^ Congrats! :shy: Report back to us when you finish listening and tell us how they are! :dote:

(and wow...isn't that quite early, considering the release date's tomorrow? :ayashii: :goodjob: )

Because my country is quite near Japan so I think they shipped my copy quite early :ohoho:
I would say that I really like Keiko line in both song and the Kajiuran in Distance. :XD:
I like the violin, the e.guitar and piano in eternal blue.

^ Ahh, you're so lucky :XD: I'm glad Keiko got some lines...and kajiuran in distance? Sounds good :waii: :waii:

Mine came today! :sohappy:
Distance: The first thought when those strings started was Stargate! lol But I really like it. It is very similar to manten, as some have said. But I think it has its own feel to it. The strings are just awesome. Listening to the instrumental now. It's soft at times and then gets louder, which I like. I do like Keiko in the songs as well. And I love the Kajiuran and the ending. I think all of the girls do an excellent job and mesh really well in the song.

Eternal Blue: Hmm, the full version is nice, although some of it seems a bit out of place, like towards the end. It reminds me of to the beginning a bit where it rises at the end. And the instrumentals remind me of savage genius' Forever... Even some of the singing is similar actually. I looove the Kajiuran and the end as well, which the chimes. (since I love bells and chimes so much) :dote: Overall I think this is a good single. (I will scan in the lyrics and pic and upload it soon.)

Here are the scans of the insert thing: :dote:
(Yuki's looking down again lol)

Also I was going to say about EB, it's pretty fast. Even faster than stone cold was. heh

I believe these are the best A-side songs Yuki has made for FJ since their debut as single group :nosebleed: will explain further later :sohappy:

@ Ven please delete the download link or hide it behind an onion.

finally...finally i found a download link for Distance/Eternal Blue.. and the songs are....indescribably.. beautiful T__T

Aaaah! Thank you! Ven :V:

^^ I already agree with you, george :dote: I've been wanting eternal blue for so long, but I didn't expect to be this impressed with Distance as well. I find them both to be distinctive and powerful songs, more so than the previous FJ A-sides.

Thanks for the onions guys, I couldn't wait for mine, eheh

Not impressed at all with Distance. The opening (very beginning till drums segue) was very good despite pinched Wakana, but it went to Manten arrange + Kagayaku composition from there. I won't expound on the subject of the random key changes, or on Keiko's "talking" line in the second verse.

I notice Wakana sounds much more like herself (lol @ my choice of words) in Eternal Blue, likely because it was recorded around a year ago. This is the usual FJ imo, right down to the arrange, but it shows an original that Distance doesn't have. I might have bought this single w/out Distance in it.

Thank you :) Can't wait to listen to both songs :sohappy: Now I have a reason to finally update my Ipod after so long lol.

@Liana_Ilia, did you order from CDJapan? and if so, did you get an external bonus?? :O just wondering... I've been stalking the page every day for them to appear with a "first press bonus" to show up x.x

@Ven do NOT worry about a thing. Do NOT. -_- It's not like you even did anything wrong.

Thank you! :plz:

Finally, Distance and Eternal Blue! :sohappy:

Wonderful works, Yuki! Good job, Fictionjunction!! :cheer:

Although I was really wishing for a Keiko-centric song... ah well :spotlight:

:omg: Now I just realised Keiko had 2 lines in the 2nd verse... Ah well. 2's not enough...

I LOVE the harmonies in eternal blue (they are so many that Im thinking they will have difficulty performing this live.) :nosebleed: :nosebleed: and I wish Keiko had let Yuriko finish her soprano-ing at 2:25, I really wanted to hear it full T_T

As for distance, really like how the strings go at 1:15-1:19, but I dont like how the song turns ballad-ish at 1:24-1:39, this should have stayed upbeat imo. Also I really like Kaori's screams at the end of each refrain, they give a very tragic tone to the song. But the Yuriko chorus sounds too Red Moon-ish too me.

As for the instrumentals, the eternal blue one sounds alot different compared to what was on YouTube (was that a game menu arrange?). I kind of prefer this version but it doesn't have the "unstoppable violin" :(

In general I prefer both songs to Toki no Mukou and Parallel Hearts, but I dont compare them to stone cold since that had different instruments on it. :dote:

@niney: What do you mean by "random key changes" ? grunty had used this expression too, but how could they be non random? :confu:
