@wormbook: If I was Yuki I would be making a set of music unique to each MMORPG game that appears to the series (SAO, ALO, GGO) [although its highly possible that all the 25 episodes will be dedicated only to SAO and there were will be a second season for ALO imo] to give it a gamish feel to it, like how each game has different BGM than others.

I think... that was a new vocal track in the beginning, and I loved it. I am going to have to watch that part again, maybe several times. (Since the comp I was using before didn't have very good sound.) And the piano + strings song at the end was really beautiful. Almost brought tears to my eyes. :dote: I am liking the show a lot more now too. I should read the novels if I can get my hands on them.

Is it six episodes so far, counting yesterday's?
Now that I'm back at my desktop, I can finally catch up. I heard people said something about cool "flower search" music, eh? :stars:

^I think that was me talking about the pretty flower song.

And thanks George! I will have to read them when I get a chance. heh I hope they play the full version of that vocal song from yesterday's episode soon. (Now I listened to it again and it sounds similar to the creepy Madoka songs, which I love. :dote: )

^ :omg: I totally forgot about yesterday's episode, going to watch it now :uh..:

[EDIT] Musics that I loved

1. The BGM during the cape guy chasing and 2. when the Laghting Coffin guys came. Especially the second is :dote: :nosebleed:

This episode too looked rushed, as in the novel Kirito didnt found out the truth by looking at his disappearing sandwich but at a names list Schmitt had given them where "Kains" was written as "Caynz", so when the gone to the "Momentum of Life" (aka death log) that wasn't shown in the 2 episodes they mistook him for someone that had died.

Watched ep 6 :ayashii: Creepy music :dote:
Like Geogre said, the ep looked rushed :uh..: But this time it was better than ep 2 :) Love the creepy music :psst:
Planning to re-read all 9 current vols of the novel + side stories in this week :sohappy: Can't get tired of SAO no matter how many times I read it :dote:
Dunno if anyone's tried this, but playing ep 5 + 6 in the background while reading that side story in vol 8 feels really good. It's like u're watching the whole 2 ep but all the details u need are in the eps :XD:

Err I'm 2 episodes behind! I can't find time to watch it. I envy you guys.

With all these ass shots they’re giving us, http://arinashi.com/img/4g4i9zyq.jpg they might as well call this show Nice Butts Online.

Not to mention that episode 4 wanders into "Jail Bait Online" territory. :ohoho: What plot points exactly made the staff include that Silika-embarassing scene at the inn and then have her being grabbed by tentacle-bearing monsters throught the rest of the episode? :desksweat: :knife: :XD:

Overall, though, I enjoy the series so far. It doesn't look like a BIG deal so far, and the choice of separate, continuity-breaking stories over a consistent storyline is a bit dubious, but eh. Gotta admit, I liked eps 5 and 6 most so far. And that resurrection stone twist in ep 3 is almost Urobuchi-esque "troll the audience big and small, but troll your characters most of all" modus operandi. Such a tear jerker... :TdT:

And the music! :sohappy: After six episodes, my impression we're finally getting a spiritual successor to Erementar Gerad OST. :dote: :dote: :dote: I hope it will have more vocal tracks than EG, though; the ones I've heard so far are :nosebleed:

About the 7th episode: There wasnt any new musics as far as I recall but it was a very good adaption of the original story :dote:

I thought the piece from when Lisbeth was lashing out for the broken sword was new? Or maybe I missed it earlier.
They repeated the flower music from ep 4, plus a clearer and slightly longer use of the chase track from the beginning of ep 6. :dote: And that battle theme during the dragon fight (can't remember when it was first used). Ah, when are they planning to announce the OST already? :wai:
The story is nice, too. Lisbeth is a quality genki tsundere, not unlike Sayaka in character. :XD:

oh, and if anyone's interested, here's where I got the ep

:XD: Sports a moderate 480p and the subs are actually switchable. :ayashii:

I'm pretty fond of Lisbeth too, there's just something really charming about her. But she probably handles her emotional baggage better than Sayaka... :XD:

I was hoping that they would give two episodes for this story though  It's one of my favourite side stories (from what I've read of the light novels anyway) Oh well, I still enjoyed it. Also, I finally remembered to spare some attention to the BGMs :spotlight: Considering Yuki was the reason I started on SAO in the first place I really should have been giving the music more of my attention..

I thought the kind of happier celtic sounding song during the shop scene was new, and then the longer version of the vocal track from the beginning of the last episode was kind of new, just because it was longer. And that was the piano version of the flower song. :dote: Ahh I can't wait for this soundtrack to be released so I can hear the full version of some of these songs.
(And about Lisbeth, I liked her too but for her to fall in love with someone only after meeting them for one night seemed a little fast, although I know it's slower than in some stories. heh Still... maybe a little more time with Kirito first.)
