Yeah, but still, it is hard to pronounce. And since it is not Kajiura singing, but the girls, it could go really wrong.

Anyway, I agree too with those who say that language is secondary; I love forest and it has engrish all over it.
 
Haha i totally forgot about that one but as far as i remember philadelphin and yuki.n had a hard time translating since it didnt make much sense xd

Νο it wasnt just me, i never said i only wanted Kalafina to have longer parts, my comment was more general, wat11 wished for Marchen to have Yuri Kasahara singing in the song in german as chorus, and Im fine with that. I just brought Kalafina/FJ into discussion since u said it would be awkard if they sang in other languages

Okay. My bad in my last post.

PS. I noticed someone on baidu claiming last week that there's a new Kalafina single coming on November 16. No idea if it's true or Marchen.

^ I think its quite possible, I was also thinking about November. The anime comes out Oct 26, so Nov 16 sounds a bit early (i would put it around 10 days later since its ED not OP)

It wouldn't matter. The show's not airing on TV (for now) so Kalafina's song won't reach the "random TV viewer". They may as well release it on the same day as the show comes out.

Besides, you seem to be thinking way too much about the dates. I mean - you "would put it 10 days later"? Why? There are shows from this season (July) which only had their OPs released now (September 7).
 
Listened to IEN again (after long time) and people are right that the Zaregoto bgm is kinda similar to it, but only the intro violin and the verse melody. Still its different enough in arrange and structure of chorus that it doesnt bother me. Would be funny if somehow IEN gets used as insert song XD
 
bump, TV size is out. Marchen is 1/2 exactly IEN melody with changed lyrics + 1/2 zaregoto theme melody. The flute is uneeded imo. :study:

It sounds alright so far. My only nitpick here is that Wakana's shrill vocal doesn't juxtapose well with Hikaru's belting voice. It's a little off-putting.
 
^ True, very true. Perhaps her shrill(-ier than normal?) voice is just an artifact of the poor rip. At least I hope it is!

No no, she just sounds like a harpie.

Some soundtrack pieces were meant to just be soundtrack and nothing else. :/

Repetitive as hell just like blaze. And the flute like George said came out of NOWHERE. Overall sounds great as a chant; not so much for a full blown SONG
 
Oh God, I was scared when I read you complaining so much about this. And then I read the other thread and got calmer. Similar to IEN? Good, I love IEN.

And then I listened to it and... Ok, it is IEN with a twist. But I prefer this than believish songs, so I'm ok with that. And I love love love this songs live, so I'll be waiting for it <3
 
Ι love IEN too but when she gives the same melody and same arrangement as IEN is like making pizza with emental instead of mozarella, they both taste like pizza but the second is less good just because its way to similar. I would prefer if they used IEN itself as an ED instead (they did that with Hoshi no Utai in the past)
 
Yeah, I sincerely was expecting a SIMILAR sound from what I read here, but this... IS THE SAME SONG, WITH DIFFERENT DETAILS, WHY. However, it still could have been believe numer 100, and I'm glad it wasn't.
 
Yeah, I agree with Sofia. While it is basically IEN 2.0, I prefer that infinitely more than another Believe/Heavenly Blue/Blaze.
 
I rather like it, but that's probably because I love IEN and Tsuioku, so another song like that is fine by me. I actually quite like the flute, I was expecting it to be really jarring after what people were saying, but it seemed to flow pretty naturally. As per usual, I'll just ignore it until we get a full version (Is that even confirmed? If this is all of it then that does indeed suck) as I don't really see the point of listening to just a part of a song.

I'd rather have another 5 songs that sound similar to this than ever listen to Believe again, at least.

I really like how Keiko goes up on "mirai mo soko ni atte". I particularly don't like how Hikaru sounds like she's trying so hard, and unlike most people here I like Wakana's voice in this song.

Hmmm. Now I understand what people are saying about IEN. I don't really care for that song that much, but I like this one a little better I think. I think I will wait until a longer version is out, or at least a better one. I do like the flute, like season. Hikaru seems a little strained, unless she was trying to go for that. It does seem to end kind of abruptly. I would have liked it as maybe an insert song and then the Kajiurago song that's on the website as the ending. (Still love Kala though.) Keiko also sounded cool, hope she has more parts, maybe the second verse? *hoping*
