I have a question for the community here:
do you think that the Madoka OST will be released as a "normal" OST in the future as in the case of Kara no Kyoukai? I really hope that this will happen, because I'd like to own the OST without buying 3 Blu-Ray Volumes...

^ who knows, if they plan to they will announced it in the coming months. Then again they might wait fors 2nd season to release a "Best of" after wards *imagination runs wild* :XD:

These are doujin albums. Rearranged version of the anime or homage songs to it. These things are released at comiket and being madoka such a titanic hit it is no strange really.

:sparkleguy:

I got the link of the preview for the second one via Paperblossom's Facebook... :sparkleguy: . I think it's quite cool (except the fact that they didn't include Octavias&Walpurgis's Themes coz they did this cover album before OST3 was released.)

These are my favourites. Though this doesn't count because it plays on my weakness of folkish music and wind instruments.

I think the percussion in Symposium Magarum should be stronger, though. I still can't control my ego boost whenever I successfully translate the Latin titles, hell yeah Latin skillz.

^ Venari Strigas is just the greatest~ The trilled part of the guitar solo makes me want to fall down, it's so epic :XD:

Off the top of my head, I would say Sis Puella Magica, Puella In Somnio, Pugna Cum Maga, Venari Strigas, and Incertus are my favorites. I've only heard OST 3 once, so I have yet to classify those...

My favourites would be Puella cum Maga, Decretum, Venari Strigas, Incertus, Numquam vincar, Surgam identidem (love the part after the vocals intro) and Symposium magarum :dote: (< not in order of favourite)

I didn't liked to much Numquam vincar at the fist but I like a lot it now, once you get used to the weird percussion it is a good song

But most of my love is still with Decretum :nosebleed:

Overall, I liked the all three OSTs. My favorites are: Credens justitiam, Pugna cum maga, Decretum, Venari strigas, Nux Walpurgis, Symposium magarum, Numquam vincar, and Surgam identidem. :dote: :nosebleed:

my favourites would be: from Vol1. credens justitiam, middle instrumental part of sis puella magica :sohappy:
Vol2. Decretum (Ave Maria could have been better...) Vol. 3.Numquam vincar, Surgam identidem, Nux Walpurgis, Symposium magarum.
The last track of Vol.3 is a bit off right? Didn't get the purpose of that one :uh..: I'll follow the majority I think and say vol.3 was the best of all three.

Oh, the only purpose of the last track inclusion was to keept to releasing the FULL set of BGMs used. It really feels misplaced to me, but then again, I bet DDR players will be happy. :XD:

^ Of the "misplaced" OST or the actual ones? :confu: Because, since I'm learning Latin, it's incredibly useful and easy for me.

^ yep, it is.
Although we may be too harsh on it. :XD: Unlike the tag sets in the leaks, the booklet DOES label it as a bonus track IIRC. So it's technically not quite part of the OST. :ayashii:

As to Latin titles, they are easy to pronounce in Russian, so I have no trouble either. :tea: But that's not a given for other languages.
