I'm talking about the breathing though *is thrown to the river of life*
I also think that Wakana sang most of Red Moon with her head voice and that 'Saigo no sora' part isn't that good... . She could touch it better with her chest voice. (but at that point, I think that it's hard to switch to chest voice.)ritardando said:Correct me if I'm wrong, but I still think that Wakana's singing style is mostly head voice. In red moon "saigo no sora", which is relatively low, we still could see her neck-veins, because as far as I know, someone doesn't have to stretch her throat muscle that much if they're using chest voice...

It may be just my feeling that I think she uses chest voice>head voice..(maybe because I'm more impressed in her chest voice...Orz..), but if we count it song by song..the result may be different.. I accept that recently, she uses so much head voice for Kalafina... (and her part in FJ 4-formation are almost all head voice, but her FJ solo are different.)

Cerise said:Well, to me, chest voice sounds more like 'shouting' or 'belting' the higher notes out, whereas with head voice it sounds more like the sound is coming from your throat, e.g. it sounds like you sort of 'narrow' or 'pinch' your throat to hit higher notes (I guess?) I'm pretty sure low notes in chest voice just sound more powerful than low notes in head voice... But there's probably a more technical way to tell them apart. It's probably different for particular singers as well; some people it's easy to tell apart their head/chest voice cos they just sound a bit different, but with others it might be harder to tell if their head/chest voices sound quite similar
It's about chest and head, not chest and throat voice, but still thanks. I hope to find a video where all the 3 kinds of voices are explained like thatmurrue02 said:Here's the video
