Kalafina Best album

That's the reason why I'm so surprised, in Paris she was so good!

If theres one thing I learnt, is that I shouldnt use videos to always judge them.Like I said before, I have never liked their nico nico recordings for their sound and microphone mixing. Unless the girls were sick or just tired of all the trips theyve been doing to market THE BEST, I am sure they are fine because Paris was 95% in tune , good harmnoies etc. From previous videos a part of me was slightly worried that maybe the nico nico videos was how they really sound but its not!!

@ PeachPitt321 Thanks for the link of the unboxing pics. Now I know what I am waiting for. My stuff is still in customs...

I just wish they had taken better care of Keiko's hair in the pics with the flowery dresses :TdT:. I wish I could see the neckline of Keiko's dress and the necklace (if it is a necklace :desksweat:). I would love to sew this one (finally they found the corsets again :cheer:), but now I am guessing what it looks like underneath Keiko's hair :rain:. Need more pics....

That Alleluia live is, uh... bad. I really like that song, too. But the audio levels are borked (in particular all the vocals are like 25~50% louder than they should be), Wakana sounds sick, Keiko's voice breaks a couple times. Hikaru changed her delivery of 'chiisa no inochi wo', but it's still not really enunciated clearly and doesn't flow quite right.
Actually between all 4 songs I think Alleluia is the most listenable. Keiko's voice breaks even in recording version but the studio process smoothen it but other than that she's spot on. Wakana is on/off in oblivious and both Hikaru and Wakana are off most time in storia. I don't know why Wakana uses her 2012-honky-pinched voice in this performance :(

Well, going with THE BEST theme - does anyone want 24bit 5.1 channel FLACs of Kalafina movie songs? 9xKnK(intros had to be edited on 3) and 3xMadoka that is. Nothing you can't make yourself from your BDs/other sources but ya, might as well ask.

I had a little time to spend so I visited the Oricon Style website...

^ The place is surprisingly high, considering there are only 2 new songs into the CDs, but looking at the other artists, I dont recoginse any of them.

^I wish I knew how!

Also, working on the scans, sorry! It's been crazy around here all of a sudden, so I haven't gotten to the Red's scans of the booklets. I will try and make them nicer, as I think I know how. Sorry again minna!

Already listened to Heavenly Blue, but I think I should comment in its own thread... Is it that no one has shared the 'Prelude' track or I couldn't find it when I dug into this thread..? :@_@:

I'm quite surprised as well that both version can make it in Top5, even they're just the Best Album Collection (Thanks to Aldnoah Zero&live video...?) Good news though.

D-lite is the solo debut name from a member of Big Bang which is a big boy band in K-pop..seems like K-pop still does well in Japan market...(but I think that it isn't like you'll see every single K-pop artist (whether they're famous or not) places in Top10 of Oricon chart any more...it happened a lot in the Kara-SNSD period.. I found that it's better now...=w=...) I don't know Team-H, but doesn't Tokio is one of a big band in J-pop O_O...? But they're quite old though..may be around my junior high school day.. (They're 90s band)

oh I see, thanks for the info~!
Prelude

The reason for the high place I can think of is that there were people that werent buying the respective releases in the past but were waiting for a release like that, or something :XD:, I mean they have done niconico events for previous releases too. Looks like that Sony's tactic of hiding the release of the heavenly blue single after its announcement, has paid off :))

2014/07/19 > Blue is 2nd and Red is 4th.
The name of Tokio band is not unknown to me too, even if I just do not know what it is about.

Really am sorry minna, now the scans will have to wait till Monday since tomorrow I will get gone all day and going to bed pretty soon because of that and I am so tired. Or you can have someone else scan the Red's booklet inside the cd case.

Oricon ranking for 07/19 : Blue is 3rd, Red stays at 4th rank! Now it's quite obvious that they'll both rank in the 5 top albums in the weekly charts! :plz:

07/20 : Blue is down at 6th rank, Red at 7th rank. They got outpassed by: Oda Kazumasa (???), Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi with a best album too, and Chris Hart. I think we can say that the Oricon charts are not very competitive this week, which may explain why our albums rank so well.

^Hmm...very possible. It's still good to see them doing so well though. It means they're officially "top ten albums" now doesn't it? I'm not sure whether that's as much of a big deal in Japan as elsewhere, but in our part of the world it's something to celebrate! :cheer:

^Yeah, I would celebrate! I mean, if I had an album in the top ten I would be thrilled!

Okay, but what about the scans of the extra sheets that come in them? The ones that say FictionJunction Club on it, like that, should I still scan those?

^ not necessary unless they advertise some new live or release we dont know yet about :)

The Kalafina blog in "The Best" uniform XD I love how they choose CPM's site colours :dote: :XD:
