Thoughts whilst watching: Ha! :ohoho: She doesn't hold a candle to The Hikaru when it comes to gazing intently/angstily into the camera :plot: :plot: :ohoho:

I bet she's not even trying...her goal is more to look "cute" than to interpret the song, I guess :imdead:

Final thoughts: definitely want a Keiko/Kaori cover, maybe add in some Yuriko/Wakana kajiurago since there isn't any in this version
Or if Kalafina cover it, Keiko/Hikaru cover + Wakana kajiurago :sohappy:

I was just about to say that I would want FJ better than Kala, but then I imagined Hikaru singing the chorus and it seemed amazing in my mind. Now I'm undecided (like if that would make any difference, though :XD: :imdead:)

^Keiko is my first choice for this cover, but when read your comment, I think it will be awesome if Hikaru uses the singing style like in Sandpiper and Neverending to cover this song... :shy: , but I also want to hear Keiko&Kaori version....can we have a trio cover... :dote: ...(Just my dream....lol.)

Haruna's singing aside, I still can't shake off the impression that the verse and the chorus are from two different songs or something :XD: I don't know why but that first transition from the verse to the chorus still makes me go "Wait - what?! The song switched! Oh, no it didn't..."
The same goes to me...because of the key change..?? (also feel the same in Manten.)

Because my first impression when I hear her voice is sandpiper's Hikaru, I think Hikaru and Keiko cover can't be so bad. Although I prefer Keiko and Kaori or Keiko alone...

And Equalizer is gonna make a big fuzz over this.LOL

I agree with everyone who says the song doesn't have much emotion from Luna's voice
But, for some reason, I can't get the song out of my head.... :confu: :XD:
And I do like the PV ♪ I wonder if she's been making spells with the contents of those random jars fufufu Like in Fate/Zero

I only like the refrain. The song itself is somehow distorted. Like two songs were mixed together. You know, by the refrain, we could expect how will the bridge come and so on. But I have mixed feelings about the song, if it's like this. Not to mention, the covers are cheap. :desksweat:

@elcazador THANK YOU SO MUCH! :XD:
I like "LOVE TEARS"~Haruna's voice is better here~ :shy:

Re: Haruna Luna "Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau" (Fate/Zero ED2

Mine was shipped, I will wait until I get it to listen. But I want to hear Love Tears. :dote:

Thanks for the link. Well, the song by Yuki is a masterpiece compared to the other 2 songs :uh..:

Her voice is indeed better in Love Tears. The song isn't bad, but nothing out of ordinary. It is catchy, to some extent.

Thanks for the link!

The song is really good, although Yuki would likely make a more impressive bridge. And I think I start understanding the complaints about lack of emotion - in the lower parts of the second verse, it kinda seemed like Haruna was humming the lyrics rather than singing them. Which would work well in many other songs, but not in something as Iri-centric as this. :uh..:

As to the PV, the footage becomes a bit repetitve after a while, but I like the general concept and all the quirks with paintings and such. Wish Kalafina PV directors would take some notes here. :ayashii:

Don't care for I WANNA Denji Teki DO, but Love Tears isn't bad, and a better fit for her voice. More emotion and color there than in the A-side...

Thanks elcazador!!

Sora wa Takaku sounds nice in high quality :dote:

about the b-sides, I was expecting them far worse that they turned out, they are listenable (unlike some other artists) and LOVE TEARS has a catchy melody and I like Haruna's voice in it, its sounds something between Keiko and Kaori (or Kaori singing using Keiko's voice) :XD:

Eh, I like this song much more than ttb and Manten. And the PV is totally nice, although Haruna should learn how to put an angsty expression from Hikaru and how to move her hands from Keiko. Her voice is kinda like Yuuka now for me, the way they use their vibrato and handle their lower notes, is totally alike for me :XD:

FJ cover is totally wanted :dote:

They should make a PV like this for Kala... and actually the song too, LOL

Wohoooo, i listened to the Album
well i really liked Love Tears, but i felt in the whole album, it is actually the nicest song! :wash: I felt that she sang that song with more emotions than Sora wa Takaku. :knife:
Also i felt that she sounds better especially during the higher parts in the chorus. She was actually using her HEAD voice instead of the her breathy tone that she used to sing Sora wa Takaku :dote:
I think my impression of her is slightly changed... :ayashii:
I think with proper guidance and mentor-ship from Kalafina and Yuki sama,
i think she can emerge a very good singer.
One thing i have to praise her for though :shy:
Like Keiko, i really like how she sounds when she sings the low notes, there is this strong yet gentle feel about it (i think this is the what Yuki sama referred to as having presence in her voice :dote: )

Yep, Haruna should totally take tips from Hikaru when it comes to acting out emotions in PVs.
:nophoto:
If glares could kill... :hide:

My opinion about SoraKaze is pretty much the same as everyone else's. Love the song but Haruna's singing didn't bring out much of the emotional aspects of it. She does have potential though if she polishes her skills more. Just that for now, she fell short of delivering Kajiura's song for me. If anything, the song eclipsed her singing. And yeah, Love Tears is much more fitting. :XD:

As for the PV, odd it is that despite how static most of the scenes look in general, I found it more interesting than TTB's - composition, direction, framing, the lot of it. The Kala PV team should take note. :ohoho:
