Kalafina new single"Alleluia"

i really really like dolce. it sounds like an overworld theme, or something from fire emblem :XD: :punched: the odd change in tune interests me

alleluia... i agree, it does sound like a generic jpop song. but i'll reserve my judgement until the single is released.
 
@joel: Keiko's voice is the one she always makes when she's happy in lives, where she sings without being able to hold back her smile which ends up changing her voice tone :XD:
 
Okay, I broke down, like I normally do and listened. I really am enjoying Alleluia, I was too thinking it would be more like lirica, and gospel ish, but it's completely different, unless like I said before, that the rest of the song is different. (I was thinking of to the beginning somehow when listening to it at first, maybe this was ttb's original and she used it for this song instead?)

And dolce is interesting. It has that Egyptian sound in the beginning, which I like, and then goes to something different, kind of like how I have a dream sounds. Hopefully Keiko will have some lines like in Alleluia. also, did anyone else think of Lilium from Elfen Lied when listening? I did.

Also I love their outfits on the youtube videos. Why did they not have a photoshoot with these!? Maybe there are some pics on the inside, I hope. (just starting to like butterflies a lot again)
 
^liana, these pics were taken from the consolation tour booklet thingy photos... unless you mean a separate photoshoot around only alleluia??
 
Well, both of them seem quite...different, to both previous Kalafina songs and what I expected them to be... :ohoho: Too early to tell if I like them. Probably will, anyway, since I always end up liking their songs if not at first then always after a few listens... :plot:
 
@Immortal: oh no, I meant the ones on the videos of the samples posted, and that kind of a bummer. I was hoping they were new outfits, but oh well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they have any pics inside.
 
Alleluia sounded different than what I was expecting, but in a good way. I'd expected something really simple and soft like Snow Falling, but it's actually pretty bombastic. Er, maybe a little too bombastic on Keiko's part, but for the most part it hasn't fallen into the realms of "too much." :ohoho:

Dolce's melody fascinates me less, but the entire arrangement and "feel" is more interesting than Alleluia. Pretty much sold on them both at this point--really looking forward to the full versions.

Btw, anyone know if the postcard will the offered by Amazon JP? I assume it would be, since most first-press bonuses are, but I just want to make sure before I order from them.
 
^I actually really like Keiko's part in Alleluia, when in some songs (like destination unknown) I don't care for her parts too much, not that I hate them... it's hard to say really. But in this song it seems nice, and somehow reminds me of moonfesta/Yane for some reason.

Aah, but I love Alleluia and Dolce both. One's bright sounding..like the sun just shoneon the horizon, while the other sounds instrumental-ly. Looking forward to the day when I receive the single.

I dunno if it is just me, but it is easier to tell the 3 apart now IMO.

Alleluia stands out more for me at the moment than Dolce. I love the drumming in Dolce, from what I hear. But Alleluia's overall melody and feel is more happy sounding.

And whatever doubts/hesitations that I have previously for both songs have been cleared, placed my order. *slow*
 
I fell in love with Alleluia immediately! :sohappy: It feels like such a grand, soaring song, like a bird bursting into the skies, soaring in the wide expanse of the heavens!

Can't wait to hear the full song! :)
 
I don't really like both songs from the samples :/ well, but it still can change like most other Kala songs, lol. :XD:

Alleluia...idk, because I'm really hoping for a ballad, it's quite disappointing. It's like generic Pentecostal church song + Mirai + Mune no Yukue...and it's somewhat no par with other KnK songs. Have to wait for the full version, though.

dolce - I really like that bell-chime-thingy in the end of the preview. have to wait for the full version, just like alleluia.

well, at least there are still seventh heaven - Kimi ga Hikari - fairytale live with strings, lol. :XD:

ah, today i unexpectedly had the chorus from alleluia stuck in my head while i was taking my 6-hour long exam.... it's way more catchy than i gave it credit, OTL
 
Hm, not sure how I feel about Alleluia. . . though it doesn't really matter since I'm pretty sure I'll end up liking it anyway xD

dolce on the other hand. . . I already love it :shy:

Immediately rather liking Alleluia though being that it is now the "final ending theme to KnK", a spot previously occupied by seventh heaven aka ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS, PERIOD... Yeah it doesn't quite compare. Still sounding pretty good though. And Keiko having solo-lines! Wonderful!
Dolce... Well it's okay.
 
I can't wait to listen to the full song. It's really really Kalafina-ish!
but you know, It's so sad but true that I can not imagine Kalafina without KnK. :leaf:

When I ordered from Amazon JP in the past, I received bonuses. At least, I received the postcards for the bluray of Vol.4 Live. But if it's only the select stores this time..

CD Japan is also listing the postcard. Hmm, I was planning to put in a bulk order with Amazon JP to save time and money. I wonder if it's worth placing a separate CD Japan order just to ensure I get the postcard...
