Seeing everyone so excited and cooperative we could really make something seemingly impossible :glasses:
 
^ Its always like that until you need to make people submit their parts in time (better not start narrating what I passed last year *cough* submissions in the last hour before we send to Yuki *cough* :XD: )

So we better focus on 1 relatively simple project and if we have it ready before her birthday we could sart something smaller and send them together.

People sometimes do their best at the last minute.

Procastination for months, then Adrenaline Rush when it is a few days away. :XD:

This year should be different though.

How about everyone lists 1-3 artistic talents they possess? Then we can decide where people could use their talents for the project. Drawers/Artists for example could easily make cover art/inserts for the album or be instrumental in making something art oriented.

Musically inclined people could help make the songs by singing, playing instruments, etc.

I just think it would be best if we pinpointed the artistic strengths of the site as a whole. Even if you can't draw/sing (me) there are other hobbies I'm sure could be used with the project. I like to do origami so maybe I could make FJ's favorite animals, or make origami based on lyrics from yuki's songs or something.
 
^I like that idea too, although I play violin but not that well, as some people pointed out and as I know. I am trying to learn Mizu no Akashi, but I don't think i'll have it good enough by then, or be confident enough to send it. heh I do really like the landscape idea.

This is my first year, also... So likely I'm just going to go with whatever idea that wins at the end. Though I like the landscape and the PV ideas.

The PV part, is it going to be a recorded, filmed, or typewritten messages for her to be put inside a song of choice? Or a video with all of us talking and saying Happy birthday and the like, with no music?

I can't draw and my singing is somewhat weak... and IMHO, my only 'talent' would be writing. I'm not sure how it would help in this case, though.
 
isn't canta per me a bit hard to sing? i'm not sure about the pronunciation :XD:
my suggestion is either everlasting song or sing a song :sohappy:
 
We are still at the stage of discussing different ideas. If the song cover one gets prefered we can then discuss what song we will cover :)

What was Yuki's favorite animal again? How about making a unique sculpture (ceramic/ivory/whatchamacallit etc.) of that animal and have it shipped to her? Then the sculpture will come with different notes from us. *ok I know it is a verrrrry wild idea*
 
^ I mean the animal that is most associated with Yuki in many FJ merchandise... such as shark for Wakana.
 
If there going to be song cover,it better start earlier. And we need a mixer that quite pro.... :ayashii: Is there any idea that might combine every skill we have here into something? I mean some of us good in drawing/singing/writing....we might able combine all the things in a video. Last year is a book,so this year a video?
