SEE-SAW "Sarigiwa no romantikusu" ED theme song for 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" released on January 26, 2024

Yes or no. Depends how annoying you want me to be.
(And no, I don't have it yet. I will probably be buying the CD single with HF ost. Probably...)

I have been enjoying this song more than the other tracks released for the movie. As for that transition after the first refrain, it will make sense when you watched that part in the movie (yes I was spoiled and okay the timing of the track made sense).

maybe unpopular opinion but if that's intentional then tbh timing and making a transition in a song to be very abrupt and doesn't seam that well in a song just to fit the scene the song is used in is a bad and weird decision. generally people listen to the song on its own, not to imagine a scene where it may or may not be used in v ( ' ') v

Just listened to it! My opinions are . . . Well, outside of the glory of a full-on See-Saw reunion, I found the song pretty dull. I don’t entirely know why, but my current suspicions are with the lyric flow. I have a bit of a complicated relationship with Chiaki’s solo career (specifically her 2015-2017 era *shudders*), so something about the way the lyrics fit with the melody doesn’t work for me. Then again, Anna ni Issho went from being a song I found decent to one that I now love, so who knows. Maybe it’ll grow on me.

Speaking of Anna ni Issho Datta no ni, I liked the live recording of it much better than the A-Side! Sure, Chiaki’s vocals are . . . Rough, but it had been a decade and a half, so I don’t blame her. She certainly brings energy to the performance, and I loved her vocalizations at the end a lot! Also, the instrumental prelude was a lovely composition.

SEE-SAW’s track made it to the top 3 of the daily chart as of Jan 31. Takanori’s FREEDOM made it to top 1.

Context of this tweet by TNK/TMR calling Shinn’s VA (SuzuKen) a traitor for having his song on a different anime (Bravern OP) competing with the GSF tracks in the charts lol.

Not really related to the song itself, but still related to the movie. I have just been back from the theatre today. The OSTs has at least 3 (or may be more) different songs based on the melody of Shizukana kono yoru ni. I wonder that do they need to credit Kajiura in the OSTs at this point? O___o?

About the pilot suit being a spoiler, it’s just a spoiler because Sunrise treated them as a spoiler..lol. Not a big deal for me though. Lacus isn’t the only one who Sunrise made their pilot suits as if it’s a big secret and didn’t remove the black cover on the merchandizes until a few days after the movie release. But it isn’t like they get their own mobile suit or so.

I’m with Ritardando for the matter of characters…. as I’m a big hater of Kira…lol. In the theatre, Athrun was clearly the fans’ favourite who got the most and the loudest cheers from the movie-goers. They surprisingly love Shinn in this movie, considering that many folks in Thailand don’t like him after watching SEED destiny. It seems that Thai fans don’t care that much about Kira, and the amount of hate he gets from Gundam community in Thailand is rival what Shinn gets as well… A number of fans also don’t like Lacus, but with the complete opposite reason to Ritardando. They think that she’s just playing innocent, while she’s in fact a mastermind who is able to hold the strong military and political power in her hand.

I love Kira and Lacus. I hate Shinn with all my heart for his behavior in Destiny. Freedom is my least favorite GSF song tbh. I tried listen to it many times. But i'm glad this movie and songs doing so well 👍

Her name doesnt matter as it doesnt reflect on the plot in some way.
But since we started the trivia:
I also noticed one of the Archangel weapons was named Corynthos thats the name of a greek city and one of the episodes took place between Cyclades and Crete (Cagali menthioned it - it was when her country was about to take part in the war as part of the allance but you know who intervened)

Disc 11 includes all the ReTracks versions of the Gundam Seed/Destiny songs Kajiura made for the Remastered anime.
Also .あんなに一緒だったのに ~Athrun Zala feeling~ on Disc 10

But where is "Shoot!" ? I didnt hear it during watching the episodes either.
No Yuriko-only-intro Distance or Life goes on ballad start (23:52) either but i guess im asking too much.
btw i found 2 other version released on drama cds

Cool to finally get the unreleased remaster version of Hono no Tobira.

I really thought that extra Remaster disc would be more soundtrack but songs are fine, too, I guess. Shame they are including literally everything that was already released (or so it seems) except the extra tvsizes (and instrumentals, I guess). (edit: oh you're right, they skipped the og character songs, too, heh)
I'm considering getting it since it's a good price for what it is... but I'm also 2poor so probably not...

I mean... those character SUIT CDs are nothing new so... it's not exactly a discovery... lul.

Edit:
Oh, double checking I think Shinkai no Kodoku remix also remained unreleased until this.

^ never talked about a discovery. i went to YT to look for the Life goes on ver from ep 25 but couldnt find it but saw these other 2 instead which were also used in the show.

Kay fine... the post read to me as if you were proud of finding them as if they were unreleased/weren't in cpm discography already... ;p

But while we're at these SUIT CDs, to anyone that missed it, friendly reminder of the Akatsuki no Kuruma proper instrumental from SUIT CD4.
