Hikari Furu is a beautiful song, I'm so relieved that there's no more ear cancer!

@Kowz: Oops I confused Magia's page with Mirai ^^;

Was Magia also used as insert bgm like in the anime ?

Yep, insert and ending song.

WAIT, Magia instrumental was an insert song in the first movie. The one with lyrics was used as ending in the first movie, and insert in the second movie.

I'm so happy that Hikari Furu single got NO.1! :sohappy: This single is many times better than the last Moonfesta single.

1. Hikari Furu
--> I love this song the most. The beginning of the song is so serene and slightly melancholic, even though Wakana sounds strained at "nurashi~". :uh..: Overall, Wakana is amazing in this song. You've made it, Wakana! :sparkleguy: I like the setting in the PV but it's strange to be standing there from the beginning of the song till the end. :desksweat: At least, let them move around. Even overlays used like in TTB and Progressive is better than standing at one spot from starting of the song till end.

2. Mirai
--> I like this song as well, although not as much as Hikari Furu and Magia [quattro]. As I stated before, the song would sound better if Keiko sang Hikaru's part since the song is very energetic and Keiko is suitable for the role. Anyway, Hikaru perform well in this song as her slightly childlike voice suited the song. Congratulations, Hikaru! :sparkleguy: I like how Wakana sang her part although her voice sounds faint. The song is very enjoyable that every time I hear it I would tap my foot and nod my head to its rhythm. The song of light, love and hope. :sohappy: :dote: :shy: :plz:

3. Magia [quattro]
--> The addition of strings did add more flavor to the original Magia. I enjoyed it as well. But Hikaru sound slightly weak in the last stanza when she ended the song with "negai~". I don't think it's the violin that covers her voice. I really love the violin part!

Conclusion:
The way the three songs are arranged.

First is sad Hikari Furu. Second is hopeful Mirai. And lastly, the strong, emotional and energetic Magia [quattro].

It seems to tell a tale. A tragic sadness (death) like how "Hikari Furu" sounded fades away into a bright, positive, hopeful and filled with love "Mirai". Then came in the song of battle of emotions... "Magia [quattro]". A song where one who has recovered from sorrow finally finds hope and love in light... and eventually encounter his/her battle of emotions... the greatest battle of all...

Maybe you can related the conclusion to Madoka movie. :innocent:

@Ophelia: I really like how you described it, as a story and how it gets more energetic with each song. As for Wakana straining, I think it's how it's meant to be, since the song is very emotional. It would be something I would ask Yuki though if I had the chance to sit down with her. heh

I do not have a twitter account, probably won't get one. It was just a thought though. heh I think it fits the song pretty well.

I think Wakana's "straining" at the beginning is the best thing in the whole song (well, almost). I just love it and I agree with the poster above, it was meant to be like that because of the emotion IMO. When I first heard it, just like the same thing in bridge part of ttb, I thought she just couldn't sing that part properly but now I love it and think it is indeed intentional.

Why is there no Like button here? :XD:

Some forums do have a post evaluation system that adds to or lowers the user's "reputation" points (e.g. Animesuki forum). Although I never really suffered from the absence of it here. :XD:

I still like Hikari Furu more than Mirai, which may be odd since I ranked Credens Justitiam higher than Sagitta Luminis (both being among the OST's best tracks for me nonetheless). But I can't shake off the parallels with Eden mood, which is uplifting and elating, but different from the grand, heroic mood CJ gives off to me. It's probably why I can't quite "tune into" the song as deeply as into Hikari Furu (which gives me exactly the same chills Sagitta Luminis did, and then some). But it's still a treat to listen to. :nosebleed: And Magia Quattro is nice - not in terms of "so OK it's average", but a simply pleasant addition to the library, like the Magic mix was. I'm not sure if I prefer either mix over the original, but I enjoy all three just about equally. :tea: :dote:

And I've finally lived to see Yuki and Kalafina top the charts. Justice EXISTS. :TdT :sohappy: :

i keep humming hikarufur- i mean hikarifuru again and again today :omg:
i blame the pv :ohoho:

The setting of the PV is beautiful especially the shiny floor and the gothic gate. :plz: The girls are beautiful as well. :shy: :dote: But what isn't beautiful is the choreography. The should move around.

Well said :ohoho:

^Agreed. (And you may call me Lina, Mace heh) I am really liking the song more now. It's right up there with lilica and seventh heaven for me. :dote:

^Sure, Lina. Hikarifuru also grew on me so much from the first time I heard it. I mean, I sure did like it from that time but now it's becoming one of my most favorite songs by Kala. It makes me cry just like seventh heaven. Both are heavenly, "soul touching" songs for sure.
