Me too. I will have to watch the clips shortly. But I'll hopefully be able to not listen to the samples if there are any, of the other songs. :dote:

The only thing that I can conclude is that it's telling two stories at the same time;

Keiko, Hikaru and Wakana are law enforcement officers in the Victorian era, except Hikaru is corrupt and is stealing coal from a nearby mine to sell at inordinate prices to other towns, since the Victorian era's economy was coal-based, pretty much, and there's good money to be made in being a corrupt officer selling coal.

But then Wakana and Keiko see Hikaru walking down to the coal mine and stealing coal, so they lock her in there and Hikaru is like OMG WHY because before that they were good friends who went and hung out in... caves and fields together because spelunking was a good hobby of theirs.

So they're all singing sadly in the rain because their time as FRIENDS is over and they decide that the best way to punish Hikaru is to burn her in a house on her own like a piece of coal, so they take her down to the sky-house and they're like HIKARU, LOOK, THERE'S THE SKY OUTSIDE THIS DOOR and she's like "well yeah because it leads outside, duh".

And then Hikaru thinks that Keiko and Wakana presumably have an appointment with JUSTICE to keep because they start leaving and Hikaru is there like :| GUYS WHERE ARE YOU GOING WAIT FOR ME but they lock the door so she's just like OH.

What have I created. :...:

:XD:

What's more, your idea makes a lot of sense! :goodjob:

I don't think I've seen "progressive"'s video... :confu:

Here you are! Get it before Sony does :leaf:

"magia" is the only PV I've not been able to create a story for because of that. I did like that church thing that Hikaru was looking very dead in, though! The architecture was lovely.

I liked it too. Got a good chance to see it because of all the random "Hey, let's play around with the focus on this cool new camera!" shots of windows and such :ohoho:

Uh... Uh... I have good pain tolerance...? I don't have anything as awesome-sounding as that, but promise to remember me when you're rich from robbing banks with your acid hands?

:XD:

Well, finally got to see the PV clip. So here we have a song that sounds as though there should be regiments of Napoleon-era soldiers marching through the field, and instead...we......have.........*snores* :uh..:

But if that's not Koichi-san's guitar on the left channel, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS. I'd be shocked if he didn't replace the original guitarist for the full version :stars:

Plus, Kala looks gorgeous in general. Love the Greek-inspired dresses, long and flowing... :shy:

Just watched the clip, I love their outfits. I think I'll like this PV but I was kind of hoping they'd be in more of a longer wheat field setting. Who was that running in the beginning? heh

You think so? :sparkleguy:

SONY enjoys taking things down, don't they? It's a shame they don't feel the way about PRICES! :anger:

:shy: They all look lovely! Ahh~ so much Keiko~

I don't even have a camera, so I don't know how you'd play around with the focus. :ohoho:

They're clearly The Erinyes mixed with elements of the banshee, or The Moirae at the very least! The little boy must've stolen some bread and they're singing to warn him of their coming.

:sparkleguy:

Yup :innocent:

On my camera, there's a little joystick thingy that you use to adjust all sorts of things. You move it left to right to adjust the focus...so apparently the cameraman was just whipping that joystick around in some of the shots :ohoho:

Oh no, Evil Kala...

What if they're the Muses, and the little boy is young Homer? He's running around acting out stories, and they're singing to inspire him :stars: Just ignore his European costume, and you're all set :XD:

Well, thank you. :shy:

Oh no, Evil Kala...

The Erinyes and the Moirae aren't evil! They're wholly impartial; the former exacting punishment for wrongdoings and the latter measuring out a person's lifespan and events that happen in it.

Aren't there nine Muses? :confu: If I remember correctly, they are; Calliope of epic poetry, Clio of history, Polyhymnia of mime, Euterpe of the flute, Terpsichore of light verse and dance, Erato of light poetry, Melpomene of tragedy, Thalia of comedy and Urania of astronomy?

Besides, he looks more like an Ovid to me. :plot:

Oh, I see. But...I can't picture Keiko being impartial :ayashii:

Yup, there are nine Muses...I forgot about that, thanks for reminding me :ohoho:

Well, maybe they're some of the Muses...Clio, Euterpe, and Calliope, perhaps?

Just be glad I'm not ruining all the pictures with my stories, too. I've done that on tumblr many, many times.

:ohoho:

...Well, she maybe is a little too enthusiastic about the job, then. :sparkleguy:

Yup, there are nine Muses...I forgot about that, thanks for reminding me :ohoho:

I love history and anything related to it, so... I jump at the chance to mention what I know about it.

Well, maybe they're some of the Muses...Clio, Euterpe, and Calliope, perhaps?

Would Hikaru be Calliope and Keiko Euterpe? :confu: Wakana is definitely Clio, since she loves prehistoric things, right?

^ Well, I was thinking more in line of the song, actually. There's a historical aspect to the lyrics and plus it's the theme of RHH, it's a very epic song, and plus there are flute solos :XD:

But then again, Hikaru is always very dramatic, especially when she's singing live, so I suppose she could be Calliope or maybe Melpomene. I think Wakana as Clio is perfect.

And as for Keiko...for some reason I'm thinking Terpsichore :ayashii:

^ Ahhh! I thought you meant... Yeah, haha! :ohoho:

And as for Keiko...for some reason I'm thinking Terpsichore :ayashii:

Well, watching her perform live always cheers me up, so maybe Thalia for me. :sparkleguy:

This has gone a little off-topic, like all threads I comment in. :knife:

^ Maybe all three of them can do triple duty as Muses. Let's see...
Wakana:
1. Clio, because she likes prehistoric things.
2. Melpomene, because Kajiura-sensei apparently said once that her voice is perfect for tragic songs.
3. Calliope, because her voice is EPIC.
Keiko:
1. Terpsichore, because she dances a lot in lives.
2. Thalia, because she's a little silly sometimes.
3. Erato, because...I don't know...
Hikaru:
1. Polyhymnia, because she tends to do some miming in lives. See the Fairytale and Lacrimosa choreography for details.
2. Euterpe, because...I also don't know...
3. Urania, because she looks to the sky a lot when singing.

Our lovely Muses, here to inspire us with their beautiful voices :shy:

I actually don't think this is very off-topic...after all, they're wearing Greek-style dresses in the Symphonia PV, and the PV comes with the LE of After Eden, and this is the After Eden topic... :plot:

That sounds perfect to me! :sparkleguy: But with the little mask I think the boy is wearing, it looks suspicious, so I do think that it'd be more fitting if they were actually The Erinyes to him but The Muses to us. We'll have to wait for more of the PV to see!

:ohoho:

Well, maybe I can see a correlation, if I squint.

Ahh, I can't wait for the actual CD to arrive, though. Even if I don't get the free mousepad because I skimped on shipping fees by ordering with YesAsia. I'm glad my mom finally let me buy something of theirs, ahah.

Will "symphonia" be the only PV with the Limited Edition...? :confu:

^ I was wondering that myself. I mentioned before that on the official site, I saw the titles of Kagayaku, Magia, and Symphonia below the LE picture...but on a second look it seemed to me as though it was just a note saying that all three songs would be on the album.

Come to think of it, I think it's been officially announced that the DVD will have the Symphonia PV, the Anime Expo documentary, and nothing else.

...Yup, that's confirmed from an old newspost. As usual, next to nothing on the DVD :leaf:

i love the Post Card, good job including it in since Magia is a big hit.what a marketing strategy!

Maybe the documentary will be long, with footage LOTS of the concert (and everyone's idol, Kowz :idol: )

Higher rez covers on their blog as usual (sans Magia). I'm not hotlinking from the source so they don't notice the increased bandwith, lol.

Still liking the LE though I don't really understand the random out of focus/blurred areas...
