On the other hand, episode 4 also counts as a big tearjerker. And it's up to the expectations overall. :goodjob: The barriers just keep getting fancier and more acid, the story is developing, and we have another, really spoiled Puella Magi around (and if Sayaka didn't like AKEMI'S attitude, then she'd better stay away from Kyoko at all :hide: ). Btw, we have yet to learn what kind of weapon Kyoko wields as her trademark. :ayashii:
I'm worried about Sayaka,
she seems to be going right the path Mami warned her against (she even lampshaded it herself at the beginning of the episode), and it has yet to be seen how Kamijo will behave (for the time being, the only reaction he looked close to is understandably freaking-out).

Seriously, he changes his expression mostly to his benefit alone. He is shown squinting happily when he takes a bath. But in Episode 3, there were no baths around, so... sorry, Mami-san.
(speaking of which, there's another, albeit disturbing, explanation to his reaction).

AS folks have made a ton of speculations already (there's one I actually find possible, but I won't dwell on it for now) and even several AMVs, but the latter all get deleted because of Sony. Seriously, how snobbish should one get to hunt down AMVs on YOUTUBE! :imdead:

I'd rather have a separate PMMM RPG. Even though it would have small chances of being fan-translated, let alone localized.

4-5 days. It was leaked last Saturday.
 
Connect is actually a very decent track with a memorable refrain part. It's just that it dims significantly in comparison to Magia. But it carries its functions out just dandy. And AFAIK it's popular enough.

I think connect represents the cute part we tough we would have with a magical girl like anime and Magia is what we will have really
(seriously the one who thought about mixing a magical girl with the Saya no uta guy is a genius)

and the previous pic reminds me greatly of Nanoha were the maskot animal
was proved to be a guy who can turn into animal (and could see all he wanted Nanoha taking baths and changing clothes all he wanted in that form :psst: :plot: )

btwe check here http://animapple.blogspot.com/2011/01/i ... urite.html mashimo's ranking is quite low while Shinbo is almost at the top :ayashii: but I quess that's exprected since Mashimo's anime were always so boring :uh..: :XD:
 
I thought Connect was really... ordinary when I first heard it but it's grown on me and I really like it. It's nothing you haven't heard in a Shoujo series before but for what it is, it's a good track.

I managed to spoil myself accidentally before watching Episode 3 but even still when 'it' happened my jaw literally dropped.
I thought her death be something a little more drawn out and more melodramatic like getting mortally injured during battle and they cry while watching her die. The way it played out though is best described as like something out of a horror movie. Suddenly, swiftly, and unapologetic. Akemi gives her cool warning in the end like 'I told ya so' then Magia starts playing... and I'm just staring at my computer screen with my jaw still hanging open.

And that's when this anime became purely awesome to me. :touched:

Episode 4 didn't leave as big of an impression on me but man, that Kyoko chick is a bit... unnerving. Very nice and well placed black out between her last two sentences at the end there. The witches and spaces are most definitely getting creepier... it might get to the point when I have to stop watching this show late at night. :uh..:

I'm with Nick, I think Sayaka is going to be another tragic character. Her rashness is understandable (though I think her crush was just being a self pitying asshole) but she doesn't seem like she's going be able to handle both the pressure of being a PM and not receiving any recognition for the sacrifice she made. She's definitely going to end up breaking and regretting her decision. Madoka... yeah, she'll more than likely form her contract close to the climax, which I actually really like. It's refreshing to see the main character take the backseat for a change and letting the other magical girls shine.
 
Oooh...I've heard a lot of speculation about what might happen to Sayaka, but I think I like your prediction best so far, Chanson :ayashii:

She does seem to be set up for some tragedy...but a lot of people seem to think she'll just end up dying too. But yes, the idea of her slowly breaking would be a lot more interesting -- another sudden death wouldn't be that much of a shock after Mami. And plausible too, considering how it's been pointed out that she would want Kamijo to know what she's done for him but that it will probably never happen. That desire for recognition could push her closer to the breaking point.
