Keiko's voice is a strong alto, sometimes doing tenor and baritone.

AX Live Recap

Kajiura & FictionJunction's live starts from around 8:40 so you can skip straight to that mark to watch their performance.

Thanks Keiri! Ugh, the reporter pronounced Yuki's last name wrong, or slurred it together. She shouldn't have been talking during the live clip either. But other than that... I think the first two songs were kind of meh actually, and my favorite was actually vanity, Wakana had awesome English and so did the others. I liked how Yuriko had most of the 'la la la' parts. heh in the land of twilight was okay too. The others were all right. I wanted to hear stone cold though. *sigh* Guess we'll have to wait for a dvd if any.

Whoah whoah whoah Arigatou! Keiri!!! :sohappy:
I really think they did great from that short vid :dote:
I think i figured out Wakana's problem... She always sound great when she is singing her normal range but the moment when she goes into the high notes she is like straining and straining.. :XD: She is probably not relaxing her neck muscles when she is sing the high notes...I don't know if u guys realised but often during the high notes and when Wakana trying to reach it...she often stretch her neck so much that you can literally see her veins at her necks? I saw that during Red Moon and Ongaku Kajiuran parts at After Eden Live DVD. My teacher always tell me when reaching the high notes...the last thing u want to do is tense up ( and i still do it once in awhile leading to awfully strained notes) :omg:

I like how Yuriko and Kaori sound and especially at In the Land of Twilight :dote: And there was also a new Guitar solo which was absolutely fabulous! :ayashii:
>No Sis Puella Magica
>No Credens Justitiam

Damn it...i was dying to hear that!!! Sis Puella is like my Fav Fav fav soundtrack!

Wow you can actual tell all the voices, its not like in the DVDs where they are mixed when they sing together :dote: Thanks Keiri :sohappy:

The "the battle is to the strong" sound awesome live :dote: :nosebleed:

Those bastards put in the video mostly already released in DVDs songs :desksweat:

At the girl before they the show performance: Good job showing us only the songs you were expecting :uh..: :XD:

:tea:

a very short preview of image theme of xenosaga II :sohappy: :sohappy:

the bgm played after the concert preview was "believe" from TRC, no?
didn't even sing something from that series

WOW!!! Thanks a lot for the video!!! They were really really GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: I want a DVD!! :dote: :dote:

fantastic.

kaori's a little on the loud side though. i think she overpowered the main chorus for a few parts. must be the sound system. xD

DARN NEED MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Thanks for the video. :sohappy:

Hmm, the sound in that video is a lot horrible than the actual concert heard from the front rows.

Yea, all the AX staffs pronounced the first "a" in Kajiura as "a" in apple. :uh..:

When I heard them shouting to tell people to line up from outside the building, at first, I was like "Yuki Keji... what??" because I always pronounce the "a"s in Kajiura as "a" in altruism or waaaaaa! :XD:

^Lol I wanted to slap her, it's like when people pronounce manga wrong. Ugh.

Yuki watching the video: Wait, is that how my last name is?

lol

^ They are just people that have no idea about Kajiura and her works, and that is also shown by what the woman says into the video before the sample of "vanity" is shown, that they "performed songs from anime that brought us to tears" while vanity is not from an anime lol

Would you say their singing sounded better live then? I think that video really draws attention to some of their off moments.

@george: Then she should have at least did a little bit of research, I would have if I was doing a segment anyways... I usually don't have much to gripe about heh
