why are there kids in SAO anyway? (like the ones that lady looks after)
 
^ Because before the first day of the actual game, you were supposed to be able to log out from the game, so the parents of those kids bought them Nerve Gear to play SAO, but after the start of the game Kayaba Akihiko announced that no user would be able to log out unless someone reaches the top of Aincrad (100th) floor, so these kids got trapped inside the game, and because they are too young, they cant fight monsters and its dangerous for them because they will die both in the game and the real world if their HP bar reaches zero.

Seriously, that's what I've been hoping with a show like this - a good number of battle themes. And I'm not disappointed. And Yuki seems to be really getting into electric guitar solos lately :groucho: :sohappy:

Not the first time we're listening to silence either :blood: PMMM sound direction was bad? Repetitions or no, but at least 99% of the show was accompanied by something! Making such use of Yuki's involvement is like having a world class chef in your kitchen and asking him to make you some coffee. :...: I wonder if we can at least hope for A-1 going Shaft and adding some BGM on the BD. :uh..:

Apart from that, I love the OST so far, and like I said, while not outstanding, SAO itself is proving above my initial expectations. Let's hope they'll keep at it until the end. :sparkleguy:
 
^ Thinking about it Fate/Zero had these kinds of moments sometimes without music as well, for example the Lacer vs Saber battle, but at least it had the most epic ones with.

Just watched the ep. It wasn't that sad, since there is a possibility she could be "reborn" or whatever. (Not sure how that will work either lol) But I liked the new battle music. And that was a little strange, they should have put that song in when Yui was attacking, not before. Oh well. Is it almost done for this season? I will be sad since there hasn't been that much music really, or very short songs. Hopefully season 2 will be better, music-wise.
 
^ season two will be right after, without gaps,
and the ALO world is kinda like Lord of the Rings and WoW
so I am expecting really interesting music from Yuki
 
And that's why people joke that I'm a fan of Bee Train. :XD: Seriously, with all these tendencies, I find it harder day by day to resist recalling those times when Yuki's music played a big part in the production, sometimes having the scene adjusted to fit the BGM instead of vice versa (and sometimes downright PLAYING LOUDER than the dialogue and SFX :ohoho: :ohoho: :ohoho: ). Not to say things were perfect then (I still consider Tsubasa Chronicle 2nd musical direction atrocious in many aspects), but still there's a good reason to miss those days... :TdT:
 
^ahaha sou ka. I agree with you, and being a Bee Train fan is really a good joke. I just hope SAO director gets trained by Mashimo. Yuki's music was really taken care of by Mashimo with great mastery. :love:
 
^oh that was supposed to be before the Yui story I think.

I think it starts on episode 16, since there's no way they will have the last battle and boss fight and after-talk in 1 episode.

EDITED: the party will enter the boss room, which will lead to the next episode titled 'the end of the world'
 
Then they are going to have the fishing events in ep 13 (in the novel it was long enough to fill the episode) the events after Yui and the battle with the boss in ep 14 with the appearance of Kayaba Akihiko as cliifhanger, and in ep 15 the battle between Kirito and him, as well as the collapse of Aincrad and the talk in the waiting room sort of place

Kind a disliked SAO because of AsunaXKirito rabu rabu mode which started on episode 10, but I don't want to drop the anime yet.

Was the music during those scenes new? I don't think I've heard it before. Both the music during the actual fishing and the track that plays when
asuna kills that monster/fish/thingy
Anyway, I liked it

They cut the episode in a really weird place imo. I had just turned up the volume because I LOVE that fighting music......
