Thanks a lot, Rishi! :sohappy:
This OST is downright epic. :dote: :dote: :dote:
But if the final release of Iris' battle theme is left 1 minute long... :knife:

Rishi, you're always so kind to share precious links :dote:
Thanks a lot!

OH I can hear Kasahara and Tokyo Konsei here :nosebleed:

:sohappy: there is no need to say thanks my dear freinds becoz i love yuki kajiura as much all of you like ...so it feels great when i share something which is connected to Yuki Kajiura

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Guess that nobody commented about but Ep 11 has an awesome Tokyo Konsei-only BGM, with a bit of Kasahara, Rider battle theme it seems, which is so much Hokuto no Ken -kind :nosebleed: :dote:

I started watching it but got interrupted around the time Rider brings some booze. Need to resume tomorrow. :XD:

IMHO the whole OST stands somewhat close to Hokuto no Ken - it's in the same "hero epic" vein overall. :hero: :ayashii:

Well, my name is nobody then XD

^ oh sorry, I didnt noticed :XD:

Anyway the track borrows some lyrics from the music that's on the servants summoning, but it has lots of new too and its so epic :nosebleed:

Seconded. It must be one of the most epic tracks we've heard so far, which, considering the whole OST, is speaking volumes. :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

And Rider is redefining awesome every other episode. :ohoho: Although I feel sorry for Saber - while he has a big point, one couldn't possibly deem her view as completely wrong either. The ideal might lie somewhere inbetween... but who is such a king who would achieve it? :leaf:

The battle scene is the most epic part in the episode, but concerning the rest... I hope Kouichi Mashimo's taking notes here how to create talk-driven episodes. With charismatic enough characters and a good, relevant topic for discussion, it can be done right. :ayashii:

EDIT:

At the Ufotable Cafe realtime screening of Fate/Zero ep11, the staff confirmed that the BD version of ep11 will be a complete and fixed version with over 5 minutes of additional footage which they couldn't fit on the TV broadcast.

Taken from a comment at Animapple-tore. Who, as well as a number of others, seems to be dissatisfied with the quality of the episode. :ayashii:
It seems like they're complaining about the animation, although I can't say I noticed anything bad... :confu: How much animation is needed when the characters sit through the whole episode drinking? :XD:

Finally watched 11. It was okay, a lot of talking again, but good talking. heh Rider is awesome, his Noble Phantasm (which still makes me laugh) was great. The song that played during it: :dote: . I liked it, not as much as the bird summoning though. I think that violin song after it was new as well, but I am not sure.

After listening to the ost rip...I jumped to the anime and finished 8 episodes in one night...:XD:. Rider is the awesome character!!..and I already fell for so many female chars here...:XD:..(but not much for Iris...hmm..am I weird..?) Different from watching Madoka...I'm concentrated on the story more than the songs.. I guess I should gather everyone's comments about the ost and re-watch it scene by scene during my X'mas break to concentrate on the ost...lol.

Dears all.. I felt so bad for the plot developed for Sakura&Kariya.. Coz I was quite confused about how these two families related, I searched google to find more background about these characters and the story revealed in Heaven feel shocked me more than those scenes in the worm room.... :uh..:

Well..I know that I stopped watching animes for a few years when I came to Canada (coz I can't download the ThaiSub from my country download site&watching EngSub is quite time consuming...- -") and in this year, I was back for (in fact, Yuki's ost of) Madoka and now Fate/zero and I feel like OMG..How cruel&violent of Jap. animes in these days...TT..(well.. I don't think that I'm a kind of people watching Le Petit Cosette or Kara no Kyoukai or some more darker animes...(I just guess from their ost..I may be wrong..Orz..)) Maybe it's because all animes I watched this year are Gen Urobuchi's works.... :plot: ..

BTW, besides Sakura's&Kariya's story, at the 8th episode, I'm still fine with all other things happening in the anime...(even that Caster is a bit...-*-...at least they didn't show clearly how he killed those kids..TT..)

P.S. At some point..., I was like 'Yuki San..plz give me some light-hearted anime next season.. :sohappy: ', but...it's surely that we wouldn't have our beloved epic&creepy songs like we have in such animes... so..maybe I should think more before trying Yuki&Gen's collaboration.... :omg:

Hey, but what's with Ilia?
Kiritsugu said she weighs lighter than... his gun? :white:
Or is his gun so heavy? I can't imagine the girl weighing as little as a normal gun, she wouldn't have been able to move the way we saw her do in ep 2 :@_@: I'm rather confused...

I already spoiled myself by searching everything I'm confused...lol. Here is the quote from typemoon-wiki
Though Illya was born through natural means, her body has been heavily modified before and after her birth to maximize the magical circuits in her body, making her the ultimate homunculus and a refined vessel for the Holy Grail. As a result of the modifications to her body, her physical body develops slowly and her father, Emiya Kiritsugu, correctly assesses that her physical body will not develop secondary sexual characteristics. By the time she is eight years old, Kiritsugu notes that even his Thompson Contender is heavier than Illya is. A decade later, when Illya meets Emiya Shirou, she still looks as though she's a young girl rather than a young woman.

Edit: Back home and finish the remaining 3 episodes..

Ep.9
I really agree with you..Nick..that red-haired is so evil..
I guess she already had a crush on Lancer since the first time she appeared..I can't remember the episode..- -". Poor Lancer... A super loyal knight relating to a love affair like Lancer remind me Sayaka more than Waver does...

Ep.10
Rin is a little heroine here.. by the way..
Aoi's reaction when she met the radically-changed Kariya&his explanation about the insect implantation made me suspect that Aoi might not know what would happen to her daughter when she's adopted in Motoh (?) family.... (Try to find a good excuse for her..? XP...I don't like this kind of character... but at least she didn't make sth. worse like Madoka did in some period which annoyed me so much... :uh..: )

Ep.11
Well..those grail talks sounds so interesting. Saber's ideal can be right in some ethical aspect (and the Ideal King in each cultures&periods may have some difference as well..Saber may be an ideal king for England and/or European ancient history, but may be not for other regions or periods of time), but practically, in these days, I guess we prefer Rider's thought. It remind me of a famous quote from Unicef..? (or some organization in that type) stating that if we give poor children a fish, they can survive for one day, but if we teach them to catch fish, they can survive for their whole lives. (I don't know the exactly quote in English, just wrote out the main idea.) It's obvious that Saber is the one who gives her people a fish, while Rider teaches them. (surely..., as a teacher-to-be, I stand on Rider's side. :sparkleguy: )

P.S. At some point..., I was like 'Yuki San..plz give me some light-hearted anime next season..

If Pandora Hearts gets a sequel next year, it will probably be lighter than the stuff Yuki's been writing for recently. :XD: Although if they do it by the usual means they employed two years ago, it will be to my chagrin - like I said, the only thing I OPENLY dislike in Pandora Hearts is numerous out-of-place gags and chibis. :uh..:
Otherwise, I don't know, since the new projects Yuki may get involved in next year are still a mystery. The only known one is the first Madoka movie (unless the release gets delayed over to 2013), but we know better than to expect anything light-hearted from it. :knife: If a miracle occurs, some new Tsubasa adaptation might pop up, but again, it's long past its light-hearted stage.

Then again, Yuki's career indeed seems to lean towards darker and more serious stories most of the time. There are exceptions like Kimagure Orange Road or SSK (not sure, but Taikan and that show she wrote Voyagers for may also count), plus El Cazador, Pandora Hearts and Erementar Gerad, which [supposedly] have serious plots but present them in a less serious package, plus maybe some of her song-only contributions like Narue no Sekai... but still. Then again, it seems logical - while I don't have any base to doubt Yuki would manage an OSt for a romantic slice-of-life anime or even a comedy, the overall charatcer of the music she prefers to write fits more dramatic stories better. :ayashii:

I already spoiled myself by searching everything I'm confused...lol.

Same here, I must admit. :TdT:
And yes, when I peeked at Fate/Stay Night the other day, I noticed Ilya looks pretty... young even for her age. Although I didn't pay it much attention then, since anime these days is massively lolified anyway. :psst:

Speaking of Waver, his semblance to Sayaka has faded in my eyes. Your parallel with Lancer may prove to be more apt in the end... :ayashii:
then again, it's not fair! Kyouko is a Lancer, not Sayaka :ohoho:

but at least she didn't make sth. worse like Madoka did in some period which annoyed me so much...

not sure what you mean, although I suspect it may be either ep 6 or somewhere in the middle of ep 10. :ayashii: :plot:

Concerning Saber... I just think if she really had been a bad king, she wouldn't have become the stuff of legends told about her. :sparkleguy:

But I'm wondering about Archer's last comment. Did he say it because he:
- wanted to mock Saber
- disagreed with Rider more than with her
- disagreed with her completely but took some amused interest in her views? :confu:

...Uh?
I do not have that much knowledge about King Arthur, but what I know is that his history is shrouded in mystery. Not only that, but Saber is another perspective of Arthur, thus, are you really trying to take it seriously?

Anyway, my dislike for Saber only grew. She seems more like a little girl that had to take over her kingdom, rather than a king. A king that sacrifices himself for his kingdom? Bah.

I think she doesn't seem more to be, but IS one. :ayashii: As much as I feel for her, Rider's words did contain a lot of food for thought for her... not so tasty food, either.
But I'm curious what she will conclude for herself from this conversation. :ayashii:
Sigh, the more I watch this, the more I'm tempted to watch Fate/Stay Night... then I check out Fate/Stay Night ep 1 and somehow don't find myself hooked that much... :waa: Why is that so? :leaf:

^Because F S/N was bad. And sleepy. And after episode 14 became "droppable".

I mean her (in)famous throwing your friend's soul to a truck.. :psst:, and how she keeps going with Sayaka during the witch hunts (with a good intention, but it's a kind of another burden for poor Sayaka...)

Nick Hunter said:

Umm..I think she is praised for her chivalry&morality. Any hero can be praised because their bravery, their goodness, etc, even he or she lost or died in the fight. Many of them are praised as a warrior, but not as a king. Like Rider pointed out, her ideal can save her people only once, but what would happen after the king's gone..? It'd be fine if Arthur is undefeatable and immortal and can protect her powerless people for ever and ever, but in practice, she can't.

I don't think she's a bad king as well, but it's a kind of 'If I could choose a king or were a king, I would follow King Iskandar way, not King Arthur' :). However.., like KP-X said, it's just another perspective of legendary King Arthur...don't take it too serious..XP.

I choose the last one.... :XD: ...His conversation when he came to Kirei's house guides that he likes someone 'interesting'. Well..I don't think he's interested Saber as a king, but as a human with interesting personality instead... :plot: .

I think that the concept of 'sacrifices himself for his kingdom' is closer to a knight more than a king. (That may be the reason why she's named 'the king of knight'? :ayashii: ) In some aspect, I feel that it's a kind of narcism...believing that only my sacrification can save the country... I think that Rider speech will make her think more about this...

I think they may wrap it up somehow. For instance, by ending one stage of the Grail War... read: eliminating one participant for real. Is it alright for me to want this participant to be Uryu and his non-existent-blue-beard friend? :knife:
