Kalafina official HP has been updated.
Now we can see a part of symphonia PV.

Okay, my entire post just flew chirping out the window because I realize that the different picture comes with the RE :fwa:

So let me get this straight. You buy the RE, the cheaper one, and you get a picture with new dresses and different hairstyles. You buy the LE, the more expensive one, and you get the same picture that's on the CD cover.

What happened? Did Quark give control of Sony to Rom?*

*Star Trek: DS9 reference...Quark was the profit-obsessed Ferengi, and Rom was his more generous brother. :ohoho:

Really, how many of you are willing to put the mousepad to practical use and risk rubbing the picture away? :ayashii:

I'm not going to. I'll scan/take a photo of the picture and file it away with my pamphlets :plot:

Going to look, thanks!

EDIT

Coincidentally, on their website it says "Kagayaku sora no Shijima ni wa", "Magia", AND "Symphonia" under the LE. Does this mean that the DVD will have all three PVs?

Eheh...knowing me, everyone probably knows that already and I missed it :spotlight:

Wakana, Keiko, Hikaru, vast green field, little boy running. Doesn't seem like anything out of ordinary.

^ You found it? I can't find it anywhere :uh..:

Could you direct me to it, please? :plz:

I've been using the same mousepad for five years and it's not rubbed the picture away at all, so I'd probably use it. Besides, it'd be a waste if I didn't.

Still... I wouldn't mind just looking at it, either. :shy:

Is that so... :ayashii: EDIT: I wasn't disappointed; this PV makes no sense, either. I can never figure out what the hell is going on in any of them and IT IS GLORIOUS. I just like them looking pretty, ahah;;~

I'm not complaining! :ohoho:

@KP-X: Well, that's what I did...it must be that little window that says 'After Eden - Kalafina' on the bottom right of the picture. That's been sitting there for the past five minutes and nothing's happened...

Eh, I guess I'll wait for the full version :ohoho: :TdT:

I've been using mine for about the same amount of time, and the corners have started wearing away to white, since I have very acidic hands. So I'll definitely refrain from using it at all. "It might be a collector's item someday," as a friend of mine would say :plot:

Neither am I, I'm just shocked! :sohappy:

Just saw the mousepads. I prefer the LE one, but I'll gladly accept the RE one :XD: And yes, I'm going to use it! lol

@ninetales
That's strange. It opened right away here.

^ It's probably my computer or my internet. There are few sites that for some reason don't load properly at home, while elsewhere they're fine. But I don't mind, since at least Youtube works :ohoho:

little boy running.

Maybe he's lost... in a... maize... :ohoho: :ohoho: :ohoho: I'm sorry. I made an awful pun.

I think you have to press play, 'cause that's what I had to do.

Eh, I guess I'll wait for the full version :ohoho: :TdT:

I can't wait. I love watching the PVs of the songs if just for the outfits; the gypsy outfits and the gypsy parade and the gypsy house in "storia" and the Belgian/Holland-ish colourful outfits of "Hikari no Senritsu", for example.

"Kagayaku Sora no Shijima ni ha" is my favourite so far, just for the fact that Hikaru ends up in a coal mine or something. And then Keiko and Wakana leave her in a burning house at the end. It makes no sense at all, so it's fun to think up stories about them. :ohoho:

Acidic hands? That sounds kind of like a superpower, a little.

Never thought of it that way...I was just trying to figure out where they were, and also trying not to cry at the gorgeous harmonies :touched:

My favorite is pretty much Progressive, because there's MOVEMENT in it. Plus they all look beautiful and I love the lighting :shy:

Magia has slightly grown on me, but it's still very freaky sometimes, and a little uninspired. (i.e., what do they do pretty much the entire time in the room with the billowing fabric? The girls of Kala stand there, and the camera zooms in and out. And then it pans in and zooms out to warp the background. And then it pans out and zooms in to warp the background. And then it zooms in and out. And in and out...)

I suppose. As far as I know, it's because I'm fair and sensitive-skinned. But although I can eventually wear away pieces of paper (I tend to erode the end of my desktop calendar by the end of every month), I can't burn through metal. Yet. :ohoho:

Re: Re:

I don't know, then. :confu: Well, they're just singing in a field. In pretty dresses. Being pretty.

Never thought of it that way...I was just trying to figure out where they were, and also trying not to cry at the gorgeous harmonies :touched:

First they're in a cave, then Hikaru is walking down a corridor for some reason, then there're candles everywhere, then it starts to rain in the cave, then they're in a cove... Then they're stood in a house with the sky in it, however impossible that is, then Hikaru is in a coal mine on her own, then they're in a valley, then they're in a field (they always end up in a field!) and they're singing into the sky, and then they're back in the house with the sky in it except the sky is on fire. And Keiko and Wakana leave Hikaru in it.

The only thing that I can conclude is that it's telling two stories at the same time;

Keiko, Hikaru and Wakana are law enforcement officers in the Victorian era, except Hikaru is corrupt and is stealing coal from a nearby mine to sell at inordinate prices to other towns, since the Victorian era's economy was coal-based, pretty much, and there's good money to be made in being a corrupt officer selling coal.

But then Wakana and Keiko see Hikaru walking down to the coal mine and stealing coal, so they lock her in there and Hikaru is like OMG WHY because before that they were good friends who went and hung out in... caves and fields together because spelunking was a good hobby of theirs.

So they're all singing sadly in the rain because their time as FRIENDS is over and they decide that the best way to punish Hikaru is to burn her in a house on her own like a piece of coal, so they take her down to the sky-house and they're like HIKARU, LOOK, THERE'S THE SKY OUTSIDE THIS DOOR and she's like "well yeah because it leads outside, duh".

And then Hikaru thinks that Keiko and Wakana presumably have an appointment with JUSTICE to keep because they start leaving and Hikaru is there like :| GUYS WHERE ARE YOU GOING WAIT FOR ME but they lock the door so she's just like OH.

What have I created. :...:

My favorite is pretty much Progressive, because there's MOVEMENT in it. Plus they all look beautiful and I love the lighting :shy:

I don't think I've seen "progressive"'s video... :confu:

Magia has slightly grown on me, but it's still very freaky sometimes, and a little uninspired. (i.e., what do they do pretty much the entire time in the room with the billowing fabric? And then it zooms in and out. And in and out...)

"magia" is the only PV I've not been able to create a story for because of that. I did like that church thing that Hikaru was looking very dead in, though! The architecture was lovely.

Uh... Uh... I have good pain tolerance...? I don't have anything as awesome-sounding as that, but promise to remember me when you're rich from robbing banks with your acid hands?

:ohoho:

^What is this, you create stories for the pvs since they themselves don't have one? :XD:

Well, I think it's the first Kalafina video to feature someone else besides them (puppet rabbits/fishes/butterflies don't count). :XD:

What is this, you create stories for the pvs since they themselves don't have one?

Maybe they do, but we'll never know. What I wouldn't give for an understandable briefing on Sprinter's plot. :XD:

I can't see the symphonia PV either. For some reason, I'm getting the Magia preview instead.

What I wouldn't give for an understandable briefing on Sprinter's plot. :XD:

They're ghosts! I'll re-watch it and think up a more detailed one later. :ohoho:

^Please do, so maybe I won't think of sprinter as one of the worst pvs ever made anymore :XD:

^ I'm sure you'll think it's even worse when I'm finished mangling it with my interpretations. :ohoho: But it's fun to think up situations for the PVs, even if they make even less sense than the original material.
