^I thought there were a couple though, there was one right after the other and I thought the 2nd one was new. But oh well, I still liked it. heh
 
anyway, that music before the OP in ep6... was that vocalled??? it's just that REMI is usually featured in anime music like that

Haruna Luna will be singing the ending theme for Sword Art Online 2nd Season (2nd Cours?), titled "Overfly". No details on who is composing and arranging the song yet.

Hmm... Hopefully this means Kalafina for the opening? COME ON COME ON COME ON COME ON!!!! :stars:

@joel: That is the track I was talking about that was longer in the new episode.

If YK composes this song, I hope it's better-suited to Haruna's voice than SwT was. I hope it's a little more interesting too, lol.

soo, just watched ep 8. Now we are finally back in the main story :sohappy: In the novels I enjoyed the Aincrad main story far more than those sidestories tbh...

Was the fighting music at the end of the episode new? Maybe it's not and I just haven't paid attention before, but I really liked it. It sounded... Kajiuran :XD:
 
Just watched the episode too, apart form other BGM there are

- a horns bgm (possibly instrumental of the tokyo konsei main theme (?)) at the start of the episode
- a clearer version of the REMI track from ep 2
- a new battle music at the end of the episode that sounds like Tokyo Konsei and its sound epic!!

As of the plot, it really follows closingly the novel which i love :sohappy:

the most powerful after-boob-grab slap I have ever seen :XD:

And Haruna's doing the 2nd season ED, eh? for some reason, the title "Overfly" doesn't sound like a Kajiura song to me... :XD: Wonder if this might be a new common partnership in the future, with Kalafina OPs paired with Haruna EDs... :ayashii:
 
Finally found time to watch both ep 7 and 8 :sohappy:
For ep 7, I didn't read the story in the novel carefully so I don't know whether important parts were skipped. (I felt sorry for Lizbeth when I read to the part that has Kirito visiting her shop, b/c I thought she would like him and got rejected or give up on him by herself, so I skipped most of the story. Why does the author like to make this kind of side story so much?? D:) I think it was a good ep, and the music was nice although most of the tracks are from the previous eps.
For ep 8 ... IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sohappy: They're using 2 eps for this boss battle!! Not much of the novel was cut and Kuradeel (also Cradil in some subs) looks way uglier than what I imagined :XD: Although the skills' names weren't shown in the ep, Asuna and Kirito's fighting skills are way better than what I imagined (or maybe it's just b/c I'm not good at imagining things :XD:) As for ep 8's music, the new battle tracks are so great!! I know this doesn't make much sense, but they just sound so Kajiura!!!! :dote:
@Geogre: True!! If he wasn't in the safe zone, his HP would be greatly reduced. She didn't even need to use a sword technique to beat the crap out of him :XD:
2nd ED by Haruna Luna huh? Well, anyone's ok with me, as long as the song is good :)
Btw, for those who've read the SAO novel arc,
ep 9 should be the Gleameyes' battle, 10 for Healthcliff's duel, 11 for Cradil and 12 (possibly 13 too if SAO has 13 eps) for the boss battle, I think. Battle with Healthcliff was kinda short in the novel.
Btw, ppl use past tenses to talk about things in a show (in this case an ep) that was aired right? Do I need to use past tenses when discussing things like things that may be used in future eps (like soundtracks, skills, etc.) too? I'm kinda confused about this ...

I thought the same too. It doesn't have that certain *ring* to it similar to the titles of other Kajiura songs. It sounds more like the kind of song that LiSA would sing for example. Well, whoever is composing and arranging the theme, I agree with the others that as long as it suits Haruna's voice and singing style, it's fine, even if it isn't done by Kajiura.

As for the opening, I'm guessing either Kalafina or Aoi Eir could get it. Hoping for Kalafina since it could mean we may get two A-sides for their next single assuming they'll be coupling it with Madoka's movie theme. :ayashii:

Ahaha feel free to use whatever tense you like as long as your English is understandable regardless of grammar. I don't think anyone here is gonna bite you over it as long as your language doesn't offend anyone. :V: :XD:

Nice episode overall. Asuna is a downright likable character, and apparently has all the makings of
a good wife :plot: Yeah, Auntie Spoilerpedia enlightened me on that, too :ohoho:

Oh, and to recap:
obligatory half-dressed scene - check
obligatory nice butt focus - check
obligatory grope - check!
Considering that Madoka and Fate/Zero make up about 3/4 of anime I've watched during the last year and a half, I almost forgot how much this medium lives by the glory of fanservice :ohoho: :ohoho: :XD:

That was a great episode :sohappy: I've been impatient for them to get into the main arc...And the BGMs (why have I not paid more attention to it before? Remi is awesome). And of course, more Asuna :dote:
Also I'm relieved that we can now stop watching supporting female characters fall for Kirito (for now, anyway) and watch Kirito fall for a girl instead :XD:

I loved loved loved the new vocal battle song. It had the same feel as Credens Justitiam, and sounded similar, but had it's own tone as well. I am not sure I really enjoy that weird violin song that played in this one and during the dragon fight. I liked it a little more this time. Maybe if I hear the rest of the song, unless that is it, but it didn't sound finished to me. Was the soft keyboard song while Asuna was cooking new? I could not tell. :dote: I am looking more and more forward to owning this ost.
 
^ do you refer to the REMi track that played duting the fight before the boss ? That's not new, it played on the 2nd episode when Kirito was awe-ing at Asuna's speed.
 
That's the BGM that I'm really interested in :yaoming: (and the edits of the main theme)
They played 2/3 songs with REMI vocals, right?

I hope Yuki will be the composer, and the arranger will be the same person who arranged the FZ ED2 XD

^ So far we have 2 songs with REMI

1. The one that played in episode 2 and 8 (Asuna fight with fat boss in ep 2 + fight between Kirito & Asuna vs that monster that's before they enter the boss room in ep 8)
2. The one that played in the houd guy's chase.

Yes, george that is the one. In any case I loved it to pieces. I don't remember much from the beginning. lol (Have horrible memory) it would be awesome to have some other vocalists like Haruna do a Kajiuran song for the show, since she is doing the 2nd ending theme. I think her voice would be really good for a song like Alone or Preparation. (2 of my faves from Pandora Hearts.)
