just wanted to point out that no one's translated Soba ni Ite (Chiba Saeko) yet :ayashii:

^ Saeko doesn't have a song called that :confu:

If she did, then Yuki didn't have anything to do with it. :confu:

Where does "Castle in the Air" originate? :confu:
It says Saeko Chiba, but when I heard the song...
it was a guy singing...

時は行く 僕達は
すれ違い また出会う
凍えてた冬の日を
かみしめて
朝が来る 風が吹く
人混みを歩いてく
君のため 僕のため
世界は夢を紡ぎ続ける
Time goes, we miss each other
and meet again
reflecting upon the frozen day
of winter
morning comes, rubbing my eyes the wind blows
I walk through the crowd
for you, for me
the world keeps spinning dreams

I've updated the romaji for the first line of Saeko Chiba's Sayonara
http://canta-per-me.net/lyrics/sayonara/
as per Phantomus' suggestion:

いつもこんな
一緒にいたね
雨の日が二人好きだったね
悲しい事も
せつない想いも
全部聞いてくれた友達

Itsumo konna fuu ni
issho ni ita ne
ame no hi ga futari suki datta ne
kanashii koto mo
setsunai omoi mo
zenbu kiite kureta tomodachi

However, we still need a re-translation of the English:

We were always together
in the wind
we enjoyed rainy days
sad things and painful thoughts
we were friends
who listened to it all

I've left a private message for someone who might be able to help.

I've received an anonymous correction to Sayonara:

We were always together like this, weren't we?
The both of us loved rainy days, didn't we?
Even sad things,
Even painful feelings,
You're a friend who listened to them all

Goodbye, Thank You
For seeing me off,
Though we'll surely be able to meet again
About that person
Who you've been admiring a little,
Be sure to let me know about that person in your letter, okay?

That time was
A wonderful season
And there wasn't anything like hard times
So let’s not
Become adults
Who forgot everything, okay?

Goodbye, as of tomorrow
We’ll live far off,
Different everydays,
Even if I
Forget you a little
I’m sure you’ll forgive me, right?

I wonder what kind of adults
Will we become?
What kind of love will we experience,
Cry over and laugh about someday?
Let’s find a sun that doesn't sink,
Let's chase
Different yearnings
And arrive at the same place

On a window that doesn't open a landscape that becomes more distant,
Our memories are reflected,
And quietly disappear
I wanted to hear the sound of your voice once more,
Because we won't be able to meet tomorrow

Goodbye, Thank You
Though we won't be able to meet tomorrow anymore,
Goodbye, Thank You, Take Care,
Goodbye

^ please dont apply anonymous fixes, and fixes in general to lyrics (or any page) unless they are checked by one of the people that translate in this forum - because there's possibility that 1. it will be wrong 2. it will be from someone else's site -other than the one posting it on ours- without us knowing.

how do you know that ?

Perhaps I should have said "I received a correction from someone who wishes to remain anonymous" rather than "received an anonymous correction".

It was in a reply to the private message I left:

I've left a private message for someone who might be able to help.

and I believe that the person did it themselves rather than borrowed someone else's translation.
