I saw the brief clip of the live on the Kalafina Boston Documentary and I have been waiting patiently to see/hear this ever since the set list for the concert was posted! hopefully the mixing (and vocals) delivers.

How are you so sure that Maya's presence would have made that much of a difference? Because the way I saw it was that the recording OF that Anime Boston performance was atrocious because of bad equipment, compared to an ACTUAL DVD release.

Keiko did Maya's part? For some reason, I thought it'd be given to Wakana.

I have no illusions that the song won't sound strange since it's structure is for four part harmony (and of course, I'm used to hearing Maya in the recording) but it'll be sung in three part harmony. They probably had more than enough time to adjust just as long as it isn't a total fail I'll be satisfied because either way, these girls sing better than most of J-pop (and American pop for that matter).

The setlist is 10/10, althought I was REALLY hoping for Kagayaku sora live. Anyway, JCB HALL is a great venue and the dvd/bluray will be totally worth it. If I happen to have any money in a short future (which I doubt...! orz) I'll probably order it.

i hate it the most when i listen to a decent song and then when i listen to lives of the singer its horrible and atrocious, and to make it worse, retards on youtube going OMGTHEYSOAWESOME!

Yuki's singers have the distinction of being just about the only group i know where just about all their lives are as good or better than their recordings.

It is pretty much intact except Kagayaku. You can check because the Set List for the Concert and the Tracklist are the same.


A note on Keiko singing Maya's Part:
its probably because Wakana is usually the one singing the Kajiuran in the background, and Hikaru just had a long solo. The verse is more in Keiko's range except the lower notes.
