Wakana was actually okay, albeit sounds almost extremely different from her early FJ/Kalafina days. and that yodel voice, oh God.

It was just the way she sang "Hikari". She sounded totally bunged with the cold. : p I wonder what really happened to her voice... 0_0
You said in the other thread that YK needed a break. I'm not the only one who thinks her latest stuff has been pretty stale?
I'd be really interested to know how much of it is her and how much of it is the media she's had to write for of late. The likes of Madoka are pretty generic when you compare it to something like The Garden of Sinners, which is weird and depressing as all hell. Personally, I've only seen the first film and wasn't a massive fan, but the music was great and the series undeniably features some of YKs best work. I can't help but wonder what she'd come out with if she got involved in something a little more off the wall.

No, you're not the only one. It seems to me Yuki lacks time to come up with new ideas since Kalafina has to release so much stuff lately. She's the only composer for them, besides she is involved in a number of soundtrack projects. Such a tense work may result in lackof inspiration so we've got a number of recycled songs and boring tracks. That's why I also think she needs a rest.Mwhlr said:

Maybe her fans (us) can help YK to write songs since she didn't have inspiration due to her busy schedule. Then she can just concentrate on making music. Just my thought.

I love writing songs. But I only know how to write in English. That doesn't matter. If the content of a song lyrics is good, then YK can find someone to translate it to Japanese without modifying the meaning of the lyrics.

How many times does Wakana use falsetto in one song?
Because from what I've heard, excessive use of falsetto or fake voice deteriorates the real voice. I'm not an expert in music so I'm not really sure. Though from what I've read in the comments, she uses a lot of it.

^ I don't usually notice her using it that much but then I realised that whilst she doesn't normally use it overly much when she sings in main, she uses it a lot more when she sings harmony or chorus.
And remember that in lives, she also usually takes on the extra Yuriko chorus parts from the recording, which are usually in falsetto as well...

Well yeah I do agree, it's not just the girls that are used too much but also Yuki. Though I don't have problems with this Recycle Bin Single, maybe Sony or Madoka wanted it for the movie. I hope she finds her inspiration when she takes a vacation, she can always come to me.Alphard Sokaina said:
