^lol Yeah, they did cut it strange. I liked the episode though. It was very heartwarming. It had a lot of peaceful music in it. (I do really like Asuna's theme.) I think the fish song was new. I never heard it either. (Was anyone else reminded of Madoka in that last fight sequence? heh)
 
@Mizu: the music during the monster fishing was new, but not the one where Asuna beats it, that one has played around 3 times in the past. True they cut the episode at the middle of the fight, and without cliffhanger. Why are they finishing this the next episode? It could nicely take 2 episodes with all the blabber that happening after the battle :uh..:

Darn those cliffhangers :knife: But overall, quite nice. A new track for the fishing episode (been a while since Yuki last composed such music :dote: ) and clearer versions of two epic vocal tracks. The BGM transition when
Asuna attacked the fish
(or should I say, lack of one?) was rather weird, though. :XD:

Judging by the title, we're really closing Ainkrad down, huh?
For once, it feels nice to have the story spoiled forward a bit, because our couple's dialogue seemed to have more death flags than Urobuchi's works combined. :uh..:

I just didn't like the rabu rabu mode. It spoiled my mood, but I'll still look forward for every episode.

oh too bad they will compress so many pages in just 1 episode (talking about next weeks with the battle and the collapse of Aincrad.

I cant wait to see her too!, I think she was shown for a second on the first episode (http://imageshack.us/a/img689/9895/suguhaep1sao.jpg)
but now she will have lots of more scene time :plot:

Also cant wait to see the new BGMs for ALO, they have to be magical :dote:
 
Wow, indeed, a lot of species. Meaning possibly a lot of different variations for each... which already smells like Tsubasa Chronicle... :stars:
 
Just stumbled upon this fantastic MAD video on Youtube about SAO. Be warned as it contains spoilers about the novels. I loved how it was presented though. For the music, the title's Unfinished by KOTOKU.

^Also its spoilers after the SAO Aincrad arc so if you havent read the novel dont watch it.

Is it me or they made it using the illustrations from the novel ?
 
^ Yes. Those came straight from the novels, with some from other sources of official art. Kinda awesome to think that this video is fanmade...
 
Thank you!! Aoi Eir's song is not bad but from the sample, I really dont like the one of Haruna Luna, it sounds mainstream and she doesn't sing with feeling, also Yuki's defitely not involved with it
 
@Kazado: wait, what? So is Yuki still composing for season 2? That would not be very cool if someone else did it, or is it just not announced yet? I thought it was going to start though right away.

@george: Maybe it sounds that way for Haruna, but it's such a short part of the song, so it might get better. And I do like the Aoi one too. I was hoping it would be better than Lisa's Crossing Field. :dote:
 
^ the second "season" starts next week, and yes composer hasnt changed, what Kazado said is that OST 2 isnt in BD?DVD vol 5 (as expected)
 
woow really nice handled "end of the arc" for the anime limitations and the adaptation process

the skinny kirito looking for asuna was quite emotional... :cry:

needless to say..i can't wait to see how kajiura-sama deals with fairies and such themes this time....i want stand-alone vocal compositions!, arrangements of the main theme with a different flavor, who said tsubasa?? oh god please!! :nosebleed:
