Waiting for Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#4 PART1 DVD

OMG!!! Finally my dvd has arrived!!! I've watched and confirmed everyone's opinion: the DVD is very good. Never knew Yuuka could do THIS well in a live show.
 
Just a little remark: I think Yuuka's voice was a little bit impaired by her dancing... But overall, the show was above any expectations since we were expecting something like this:

But the details.... what will we get for the first press edition...? hmm... :stars:

I wish it is a private video recorded by every FJ.. such as...go to supermarket.. cook....watch video together..etc.. wakakakaka!!! in my dream

Aw, that's it? :uh..: My Yuuka DVD arrived today! That was SUPER fast! No need for EMS! Sure beats YesAsia. Still not sure what they meant by the special case. It's just a slip cover housing the regular DVD case.
 
Quite honestly...I was not impressed with the performance :shy:

Then again on my scale of awesomeness Yuuka is on the bottom rungs. I just don't like her songs that much and her singing isn't nearly as impressive as the other girls. She's just plain and boring IMHO.

I just watched the DVD. It makes me think of the old days when Yuuka was the primary singer in FictionJunction, very simple singing solo. I liked the performance a lot but after seeing FictionJunction Vol.2 live, I actually liked that better. I guess more singers singing together in chorus is more exciting to me.

By the way, while I loved the rearrange for Nowhere, did anyone else think that the chorus there was a bit messy and chaotic? Not the yamani part but in the middle of the song while Yuuka is singing...

IMHO, the best parts of the songs were when only Hikaru and Kaida were singing. I thought that that "hey, hey, hey" part Yuuka did was so weird... But anyways, we have to compliment her for her effort in trying to be more energetic, even though it's not part of her nature.

I loved the beginning with the yamani yamani and the rearranged pitch change, that was genius to make it sound less repetitive. But the rest of the chorus while Yuuka was singing, the whole thing sounded kind of noisy IMO.

I was in awe of yuuka through the whole thing. Doesn't she ever get tired? But it doesn't show through her voice at all. Since she's the only active one on stage, you gotta hand it to her to make it lively. :ohoho: Can't wait till Part 2!

it seems that Hikaru had some problems with her mic since we can hardly hear her singing the chorus

I wasn't so into Yuuka before, but this live change my mind :dote:

Yuriko and Hikaru did pretty well... :XD:

and is it just me, or some part of the chorus is studio version?

You know, before this I kinda forgot how much I love her and her song... Maybe because before this Live I watched Live Vol#2.... and totally fall in love with the rest of FJ girls! :XD:

psstt~ I think I like group performance more than solo... Arashi and YKLive#2 taught me that! :ohoho:

YK: The next song is … It’s not called “A-side/ B-side” currently, is it? I mean, the next song is a certain single's coupling song. Both of us like it. We thought it would be the best for the last song of our live, and consulted and decided to do so.
Actually, the writer myself think its lyrics pretty honest. In some songs writers try to write easy-to-understand lyrics—I think “easy-to-understand” may not sound good, though. I think creators sometimes make their works easy to get across, and other times they put their real feelings in their works. As for this song, I put my real feelings in the lyrics very much. I like this song. I’m very pleased to play it by two of FJY at the end.
YUUKA-chan, how has been this live?

YUUKA: It has gone by so fast…well… it's been fun, and passed too quickly. I’m happy to sing this song, “Yakusoku” at the end…
