Kalafina new single"Alleluia"

^I am thinking of them in a church like setting again like they did for Toki no, it would be pretty. They should have black dresses.

Also as I commented before that is strange there is no instrumentals. *sigh* And yes, hatou, I completely agree they should make all the volumes into one, and also come out with a master cd collection. (But then I would die since I have no money right now.)
 
So stoked for this! I never cared for the instrumentals, to be honest (Storia being an exception)--they're not even very good to sing along to, due to the lack of background vocals. And then, every once in a while comes a song where I really want an instrumental (I'm looking at you, Manten) only for it to be a b-side and not get one...

Christmas lives are way better. I don't really mind the lack of video either, since I spend more time listening to music in the background than actively watching the thing.

Will definitely get the Limited Edition for the KnK bonuses, not to mention I prefer Fairytale and Kimi ga... over Seventh Heaven and Snow Falling. I'll probably skip the regular edition.

A bit sad there's no PV, but at least that makes the single cheaper to ship, lol.
 
^ I understand your opinion, but this is just a tactic to make people pay more for less, since most people will go buy both editions to get all live songs, while if they were using the "progressive" type of promotion (CD: title + b-side + instrumental + DVD: PV + Live performance) people would be buying only the LE and would get both the instrumentals AND the Live performanes in VIDEO http://canta-per-me.net/discography/progressive.

I always loved the instrumentals (especially Lacrimosa, Kagayaku, moonfesta), because they prove that Yuki is also a BGM composer, while if you go outside Japan most pop songs karaokes are unheardable, and I wouldnt mind if they were including the instrumentals for all the single's songs like they did for Hikari Furu.
 
Of course it's a promotional tactic. It's a business and they want to make the maximum amount of profit. I don't begrudge them that--I'd do the same thing.

True, our savings aren't endless. Of course it'll be better to have live performances + instrumentals for all songs + PV. But I don't feel entitled to having that--Kalafina will release what they'll release, and I'll buy it if I want to and can afford it. If I can't, well, I'm sad but I don't blame SME for trying to make money.

Furthermore, the Progressive situation is hardly the norm. Most often, we'd get only the a-side instrumental and maybe a PV. Compared to that, I much prefer getting the Christmas lives. I sympathize with those who'd want all four lives in the same edition (and I want the same thing myself, trust me), but again, it's a business.
 
I sincerely hope dolce is one of those experimental songs like adore/lirica. If it's another ballad (of any type), we're gonna be inundated with ballads. The Christmas live versions, while exciting, are already all slow ballads too.

personally, i actually like it because it's a shoutout to the beginning (oblivious). so it's basically a book-end for the last movie, which makes sense...

i bet that since they're most likely going ahead with a PV/photoshoot for your silver garden (seeing as how there's a DVD/blu-ray ed for that single), they didn't wanna spend more on having two in the same season...

What is this?? First you put this out as with only 2 editions, then you do away with the photoshoots... You want to earn more money while saving costs??

:knife: :knife: :knife: If it's like this for Alleluia, why didn't you just put the 2 together as some Double-A single? It may actually earn more and probably cost less that way! :uh..:

Alleluia's CM was shown during movie 7's TV screening. Twitter says the CM was instrumental only though. What a tease. Use the version that isn't in the release ._.

Anyway, keep your eyes out for it?

I will only forgive them if they include the instrumental inside the next single, like they did for oblivious (sprinter) and sprinter (fairytail), oh and there's the possibility that there wil lbe an instrumental edition inside the OST of the movie (but wont be exactly the same).
