Now waiting for their next Asia tour :XD:
Yes, we hope that all'd happened (been sold) so far motivates SME enough to let them have an Asian tour... SG being one of the pitstops... :stars:

^ Stop monopolizing them! Let Europe have a chance of at least a visit before you start talking tours of places I don't live in!

^ + infinity

It's always the States or Asia... Haven't Yuki ever felt like going even to Germany?
Or if in the west only anime cons are considered worthwhile for Kalafina... Are there any really big ones held over here? I really don't hope for Moscow fests (let alone Minsk's Higan fest :ohoho: ), but maybe somewhere in EU? :plz:

^ Yeah! Even just in Europe, I could get on the ferry and then take a coach! So much jealousy at all of the people who've been able to see them. It's a one-in-a-lifetime chance that I would go to such extents to fulfill, so I would surely do all of that. And the best part is I would get a short holiday out of it, too.

^ Italy should be their first stop, totally. :sparkleguy: That's where I'd go first; it's where all the historical stuff is, and the artsy stuff as a bonus.

A question to the people that attended the concert: Was Kalafina's performance as a one-man live or part of a bigger concert where other artists also performed ?

@ pontianak: Not all the historical, to see Europe's history you need to visit many of the countries, including France, Germany and Greece too, apart from Italy.

^ Ans: the latter. AFA ain't that rich... :psst: Or if you're referring to "combined performance" instead, nope... to each their own, 'cept for Kanako's extra bassist. :confu:

In case you'd like a bit more detail, it went something like: Kanako Ito, Milky Holmes, 10 min break, angela, 5 min break, Kalafina, 5 min break (or less), May'n. :plot:

@George Oh, I know that. I was just saying that's where the most memorable stuff in the historical department is. The Ancient Romans are by far the most well-known Ancient Civilization in Europe, mostly because of its profound influence of all of our cultures, brought in by conquest and colonization.

All history is interesting to me, save that of the Americans, but I definitely admit that there's a combined belief that the Romans hold superiority in the categories of interest and common acknowledgement, since Rome was the epicentre of most Western entanglements for a long, long period.

Hell, the iron fist of Roman rule even extended far into the Middle-East, though it was a bit less enforced due to the local people being a bit more inclined to defend their nationality and refuse to adopt the Roman's pagan religion.

Although, I guess it's arguable that it's actually the Greek influences that're most dominant. The Romans did take a whole lot of inspiration from the Greeks to the point of copying their plays, their architecture, their spoken language, and things of Greek origin were considered to be the thing that distinguished the richer classes of patricians from the poorer, common plebeians. By Nero's time, however, aspects of Greek culture such as plays, musicals and instrumental performances were considered weak and "un-Roman".

BUT I SHAN'T GET TOO INTO ANCIENT HISTORY BECAUSE I CAN TALK ABOUT IT ENDLESSLY :sparkleguy:

What AYYX said: the latter. None of the groups came together near the end to sing any song, concert ended after May'n was reinvited back to AFA ('12) post-performance (why would they ask May'n and not Kalafina :stupidtable: !). Would've loved them all coming together for a song though, angela with Kalafina :plz: .

By the way, Kalafina has the longest setlist of all the performers for AFA, but I think angela's performance was longer because we had lots of random MCs (including NicoNico Douga broadcast, KATSU onii-chan~ moments, "SIEG HEIL!" moments, and KATSU taisa moments :XD: ).

And the order of performances that I like during AFA:
1. Kalafina (obviously :dote: )
2. angela (never knew her before, but her energy and songs were really good)
3. Kanako Itou and Chiyomaru Shikura (I haven't watched Steins;Gate however ...)
4. Milky Holmes and May'n (the former was ... strange, and the latter was ... loud :uh..: )

I'm not at all an expert, but I think May'n is much more popular than Kala. :uh..:

If my ears didn't deceive me that night, the cheers for Kalafina were actually more rabid than that for May'n. :sparkleguy:

And for their first appearance, too. May'n had been in AFA for four consecutive years. :uh..:

^ Well, that's encouraging. I'm just judging by how May'n has many more views on her Youtube PVs than Kala...I always thought that she was more mainstream and had a more 'accessible' style than Kala. (I personally find Kala's style much more accessible, but that's my taste...)

May'n had been in AFA for four consecutive years. :uh..:

EDIT

I guess the audience is getting sick of her? :XD:

I think it has more to do with May'n being the final performer, and the MC wanting to "wrap things up". If she did that for every single artist it'll seem kinda' redundant, and if she specifically did that for May'n and Kalafina but not the rest it might seem a bit rude to the rest. Just my guesses, though. :tea:

That's...... quite a nasty way to put it. :psst:

Though yep, did read from a few sources online that people started streaming out after Kalafina ended... :ohoho:

^^^ Lol, I don't think that implies Kalafina are more popular. May'n fans could have afforded to miss this show since she comes to Singapore so often. Kalafina fans, on the other hand...

But yes, the cheers for Kalafina were definitely louder that night. I was one of the people who left after May'n, heh. Wasn't that interested in her, and I was just really tired... :uh..:

A number of the Japanese artistes/bands I follow performed in Germany or France...I didn't think Kalafina visiting Europe would be unlikely. Guess we'll see.

angela was really awesome too. I was so happy when they performed Beautiful Fighter...I nearly died when they covered Zankoku no Tenshi no Thesis :nosebleed: I love that song, can you tell? :XD:

angela insisted they'd be back last year...They returned for a one-man live March. Scandal said the same thing...They returned for a one-man live in September (I think). Dare we hope that Kalafina follows the pattern...
