Listening to the full Oath Sign now... it's okay, better than the tv size. I don't like the guitar during the song, but the solo is good. The violin is pretty. (not my favorite song by her, but it's all right) As for the ost, hoping for more songs like the bird one.
Just watched it tonight. It was okay. Did Waver just do something useful? lol I love the "now that I've acquired pants" thing from Rider. The red haired girl (forget her name now) is crazy. heh Anyways, how many more episodes before the break?

Well, the episode was simply good. I liked Lancer's part most, and I like the character himself for his loyalty. Heh, also, I didn't think I'd come to sympathize with El-Malloy, but I feel sorry for this man. With his current state, and his wife going active, and Kiritsugu about to strike back... Damn, and of course, this will be a tough time for Lancer.
Btw, is it me, or the evil redhead lady's already hooked by his mole? If I were Lancer, I'd really contact a cosmetic surgeon, honestly.
The atmosphere smells like Saya no Uta every time Caster is mentioned... But thanks to Ei Aoki for sparing us what Rider and Waver had to witness. Btw, Waver gets some bonus points for himself, too.
And what about Irisviel? It seems like Kiritsugu and Saber's goals and values might keep moving further apart, and that will put her at the crossroads. And in the anime, a moral crossroad is often just another deathflag.
Overall, little action, but I don't mind in the least. The show's balance between talk and deed is screaming "a Bee Train series DONE RIGHT". And I bet we're getting a couple of impressive battles by the end of the season, anyway.
Looking forward to ep 10...
EDIT:
I slightly envy people whose brains are capable of coming up with ideas like these and Saber cat's look makes me want to hug her
- piano + oboe relaxing track (new)
- full piano track from 2 eps ago track (from when Lancer and Saber decided to join hand to defeat Caster).
- intro track from ep 1
- soft strings + piano music at the end (new?)
This whole thing reminded me of KnK6 (it's even as much of a filler as the sixth movie was) with that part George mentioned suddenly being something like KnK7.
^ No Fate/Zero is prequel to Fate/Stay Night, which means it has events that happened before Fate/Stay Night, and first episode explains pretty much everything about its universe so you wont have absolutely any problem, but if you watch Fate/Stay Night first you will spoil yourself about events that are going to take place at the end of Fate/Zero (end of spring of next year)

Ironically, Ei Aoki directed neither of them (AFAIK he's only credited for the first movie).
Well, Rin was giving an Azaka-like vibe from the start, and since Azaka was my fave character in KnK... I definitely look forward to watching this episode.
^Yep, Aoki only directed the first one. The sixth one was directed by incompetent, stupid, you name it Takahiro Miura and the last one by awesome] Shinsuke Takizawa.
And you're probably one of the few people I know that likes Azaka. A friend of mine simply detests her (understandable, though).
Oh, I'm used to being in the minority. Especially as of late, when it comes to Sayaka... and seeing as Irisviel is becoming my fave character in Fate/Zero, I really wonder if I may end up being the ONLY fan of hers here.

Fans like me (the few of us) see an adorable and strong character, others see... a hyperactive incestual maniac, I guess? Her being the only KnK character bordering on moe may play its role, too.
