I don't mind what is chosen, I'll help with anything to the best of my ability...
So will I :bow:As long as I don't have to show my face, my voice, handwriting and drawings ...:barf: :hide:
And about the caption idea, it isn't mine  A member posted that idea in the 2012 BD project. I don't remember who, though :rain:

I like the PV with images/videos/pictures from fans all over the world idea, maybe we could combine that with FxMac's idea and make it a video kind of like a storybook telling Kajiura's history and then when we get up to present day have the images/videos/pictures from fans all over the world wishing her happy birthday and the best for the future or something like that? :ayashii:

:ayashii: Are you thinking something like a countdown video from 1993 to 2013 showing all her works and the background music changes every year.

Something like:

1993 (#cue:Swimmer)
*shows covers of all yuki's album releases on that year*

1994 (#cue: Chao Tokyo)
*shows covers of all yuki's album releases on that year*

1995 (#cue:*most prominent song from yuki*)
*shows covers of all yuki's album releases on that year or even anime that features her music*

and so on... until 2012

2013 (#cue: Consolation)
*shows animes and album that will feature Yuki's songs*

:ohoho: :ohoho:

I can help writing Turkish lyrics to melody. It has come to my mind now but have you guys ever thought about writing a kaijurago song using the kajiurago words used by Yuki until now( We don't have to produce new words). I have a also build-up language for my fanfic so kinda I'm experienced in that area :hero:

Or do you guys have build-up languages too? We can make multi-build-up-language pv to the one of Kajiura Songs xD

@NoctuaTenebra:
Do you know Inuyasha german opening "Was ist zeit?" which is my favourite *-* Please cover it too :shy:

Ah, when its about a multilanguage cover, we dont have to make others sing our language. Each of us can translate a line or two, or verse (depends on how much of us would paticipate in this) on our language and sing it her/himself :confu:

It has come to my mind now but have you guys ever thought about writing a kaijurago song using the kajiurago words used by Yuki until now
I quite like this idea.

Another idea crossed my mind. If we could ask arq-san to lend us some of his kajiurago translations, and if someone else has an inspiration to translate to put it in gift too. Like showing Kajiura-sama how fans imagine her kajiurago songs.. :ayashii:

everlasting song ~multi-lingual ver~? :XD:

how about CPM: Kajiura B-day Special Maxi-Single? :knife:
It may contain few multi lingual tracks where your native language can fit,
and a "digital booklet" that contains artworks and greetings? :ayashii:

M01. everlasting song ~version 2~ ? (perhaps?)
M02.
M03.

...

Where are these translations *-* I had tried translating them too :spotlight: Yet I stuck in after some extent :leaf: I'd really glad to write and sing a kajiurago song with you guys :sohappy:

I don't remeber where Yuki said but she had talked about her dream song Yume no Tsubasa and also the lines of Angel gate
"Watashi ga ima koko ni iru koto wo
Yorokobi dato omoitai"
She had thought that these moments in our lives are so rare.

Is there going to be a vote like previous years? Me is ready to vote :glasses:

the simplest happiness....

^ Why do you only talk about the song, there are so many ideas to be discussed :desksweat: and no, we cant ask Kalafina because they are not fans, they will do their own present to her anyway, there's no need to mix them in ours (not menthioning that its impossible to come in contact with them)

@tsuba: Please forget about singles or albums. If you remember in Rave D's case who had made an arrange album proffesionally for Yuki , he didnt even managed to send it to her, and no if we end up covering a song it must not be everlasting song again because we did it 2 years ago.

@tabete mio: I think she doesnt need something to remind her of her own career and discography, she already knows these better than we do.

These are the ideas so far I will try to categorise the quotes better later I skipped some explanatory posts for space economy.

A. Standalone Ideas

chrisgarci said:
I suggest that we forum members try to make another cover of Yuki's song, but to make it distinct from before, we sing some lines of the song translated in various languages of the members from America to Asia, with Japanese being the last (and perhaps the first), to see how far her music reached its listeners all these years... (ex. first 2 lines -> japanese, second 2 lines -> spanish, then german, greek, etc...)

I know the challenge will be on what lyrics should be translated and what language should be used for the lines, but I hope we get to have this happen! *if near to impossible, please disregard*

EDIT: The songs I recommend we get to translate are either Hikari no Senritsu or Mirai. There can be others. What would you want guys?

Oh well. I guess it's kinda hard after all...

Here are my other wild ideas...
A catalogue of outfit designs (handmade or digital) for Yuki (formal, casual, unique in each country etc.)
A video showing each one of us greeting Yuki and express how we really love her and her music
Create a short animation that uses the best of Yuki's tracks

I guess they are a bit too hard as well as they require some people with expertise to deliver a quality work...

How about everyone lists 1-3 artistic talents they possess? Then we can decide where people could use their talents for the project. Drawers/Artists for example could easily make cover art/inserts for the album or be instrumental in making something art oriented.

Musically inclined people could help make the songs by singing, playing instruments, etc.

I just think it would be best if we pinpointed the artistic strengths of the site as a whole. Even if you can't draw/sing (me) there are other hobbies I'm sure could be used with the project. I like to do origami so maybe I could make FJ's favorite animals, or make origami based on lyrics from yuki's songs or something.

3. An album with pictures of anything with captions related to her lyrics. Ex: pic of a moldy cake on a silver dish --> caption: "silver dishes for the memories for the days gone by" :ohoho:
I don't remember anything else, sr. May try reading the whole 2012 thread again for ideas but I'm only taking a short break from doing homework, so not now.

Maybe should we think about doing something about it. One idea would be to write a story telling the History of Kajiura-dono. But not a simple book. Something like an interactive book in which we would include the previously given ideas (pictures relative to the Kajiura's song, lyrics translation, PV,...).

Since she looks at picture books for inspiration, why don't we send her inspiring landscapes or traditional art from our countries?

B. Compositive Ideas.

^ Oh that's a pretty good idea! (and an easy one too) maybe we could also combine it with some videos of landscapes that we will film outselves :ayashii:
Liana_Ilia said:
^I like that idea as well. Maybe a slideshow of the landscapes on youtube or something would work with one of her songs playing. Just a thought.

i like the idea :goodjob:

Haha, thank you, I'm the one who sang it! XDDDDD

Hello guys, I have some ideas for us to make an unforgettable birthday present for Kajiura-san :shy:

Here are the ideas :idol:

Let's go outside from our houses and go to the crowdest place of our hometowns. There hold a show card which is written *WHO WANTS TO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YUKI KAJIURA" then record the celebratings of them into videos. (You must have seen those king of happy birthday videos). Then put together them. I'm sure that seeing her fans celebrating her birthday from the various places of the world would make her cry from happiness. I'm into video messages coz seeing her fans from different nations could be more effective.

Dream that a video that everyone from different places says "omedetou goizamass Kajiura-san!! Daisukiiii!!!" like lines :dote:

If you don't have time to go out contact with your friend from you nationality who are Kajiura's fans and request them to record a video message via camera ( high quality as much as possible) :idol:

You guys know there is a video of Kalafina at the end of Red Moon DVD ( what they're doing or where they are visiting etc). Besides our happy birthdays and wishes for her, at the end of our video we can add a song /songs of hers. It is like this;
1) if we choose one of her favourite songs, we decide one and all of those who said "happy birthday" , each of them says a line or a part and we complete one song from the beginning to the end.

2)Another option we have (my vote for this :D) that all of those who said "happy birthday" , each of them sings a song of hers ( a part of it)
This could be done in two different versions;
a) everyone decide a song and those who decided for the same song share some parts between them (if we choose to do "a" I think we should decide all kaijurago song since it's her favourite language :sohappy: ) You don't have to complete the song completely. Just choose your favourite parts of that song. This could help you not to choose same parts of that song and at the same time would provide variety.

b)Everyone decides one song of hers and decides a part of that song. However everyone can't choose same song. So in this version there will be variety of her songs. But while choosing , do it considering your voice tone. Think that which song will fit your voice best. For example my fav. is oblivious but I don't have a soprano range. So I will not choose it in case we go with this "b" . But if we go with "a" then I can consider one of Keiko parts.

Turn upside down the lyrics at the cpm website and choose old songs of hers too beside new ones. This will make her happier. This will make her know that we've been in love with her songs for years*-*

Either a or b... Both will let her know that everyone around the world listen and sing her songs~~

I'm kinda creative this day I'm waiting for your opinions, yoroshiku onegaishimas<3
I have to admit that I like almost every idea :XD: But I'm quite addicted to the one with the video greetings! What about something like that, only with birthday greetings on the signs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoJmK4Vw04Y

We could then use a CPM-cover of one of her songs as background music! Kind of two-in-one :XD:

Liana_Ilia said:
I do like the 3rd idea from wormbook as well. I think it should be a little easier this year (since the foodbook was a bit much, and almost did not make it in time) and that would be a good idea to piece together pics from different songs. Would it be a youtube video or a slideshow of some kind? Each person who is involved could pic a song, and try and find as many pictures as they can, if I am reading you right and that's the right idea.

george1234 said:
^ alternatively we could draw sceneries or images discribed in her songs. Drawing humans is difficult but I think everyone can draw eg: some silver plates. :XD: Then we could combine these pictures in a book again or have them featured in a video with a cover song playing in the background, or have them in-between video where members wish "Happy Birthday". In second part of this vid we could put Kowz's suggestion too (landscapes from our countries to inspire he).

each of these ideas doesnt take much time so we could do them together.

Liana_Ilia said:
^We could wish her Happy Birthday in our own languages, or say it once in Japanese and then our own, and have that playing while the pics are showing. I like the drawing idea, even though I am bad at it heh and then we should have the lyrics from the song on the pic as well.

NoctuaTenebra said:

How about we take it to the next level. :knife: Instead of clips from an anime we can use pictures of sceneries in different countries. And we can have drawings of our utahimes and Yuki singing like in this PV. I can contribute some drawings if anyone is interested.

What do you think guys?

That sounds really nice! :nosebleed:
And almost all of our ideas would be united then! We could create a PV with landscape pictures of our countries, drawings, and the caption idea with the pictures could be in there, too! The song for the PV could then be a CPM-cover or just the original song :3 And in the end, we could just add our birthday wishes (picture, video, recording...). This way, everyone would be able to contribute something! :sparkleguy:

:ohoho: Your Kajiurago's Happy birthday looks cool!
How about CPM's calendar ( :uh..: but it's so simple, right? ) or digital booklet with photos of nature (or different kawaii animals, like Yuki sometimes to post in her twitter) around the world. It's maybe already was here...
I think Yuki always be happy because of the attention to her.
And Last year's Foodbook was impressive. :dote:

The Kajiurago birthday looks awesome!

I like the Kajiurago song (putting Kajiurago words to a song) idea. Could it be tied to the PV?

then the landscapes could also be put inside and our birthday messages can be put onto the pics? (I think someone already suggested this)

I'm not sure, though. I'll do my best whatever idea comes out.

Here nobody not sure... But why we should do only something one - we can do a few gifts.
Anyway idea with photos of nature landscapes of where are we lives i like more and more - I'm sure Yuki likes a beautiful landscapes.

^ We were planning on combining different ideas into a single gift, since mulltiple gifts might make things confusing since each of them will required different teams of members working on each, and different leader for each of them and because of that not all of the gifts might make it on time.

A landscape book sounds like the most tangible idea so far. We could take really nice photos of our most favorite landscapes and hopefully find a way to put them in a nice book. I wasn't a fan of the "ebook" format for the cookbook..so hopefully we could do an actual bound book somehow.

I still am yearning to do a scrapbook for some reason..I think it would be awesome to show the history of the impact Yuki's music and artistry has had on all of our lives. Every member could have a page and basically put drawings, notes, landscape pictures, photoshopped images of ourselves with Yuki and the girls, pop outs, sd cards with song covers, links to fanart/fancovers, etc.
