Finally, I'm done..!!! It's contained so many opinions of my owns.. Feel free to correct me if I misunderstood Yuki's speech during her talk.

[Fanaccount] 120630 Yuki&FictionJunction concert

I'll gave the detailed info for the songs that haven't released as live DVD yet. Even the setlist sounds disappointed for fans who can manage to go to YK live again and again, it's a fresh experience for foreign fans who haven't had those chances before. It's reasonable to think that it's their first live oversea as well.

My seat was in 200 golden zone and it's the one next to the aisle. From my seat, I saw KonnoSan in the middle..such an awesome seat for his fangirl..!!! lol.

1. The Beginning of the End
Wakana came out alone at the start and sang Eri's vocal part. I think that it's the extended one because I couldn't realize at first that it's The Beginning of the End and it sounds longer than Eri's part in the original.

At that time, I was like 'Oh..!! They sang OST..!! It isn't just FictionJunction songs as I supposed..!!' and it can't help that I cried..it's more than what I expected before...TwT..

All musicians including Yuki came out later and Wakana went to the backstage. They played partial instrumental part of the song and it sounds great even without real orchestra..!!

2. The Battle is to the Strong
Wakana came back to the stage with all vocalists. The main vocals are Yuriko and Wakana. Yuriko sang the highest part, and next are Wakana and Kaori, resp. Kaori is the main chorus while Keiko joined the lowest chorus only in some parts of the song. Korenaga's solo was awesome..^ ^.

3. The Image Theme of XenosagaII
At the beginning, the order of the pitch from highest to lowest is from Wakana->Yuriko->Kaori->Keiko, and Yuriko is the main vocal. When the song changed to the faster part, it became the duet of Kaori (main) and Keiko (chorus).

The first solo part belonged to Wakana with Keiko on the chorus. Kaori and Yuriko were the duo on the repeated chant. These two tookover the second solo part from Wakana&Keiko for a while and it went back to Wakana-Keiko again. Kaori&Yuriko still did the chant.

During this song, it seemed that KonnoSan had some problem with his earphone or his violin. I saw he did sth. with his headset.

Talk 1
It's Yuki who greeted us in English. She introduced all vocalists and musicians and ended with 'and oh..I'm Yuki Kajiura' (Seems like it's already her trademark..lol.)

Yuriko and Keiko introduced themselves in English while Wakana and Kaori said in Japanese. Kaori said 'Konnichiwa' (Good afternoon) instead of 'Konbangwa' (Good evening)..it's almost 8 pm already...lol.

il0vesunfl0wers and Blacksword already told us how Yuki described the girls' voices. Yuki also talked about the songs they had sung before and she couldn't remember from which anime 'The Beginning of the End' and 'the Battle is to the strong' come..then some fan in the hall shouted 'Fate Zero!' and she's 'Oh..it's Fate Zero'..lol.

4. Vanity
Keiko sounds really awesome. I feel that Wakana's legato (holding long&smooth note) was shorter than it should be. However, the overall performance sounds ok.

I sang along with them in almost every song, mostly in Wakana&Kaori range, so you can say that I 'measure' their legato with my own lung capacity. Kaori&I always ended our legato at the same time while Wakana usually ended quite earlier than me.

It wasn't like she's out of breathe and stopped it in the middle, but it sounds like she intended to keep it short even she's able to extend it. So I guessed that Yuki or Wakana herself may plan ahead to 'shorten' her legato to save her from tiredness.

What bothered me during this song is the difference between the power of Wakana's and Keiko's voices. There was a part that is supposed to be their duet, with Wakana as the main voice and Keiko as the chorus, but Keiko's singing was so powerful that her part dominated Wakana's part.

I won't blame anyone because it sounds so impossible that Wakana could dominate Keiko by her own strength. But I hope that Yuki will come up with some trick to deal with this problem...

5. Liminallity
Not many things to say about this live. Wakana did a good job but it isn't the best, comparing to the previous lives.

6. In the Land of Twilight, Under the Moon
So energetic..^ ^.. It's one of my fav. Yuki's English songs and I enjoyed with the live so much.

7. Hanamori no Oka
At this point, I was like 'Ah..it isn't a Japanese sealed concert...' lol. Kaori's singing was cool and emotional, but it wasn't as powerful as I supposed. Besides, her voice sounds so crisper and thinner than I expected, even crisper than Hikaru's recorded voice, but not as much as Yuuka's.

I don't know whether it's studio magic, Kaori's health issue, or her voice just changed when the time goes by. (It happened to Yuuka and some female singers I know as well. Their voices tend to be crisper when they grow older and it's already 2-3 years since the last YK live release.) Please note that what I talked about is just the change of her voice characteristic, not the quality of her singing. Kaori is still a veteran and consistent one.

8. Parallel hearts
Nothing to say about the girls...KonnoSan was too awesome to take my eyes off of him..>///////<. The performance is...well...not bad but not outstanding.

9. Salva Nos
Sorry again..I was too obsessed in the violin...Orz.., his solo was fantastic..!! The girls sounded really good as well. I guessed that they cut off Korenaga's guitar solo in this song.., right..?

Talk 2
The last episode of Fate Zero was aired on that day, so Yuki asked whether we watched it. She said that she really enjoyed it but it's too heavy, and finally it 'End In Peace'. (Well...what if she used 'Rest' instead of 'End'...perfect description...lol.)

She talked about Sword Art Online and she said that she enjoyed composing OST for this show. But she couldn't play it in this concert, and she may play it next year.

She said that it's so different from Fate Zero and so interesting because the main character is a young boy. (Let me remind you that she also said in the panel that Fate Zero is a kind of 'Old Man Fantasy'..well...Kiritsugu...you're too old in Yuki's eye...??? lol.)

Yuki introduced the new single of FJ and she said 'Destination' instead of 'Distance' so many times...lol. At the end, Yuki also said sth. about Madoka movie as well. (She composed OST for it again..??)

10. Sis Puella Magica
When Yuki introduced the song, she said that she would pronounce the song title in the proper way..correct Latin pronunciation..?? maybe...but it sounds different from common English... The opening was violin voice from KonnoSan...so moving..>____<.

Yuriko took the main role in this song with Kaori as the lower chorus. Wakana and Keiko joined later, did the highest&lowest chorus part, respectively. During the flute part, the camera focused on KonnoSan from the flute part to the strings part, which I believed that both parts were prerecorded. I think it's the cameraman fault and Konno himself looked uncomfortable with the issue.

The extended part leaded by Wakana with Keiko as the chorus. It gradually turned to the original last part of the song, with Yuriko (lead) and Kaori (chorus), and Wakana+Keiko just joined in the middle. The song ended by Yuriko.

Wakana legato was longer after the second talk and it sounds almost as good as her voice in the old days..., just noticeably weaker than it used to be. So I tend to believe that Wakana intended to shorten her legato to save her energy for the second half of the concert.

Personally, I feel that Yuriko's and Eri's voice are too much different. It'd be more similar to the original if Wakana was the main vocal, but I love this version as well.

11. Forest
For me, it sounds better than the one that we already have on CD..(Live 3..??) Wakana did a good job.

12. Credens Justitiam
At first, when the song started, I wrote 'Voyag...' and then 'Oh no..!! It's Mami's song!!' lol. KonnoSan walked out during the song. I don't know whether he really had a problem with his devices or he tried to keep the cameraman from the 'flute issue' mistake. Wakana was the main vocalist while Yuriko took the higher chorus part. Kaori and Keiko took the lower chorus.

13. Himeboshi
Wakana's falsetto sounds so thin here...

14. Duran Shoukan
Yuriko and Keiko duet for the intro (as main&lower chorus respectively.) Then it became Wakana&Yuriko. Kaori took the main role of the next part when Yuriko&Keiko took the repeated chants. They had Bass solo...hoorey..!! The song ended with Yuriko&Keiko on the chant.

15. Mezame
KonnoSan was back..!!! And I could say that after a short break during Duran Shoukan, Wakana was almost perfect here..!!

16. Stone Cold
Kaori looks so cool..!! I think that she was the most energetic singer on the stage..!! (I was so curious when I thought back about some fanaccount saying that Keiko was the most energetic one. BTW, maybe because I didn't pay much attention on Keiko's appearance on that night...Orz. Keiko's singing was so awesome that I rarely notice how she looked and moved.)

KonnoSan was away again. Yuki sang chorus (not sure which parts). She and Yuriko sounds so awesome at live without the filter. (Yuriko's kajiurago was so fantastic..!!) Kaori took the first part of the last hook for Wakana.

Besides Yuki's&Yuriko's singing, I wasn't much appreciated in this song. Kaori&Wakana who are the lead singers sounded so weak and I barely heard them. To think that Wakana sang so much during Mai-Hime medley, it's reasonable that she would be tired, but Kaori was also in the same par as her... Comparing to another FJ 4-formation song like Parallel Hearts, this one was worse than the other.

17. Zodiacal Sign
Personally, I can't tell what went wrong, but there was sth. weird in the key of the whole song..Orz... But it kept better and better and I can enjoy with the song.

Talk 3
Yuki said that time flies, and the next would be the last song, 'Open your Heart'. She asked us to open our heart and listen.

18. Open your Heart
The song itself wasn't that touching..., but the lyrics may have so many means for Yuki herself. KonnoSan seemed so enjoyable with the song. He waved his violin bow when the girls waved their hands..lol. Many fans also waved their hands with them.

Encore

19. The World
Awesome Keiko..!! Now I understand that why people love her live singing so much..!! It's so energetic, enthusiastic, and fantastic..!! The awesome ending song indeed..!!

Talk 4
Yuki said that she was very moved when she saw us waving our hands in 'Open your Heart', and we moved her heart as well. We also 'Open her Heart'. Yuki thanked all vocalists and musicians, one by one, and at last, it's Wakana who asked everyone to thank Yuki herself. They took the photo with fans at the end..^___^.

こんにちは/konnichiwa is a greeting and means hello as well as good afternoon lol...they meant hello :XD:

Yes thank you. I was dying with envy in reading it, but since I have already complained enough that I wasn't there I will stop. heh But I would have been fixed on Konno too, since I am a huuuuge fan of his as well. :dote: I wish they would sing other songs as well like red rose and the place of eternity and maybe some ones we don't get to hear that often. And does her saying she'll have a song next year mean she'll be in LA or Boston again next year? I hope I hope.

Yea, the beginning, during this part:

Code:
salam nama namiyai
lam namaiya yanamalama
salamiya yam na malalaya
yam namanna ya la arama
It was quite different from what I have heard from the other LIVE version.
But, when it came to:
Code:
yeyila iikos amayi
yemila iinos amayi
meyila iinos amayi diya
and the rest of the song after that part, it was not different from the other LIVE version.

NICE REPORT.!! it seems that it's really fun to watch Yuki perform and talk. ^_^

Added the reports log on the first post of the thread too for convinient, and will keep it up to date :)

Wow! Thanks to everyone for their reports!!! :dote: :shy:

I want a DVD too (and a new FJ Album)! :comeback:

Oh...that's why.... I think Yuuka used Konbangwa and thought that Ohayo/Konnichiwa/Konbangwa has the specific time to use like Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening in English....so Konnichiwa is different... :XD:

Who knows....I think almost all artists tend to say that, even they didn't know whether they could come back...but let's hope... :dote:

what did kaori mean by accident?
Hmm...I don't know...- -"....besides Konno's issue and the fact that the Wakana&Kaori sounded a bit weak in some songs.., anything else was just fine... Oh wait... She may mean the almost-one-hour-delay of the concert..:confu:

^As far as I know, "konnichiwa" is indeed "good afternoon" and that only, not a general "hello". Maybe one of the Japanese users could clarify that :confu:

^ like i said before, konnichiwa is indeed a hello/hi as well as good afternoon lol

Loving the reports. I would add my own report, but I don't think I have anything real interesting to say. I loved the whole concert and I wish I could relive it. Unfortunately I didn't get to go to the autograph session since I went to AX with friends, and they wanted to do other things in LA.

Though I do remember I was right behind FJ as they were about to walk into their panel room. I called out to Keiko and she looked back, but she was quickly ushered into the room and she didn't see me :uh..:
