Yeh, in 2009/2010 I thought Wakana was really good too. Around that time she was doing this:

Nope - I think she was pretty decent around that time...

:XD:

But Yuki has trouble reading English, right? :fwa:

That's why we are trying to make it as simple for her as possible. Though, I don't know if it's working or not! XD

I took what you said into account Cerise - Is this any better?

This e-mail was written by a group of fans who met through your music. We come from different countries and have been to your lives in Europe, the USA and Asia. We keep in contact through the Internet and enjoy talking about your new live DVDs and music that we've bought.

Firstly, congratulations on your successful 3 day special! Many of us watched the live-stream and we enjoyed it very much. It was nice because a few of us have not been able to attend one of your concerts in person yet.

There is one thing we have noticed, however, at some of the lives we have attended over the past year. We thought that sometimes Ms. Wakana looks, and at times sounds, strained whilst singing. Occasionally, it even appears to be painful for her. Ms. Wakana still sings very well but it seems like it's harder for her than it was in the past.

We are sorry if this e-mail is inappropriate, but naturally, as your fans, we were a little concerned and were wondering if something might be wrong.

Personally, I think the third paragraph could have some fat taken off of it, but I don't know if you guys feel it needs the padding? I also don't know, but I may have totally screwed up the tense.

I also think we can probably take out the red part. While I understand why it was added, I think the first 2 paragraphs do well enough to explain how much we love her. <3

As someone else said, I think we are getting to the point of editing for the sake of editing. We should wrap this up within the next couple of edits. :)

Me too!!!! U____________________________U

I think it should be a mob kicking them :sparkleguy:

Agreed- Wakana was fantastic in VOL#4 and the red moon live. The magia live in Lisani2010 shocked me but I think that was the mixing because I couldn't hear Wakana at all, then it went a tad :uh..: It's not like she's offtune but just strained and more difficult to sing. Comparing her mizu no akashi performance in vol#9 to 4 is really upsetting to me, I adore Waa-chan :nosebleed:

I think this line could be mixed into the last line to get rid of some 'padding' but the way it is I think it's alright . And Yuki's english is not bad , in the Anime Expo Panel for some questions in english Yuki didn't need a translator and immediately replied to them

No further Edits for me. :tea: It's already great as it is. No, scratch that, it's perfect :knife:

I think there's been a lot of thought gone into it considering she probably doesn't know English well enough to pick up on the nuances and might just shove it in Google Translate.

^ Hopefully she'll ask someone about it before doing that... Google translate :uh..: *shudders* But, if she can answer English questions at a panel without a translator, I think it's simple and direct enough to understand.
So much happened while I was gone... :rain: I knew I should have check it earlier this morning....

Just one nitpicking thing more from me- This sentence:
We thought that sometimes Ms. Wakana looks, and at times sounds, strained whilst singing.
That word just doesn't sound right to me,and the only thing that I can think of is that is makes it sound less current, which it is. That and I just nitpick... So could we change it to "think"?
And end up with:

But, the real next step is now how we want to sign it- names, countries, usernames "your fans", etc, and how we want to send it.

Do you guys mind if I jump in here for a moment? This might just be me, but I think the bolded parts kind of seem contradictory. The second bolded sentence makes it seem like we haven't been to any of her lives, while the first one implies we've been to quite a few in different areas.

...a few of us were not able to attend this concert in person.

Feel free to ignore these changes, but am I making any sense? :confu:

@george: Oh, you're right! :XD: I hadn't seen that thread, though, so I didn't know. :spotlight: Yeah, removing it all together is better.

Kind regards,

My apologies for joining late. :bows: I think that the word "observe" may be better than "think". My reason is that the word "think" make us sound like we're having doubts with our observation of Wakana's conditions. Anyway, it's true that we noticed Wakana's conditions through observations. So that's all I have to say. Just ignore me if you think my edit is unsuitable.

You know, she really isn't fluent enough in English to be affected by this level of thought...

You guys are right. I think we've taken this just about as far as it can go. For simplicity sake, why don't we just remove the red bit. I completely understand why we put it in, because we wanted to push the fact that the stream reached her international fans. Reading it now, however, it seems unnecessary.

Of course. If we weren't fans then we wouldn't have bothered with writing this letter, would we? :innocent:

Yeah but it wouldn't hurt to butter them up and it lets them know that there are more waiting fans overseas b/c I know I damn well want another Europe live

^ Yes lets keep that sentece to hint that there are many fans waiting for more overseas tours. :ohoho:
