red herrings they keep throwing. I won't spoil who the real culprit is (even though it's painfully obvious) lol esp from all the musical cues/focuses ….. but anywho. and yeah the chocolate bar divorce was stupid.

I havent red all thats out so far but from so far the past crime and the modern one seem to e unrelated, so the culpit probably isnt the same as well

Nishizono for modern and kayo's mother and her bf for at least tbe kayo part

lol you are making it more than what it really is, which proves my point about the red herrings. I've not read the manga either, but
I'm pretty sure there is only one culprit and if you don't know who it is at this point just wait and see.
Though, it's obvious that the culprits are the same since
Satoru's mother was killed because she realized the who the killer of the past crime(s) is

Was I the only one disappointed when what's his face (god im bad at remembering anime names) was sent back to the present again? It felt like a kick in the gut not only because I had gotten so attached to that part of the story, but all of what's his face's work went to nothing, so it felt like a waste of time. :wai:

I know that but Nishizono is obviously the same as the one who exited his house after killing the mother (and also the one who was doing the child kiddnapping at the supermarket parking, and was spying on them)

According to you,
Nishizono is the original killer then. Which kind of makes sense I guess since their voices are the same. The seiyuu listed on the credit is different but no one has ever heard of him tbh.
But anyway my conclusion still stands about the culprits being one and the same. lol.

Yeah, that was kind of sudden. I thought he was going to stay in the past for awhile longer. True he did not prevent Kayo's death, but it did change some things, which I thought was interesting. I have not read the manga, but it seems to be pretty much the same?

Also ep 4's music was awesome! I am really liking the music, when there is music!

I've not read any spoilers, but if the cultprits were not the same (or the crimes were unrelated) then why would he have a revival to his past and at that time. That would be just too random and cheap.

I've started reading it and I've reached the point when he went back in time in his elementary days. Nothing much different, but there were differences in detail, of course :) But essentially they are still very similar to one another.

Guess what comes next :)

PS: Just found out something: Check Kayo mom's lover (1:11 on ep 5) and Nishizono (14:52 ep 5). Appearance aside they have similar voice.

Ep 6 was just as weak as the last one...

If you want to talk about voices, Nishizono and
Yashiro-Sensei
have the same voice…. the mom's BF is irrelevant. Good to see the timeline going to change again, I honestly cannot stand seeing the salty manager dude lmao. The plot is suddenly not as mysterious as I'd like it to be, but I'll continue since I already watched so many episodes. I find it funny how blatantly obvious they're making everything though (aside from the focus on you-know-who)... or was it intentional. wwwww

Yeah, I know the name is different because I said on my post before. That person doesn't exist or if he does, he is really good at imitating ____'s voice then lol but it's probably the former. The different name is obviously to prevent spoilers. And well, if you listen closely they sound a hell of a lot like the same person (and much more so than the mom's BF).

^Agreed, though it still is focusing on Satoru and Airi of course.

And yeah, I dislike the manager a lot too. "I'm taking credit for rescuing her" sheesh. I wanted to leave him in the fire. (Sorry if that sounds cruel...) He really needs to go away though. I am still liking the music, but there needs to be a little more of it. The piano in the beginning was really pretty. So more like that. It's beginning to be like SAO with the sound direction a little bit, not quite as bad but I think they are focusing more on the sfx tracks. *sigh*

I actually think this show has done a much better job of balancing plain sfx tracks with low-key, atmospheric pieces. In fact, these last few episodes felt like they had more actual music imo.

@Liana_Ilia the "im taking the credit" was so that the police doesnt spot Satoru. Anyway this is a weird change of character for him. From a police spy he turned into savior and supporter ? That punch must have damaged his brain function XD

@sora: Yes most sfx tracks in this have some music in them too, and that makes them more interesting.

And the Blu-ray Part one that the ost is included is up on CDJ. Holy crap. $157! That is ridiculous. I mean, F/Z limited wasn't even that much. (Yes, I still paid that, but I had a job then.) I hope somebody somewhere gets it so that we can get the ost. *sigh* I really wanted it too. One day maybe.
