chimichanga is not good unless there's some jalapeno in it. Not too much. Just enough to burn the tongue and wish you didn't eat it the next morning. Oh wait... That's chilli... never mind.

Yup!, that's how the chili I normally make tastes. Love spicy foods. With the white chicken chili, though, I made it waaaay too spicy. Should never used canned green chiles (and the recipe even called for jalapenos ahaha). Fresh is much easier for controlling the heat.

I love SPYAIR so much …….. literally it's SPYAIR >>>>>>>> wall >>>>>>>> everyone else (sorry Keiko T_T)

Someone got experience with Amazon.jp or CDJapan?

http://www.amazon.co.jp/Kajiura-ele...5-2994661?ie=UTF8&refRID=0HBSS2VQRF8HVX7RCAWV
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/VTXL-21

Does this go to customs? So I have to drive there and pay extra?
I don't know how it is in Germany, but in America they send you a slip if you need to pay extra custom fees. Otherwise the item gets sent to your house just fine.

I asked someone who lives in Germany and she stated that with Amazon Japan orders they charge the customs payment up front and arrange payment to German customs so you don't pay when the package arrives, and for CD Japan they correctly declare the value but you need to pay on delivery for anything valued at over 20-40 Euro (and may need exact change for the customs payment).

If the seller deliberately undervalues the item you could end up having to travel to customs to pay the duty and pick up the package.

Spirica: I love making curry. I use some curry spices from Penzey's, a spice place by us, that my sister got me a couple of years ago and I have since then made it better each time I think. We used to have really good chicken steaks that we would get though church's school, but they no longer exist. There's one that's sort of similar but they were not at our grocery store so my mom got some other ones, but they don't taste as great. (Plus I'll probably be put off chicken for a little while due to the flu, but I hope not too long heh We make a lot of chicken in this house) But are you a chef, or caterer? We had someone in our class one time that was going to school to be a chef, but he made something for the ethnic foods dish day, which was our last day of class. I forget what it was but it was good. heh

I kinda want to go to this one grad school not because they have a great program in public history/archive management, but because they offer a lot in Cherokee studies

@Liana_Ilia I saw this reply last night and totally forgot to respond. Sorry about that! I've tried to make curry, but I don't think I'm very good at it yet. Share your secrets! :p Good spices like you have seems to be a good place to start. Most of what I make is with chicken too, so it does suck when sick and not wanting it. I'm actually neither a chef nor a caterer. I just got into cooking because I lived in a townhouse at school and we had to cook our own meals, but I didn't know how, so I learned and liked it a lot!

What does good sushi taste like? I made sushi in school once but I sucked and I want to try it again. I'm sure someone here has tried some proper sushi :)

So this SPYAIR fan messaged me online and I found out she is from the same city as me and went to my hs. and what's even funnier is that she is friends with my friend .... the world is a small place. lmao

I had this in Yokohama:

In Japan, it comes with wasabi already added.

In Sydney I've been to the Ozeki Sushi in the food court at the basement of Westfield (corner Market and George Streets).

I log out of tumblr only to distract myself for an hour with instagram instead...

EDIT: random, but man I love history. people are so entertaining and it's just fascinating how everyone can bring a different perspective to the table

I showed my friend the kagayaku pv and she said 'it sounds like there's a man in the background' with there obviously being two people singing

^My brother said that about Keiko the first couple of times he heard her sing. I schooled him on Kalafina and now he knows. But I was just like :omgz::whip::punched:- at him. (Nah, I love my brother I wouldn't do that to him. lol)

I never thought there was a man in Kalafina songs. I instantly knew there was a Contralto in the mix when Keiko and Wakana did their duo vocals in Hikari no Senritsu. I find contralos captivating. Keiko is no exception. There's a full bodied depth to their voices, no matter how high they can sing. No sopranos can match it.

Two things.
A. I have holidays now and I honestly don't want to be near any of my school friends and I kind of want to just do some things and relax on my own. Seeing and talking to people 5 days a week for 11 weeks gets a little overbearing. Except for whatever reason I've decided to stay glued to my 3DS and not my phone this time around so I haven't been able to tell anyone that I want to relax on my own. I've gotten like 11 texts and 9 phone calls, all from only two people.

B. About 10 minutes ago my cat decided it'd be the perfect time to just venture out into the unknown and climb the hedge on the house three doors down :anger:

Mazy why do you have to scare me so much.:TdT:
