Too sad that many people blaming Yuki for sticking to old recipes did not seem eager to applause at this downright innovative work in her career. Whatever you do, the audience is a tough crowd to please. That's why, no matter what I may wish a composer to do or write, I trust him/her to do whatever (s)he sees fit. It's just better this way. :tea:

I've finally watched the episode, glad to see it doesn't lose hold of the show's self-set plank. :ayashii: The
Sayaka vs Kyouko
fight was undoubtedly the main event; but the rest of the episode is just as interesting. I must say I like Kyouko... at least while it seems to me there's more to her than the outright arrogance she shows. Urobuchi might have stated that she only follows her needs, regardless of "good" or "evil" - but remember all fiction examples you've ever known concering such people - do they usually keep this disposition for long? :plot:

And while there is little new music, Eri's track's highlighted more than ever. The instrumental version might be a bridge, but I actually hope to hear it as a separate track. :nosebleed:

In other news... memetic mutation concerning Mami is apparenlty over 9000. :white: Seriously, this pic nearly dropped me off my chair. :XD:
 
From AS, an exerpt from Eri Kitamura's interview:

・Ms. Kitamura says that she feels pity for Sayaka. She implys that Sayaka will be in a pitiable condition. But, she also implys there will be also a slim hope (or mercy? / 光 = light) for Sayaka.
・She says the expectations about Sayaka will be reversed over and over again.
・Sayaka is a keyperson. Chiwa Saito (Homura's voice actress) said to her, "Eri, you are lucky to play the role of Sayaka. Give it your all! "

Seems like Sayaka will at least survive all 12 episodes. :touched:

Serioously, Urobuchi-san, we wouldn't mind if you left EVERYONE alive. :knife: Personally, I wouldn't want Kyouko to die either. If Shakespeare managed to write some works without going... well, Shakespearean on his characters, then it should be possible here, too.

I recall reading that Chiwa Saito originally applied for another role, but Urobuchi talked her into voicing Akemi. Maybe it was Sayaka she didn't get to voice, and she still slightly regrets it... :ayashii:

Anyway, episode 6 incoming! :waii: To think the series is already halfway through... :TdT:

This one! I love how the story is all left with misteries with every new chapter! I think it's developing well, it's the first anime I watch which is only 12 chapters long! (Thanks to Magia and Canta Per Me for introducing me to it :plot:) The last anime I saw was Inuyasha: The Final Act with 26 chapters and actually I'm watching Digimon Xros Wars and it's already on chapter 26! :cheer:

Actually aside from that freaking same-old BGM, there are new BGMs, too. So far already 2 new BGMs iirc... :tea:
 
I can't forgive the ridiculous reuse of that Eri track. It makes me want to throw the speakers out the window.

Kajiura and/or the sound director have failed on this one.
 
okay back to story:
Sayaka has more or less decided to face even other mahou shoujo in order to protect people (or particularly fucking Kamijo-kun). nearly Kyoko vs Sayaka part 2 until Madoka and Homura stepped in. Homura asked Kyoko to step aside and let her fight Sayaka instead (?) but Madoka prevented Sayaka to henshin and threw Sayaka's soul gem away (and it got on a moving truck). And things became ugly: Sayaka lost her soul. kyuubey then explained about soul gem must be close to mahou shoujo (within 100m radius or so?) or such thing will happen. Even Kyoko didn't know about this. Homura chased the truck to get the soul gem back and... made it. And as she gave it back... sayaka's back and... to be continued :glower:

And Madoka is still as annoyingly pure as ever, hasn't become mahou shoujo either :tea:
