Kalafina new single"Alleluia"

I suppose Kalafina hasn't done an upbeat, quick tempo song in a while, but the title "Alleluia" is so misleading. I thought it'd be operatic and I dunno...epic, like how Red Moon was. Or like adore.

It sounds like your typical J-Pop fare. Kajiura-san wasn't kidding when she said it was the quickest song she composed. :uh..: But hey, at least keiko has lines it. :ayashii:

Dolce sounds pretty nice though. Looking forward to that more than Alleluia.

But once again, Wakana fills the single. Is it so hard to have another Keiko/Hikaru-centric single like sprinter?

Indeed the alleluia refrain sounds generic, but who knows, the starting part might be nicer and this part might be fitting with the sample part. Glad its not a 100% ballad song but a half ballad one like Kimi ha hikari ni Kaete iku.

About dolce, it indeed sounds hikari furu-ish :uh..: and I cant get the melody beccause its dragging though the whole sample.

Looks like that not only the promotion but the song themselves are also cheaper than usual :XD:

Yeah, Alleluia sounds quite generic, but at least I'm happy Keiko got those lines. I hope she leads the whole song.

Dolce....well, it's not something that remained in my head after I listened to it...but nice harmony thou.

and dolce sounds like Hikari Furu, but have something that i like :knife:
 
I think I am going to wait until this single comes out to listen to the full songs. I know it's just samples, so we shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. But it sounds interesting, from the posts. I will try and be patient for this one though, since it is only next month. :dote:
 
^ I dont see any buttons for samples on the kalafina discography page and the plugin is just adobe flash player which is already installed on my pc so I dont get why it doesnt work :(
 
I think the guys on tumbrl are more useful, than sony, so let's visit them for the samples, since they're uploaded there... :sohappy:

EDIT: I think I'll love Alleluja, since I can image as it's played with the credits and it fits for the film, if it's about a bright future. Refreshing. But dolce is too short and odd at the moment.
 
Oh Wow...

Alleluia doesn't sound like Kalafina. It DOES sound very J-Pop-ish. But still, it reminds me somehow of Older-Style Kajiura. I might like this song.

about dolce... hm... haven't got any impression yet...

Hopefully, this is Keiko + Wakana centric ... they never have a duet anymore somehow.

good point, you are right now that I think about it, they havent done duet since Red Moon album (yami no uta second half), I guess Kajiura-san is lazy to write such songs :XD:

Alleluia is very different from the other KnK songs. It stands out a lot. Perhaps it's from Mana's perspective?
I do like it, though. it's pretty positive. I bet they're going to save it fo the encore, or the song before the encore.

Dolce, on the other hand, is weird. I agree with grunty that it sounds more like BGM. I think it's the strings.

On areruya, I really like this voice of Keiko :tea: at least she gets to end the [was that the] chorus. and perhaps the verses? and It's quite different from the previous Knk songs.




On dolce, mmm can't say anything about it now. The instrumental was really :ayashii: for a b-side.
