Kalafina new single"Alleluia"

oh? Where did that come from? It certainly explains why the zero -> fsn thing felt so forced. Ironically, it felt so forced and obvious that it didn't move me one bit. There was no "ah! So that's what it's about" moment since it was so in your face. Consolation would have been epic.

Manten I have no problems with. Hikarifuru, the lyrics are okay but there's no particular line or expression that stood out to me. For example, I particularly loved seventh heaven's lines about kokutou saving shiki, bringing her out of the darkness into the light. Not to mention the callback to the lyrics in kimi ga hikari. Mirai however...

Her lyrics for the 8 KnK songs thus far have all been really good imo so I'm hoping alleluia continues the trend. I want something less... direct, I guess?
 
Nothing much with regards to what the song is like, if that's what you're after. They only recorded Kajiuran today. Must be a lot if it can take up one day. Japanese yesterday. Yuriko kaida is present. All standard stuff. This might have been for gin no niwa though. She said she listened to the mix of a song different from the one they recorded today so alleluia is probably done now. Meaning we're off topic again. Lol

Other than that it's mostly about the situations she encounters in the studio.

ahhh, wakana is so cute :shy: i'm just surprised they have this much energy to go recording for like 5+ hours.... of course, when it's your life's dream/goal to sing songs, i guess you go out all the way, all day err day.
 
^ Um dont forget they get alot of free time when they dont do rehearsals, or live performances, so this definitely pays back :)
 
^of course i know that, but recently they've been traveling all over the place for live performances and rehearsals. i'm just surprised that they still have so much energy after a succession of multiple lives (not to mention there's tons still to come)

I agree with your post :tea:

I'd rather that they don't make a PV if the artistic side of the PV is being sacrificed just for the sake of creating a promotional material. CMs, like the one Kugayama posted, will work just fine, IMHO.

Oh, two live tracks in the two singles. :plot: I can't distinguish differences in the live performances of Kalafina songs except the oblivious LIVE from SH DVD and the rest of the oblivious LIVE.

LOL yep, there's my daily dose of Wa-kawaii-ness :shy: Nice to see that they're so pumped and enthusiastic, I really hope their busy schedule doesn't tire them out too much :sohappy:
 
Haha, I love it that they don't want to stop singing. It only means that they'll keep improving on the songs. I can't wait to hear this one next month! Ahhh still far away. I will be so happy when it comes though.
 
Isnt it strange they havent announced any sort of promotional mini lives for the new single or studio live like they usually do ?
 
@Hatouchan: about the original TTB, Kajiura talked about it in this interview. It's one of the last questions.

And I'm so outdated on Yuki's stuff in general, I didn't even know that Alleluia would feature the Xmas live versions. Looking forward to hear those (I wish they'd also release sprinter and Red Moon, though :...:).


(and nice move, Sony, splitting them into the two versions...there's a special place for you guys in hell LOL)

Sony hasn't even sent out tracklistings for Hallelujah to stores. They are either superbusy with stuff or just superlazy about this particular single. :p
 
The samples for alleluia and dolce are up on the official site/SonyMusicShop, except for some reason they haven't updated the pages to include links to the samples (yet?).

I don't like either. dolce sounds like yet another madoka bgm arrange to me.
