^That would actually combine all our ideas into one then, that's great! (As long as I am not the one to put it all together again. :spotlight: ) I am hoping it turns out great this year.

^ Dont worry I will do it instead from the begining this time if we need to do it again. The reason why I had entrusted it to you last year was because i thuoght there was need of some special program that you knew how to use, but it didnt turned out like that at the end :XD:

Eh, I think combining everything is a bad idea.
The point of the physical picture book was to give inspiration to Kajiura. She said before that she reads/watches picture books for inspiration. Adding music or moving pictures would probably kill it.

@george: I am sorry, I really wanted it to still turn out well. :rain:

yeah, now that I think about it, it may be too overwhelming for her. She may not have time to go through all of the covers and other things. I still like the landscape idea best so far.

The landscape book sounds nice. Maybe we could add in some pictures showing our culture like festivals etc. I bet Yuki would be more inspired :)

That sounds good. Maybe we could also include some info about traditional music from our countries.

So basically each chapter of the book contains pictures of different landscapes per country that are taken by us, or maybe we can use other works provided that we give the proper reference, along with some information on traditional music that are found (graphic info on these, such as traditional music instruments, maybe included in the landscape pictures).

I can imagine the title of this book...
Tierra et symphonia: Drawing inspiration of music from the earth.
*yeah i'm really not good at this, can anyone rephrase this?*

I quite like this title, actually :XD:

Well, I thought a while about it and also came to the conclusion that too many different ideas in one gift would be too much :uh..:
So I'd join in the landscape idea :ohoho: But if it's going to be the picture book, we should start making photographs now so that we can show our country in different seasons. Unless some of us already have a lot of pictures of their country... but I don't :XD: And I also think it would be the best to take the pictures by ourselves and not to copy them from somewhere... that's less personal, isn't it?

Right. I was thinking the same. You can also dig pictures from the ones your family has taken in the past, but its best they are not from the internet (because this makes things way too easy, and lowers the value of the present as a whole)

Ah, when its about a multilanguage cover, we dont have to make others sing our language. Each of us can translate a line or two, or verse (depends on how much of us would paticipate in this) on our language and sing it her/himself :confu:

It has come to my mind now but have you guys ever thought about writing a kaijurago song using the kajiurago words used by Yuki until now
I quite like this idea.

Another idea crossed my mind. If we could ask arq-san to lend us some of his kajiurago translations, and if someone else has an inspiration to translate to put it in gift too. Like showing Kajiura-sama how fans imagine her kajiurago songs.. :ayashii:

Where are these translations *-* I had tried translating them too :spotlight: Yet I stuck in after some extent :leaf: I'd really glad to write and sing a kajiurago song with you guys :sohappy:

Im all over this idea! :sohappy:
Very unique, similar to the last gift but then again different and refreshing. And for it to be an actual physical book is even better! :sparkleguy:
And extraordinary outstanding title, Chris-san! :plz:
It domains or that or video greeting and other stuff mixed in combination :sohappy:

It depends which ideas we combine and how we arrange them :sparkleguy:
As for pics, I was thinking that too, our personal pics, thats better than the internet. Only if you want to show a pic of a region you havent been to so you ask friends if they did or look on the internet. I hope Ill manage to find as many of mine as I can :sohappy: :sohappy:

Wooow, this is so great!! :sohappy: :sohappy:

I do have some scenery photos...rainbow and clouds are my subjects....probably it will be useful :dote:

That might be problematic for some. Not everyone can travel, has a good camera, can take good pics, etc.

For example, I live in Mexico but also near the border to the U.S.A., so my state is very neutral on Mexican culture.

sorry for always come late
and soooo many ideas came at the first, but now i am in landscape book too! :shy: :shy:
i love taking photos with unmoved object :XD:

mmmm... wait. we are into "scenery-landscape-etc of each country" photos or "traditional things of each country" photos? or both? :waii:
and Chrisgarci-san's title is great :nosebleed:

i think about Cerise-san's and Casarina-san's and others' stories and some stories about PV... how about them?
(Kajiura-san may face palm when she reads Cerise-san's stories about Kalafina's lovey-dovey)]

i can draw too (but not as great as zuiyon-san, at least my biggest talent is drawing XD) and i can write (though my english isn't that good and my imagination is so-so), and though i can't check this forum often, but i'll take part in this project as hard as i can
(and this is my first year! i am both excited and worried XD)

if you can't travel, taking photos about tree or nature things in your enviroment is fine too..
or something like Danbo's photos are simple and nice too. it doesn't have to be 'danbo', anything is nice too ;)
i think good camera isn't really needed as long as you think good photos can be produced from whatever your camera...
well, that's my thought ^^

[edited: i wrote Casarina-san earlier, i meant Cerise-san. hontou ni gomen  :imdead: ]

I dunno if this idea has been suggested, but I thought that the story could be how we found Yuki's works, what are memorable/favourite songs of ours and why etc, what are the impact they have on us, and then post our best wishes and thanks to her..? I've thought/read that sometimes listening to what the fans think of your work and how they become fans in the first place is a good encouragement to writers and composers. The introductions page is quite full of those, if we could compile, or re-work them?

Then the landscapes part, I'd better start taking photos if that's the case. I haven't anything except those I took of my neighorhood, which is all high-rise flats. :spotlight:

Ch-Chotto matte! :swt:

Feli, the only love-love skits I did were in the PCG. I think they were written by Cerise...? :confu:

Re:

I'm in on the photo-of-the-world idea!!! :sohappy:
And yes I'll draw a picture if there's a picture part in the book :D
If not..then can I draw the cover? Pleeeease~

But not the story idea, if ANY yuri(girlXgirl story) is gonna be included, even anything suggesting it.
If any yuri goes into the book, then I'm seriously OUT of the whole project, sorry. It may be funny for us but they would probably not appreciate it. Maybe weak yuri would be okay for April Fools', but it's definitely not something appropriate for someone's birthday.

A DSLR isn't needed to take decent pictures!
I'm quite satisfied with my phone camera and I think it's better than my Samsung VLUU lol
And maybe something near your town can represent the place you live in! In my case I never really travel a lot but I have some pics I'm sure that can represent my country :D

I am more into the picture book as well.

I agree with HIS MASK.

The story doesnt have to have any yuri in, it can be a comedy, eg Keiko falling off the stage while jumping around during ongaku's bridge, or something like that. :XD:

Ok! So I guess we are going to have a picture book as a gift to Yuki. I guess this is not going to be a DOC/PDF like last year, right?

I may try to whip up a sample chapter that will serve as a template then, and I suggest that the others do the same.

Is my suggested title enough, or what else can you recommend? (perhaps change the English phrase in the title if "tierra et symphonia" is fine)

So we have members here from the Americas (North and South), Europe, Asia, and Australia/Oceania (no offense, but are there fans from Africa?). With this, I'm guessing that our book can become an encyclopedia, lol.
