Nah, as far as Iri is concerned, people are fond of her (well, for now at least).

Exactly, she's moe where she shouldn't be.
And where she wasn't until ufotable decided they had to screw the story of the sixth chapter up. lol

Exactly, she's moe where she shouldn't be.

In a movie like KnK, WHERE one POSSIBLY should be moe is a big question. :ohoho:

So Oblivion Recorder is different from the book? :confu: Its mood is indeed lighter than in all the other chapters. Although I didn't mind. :dote: and it's this merry mood that gave context for Yuki to write one of the best tracks in the whole KnK OSTs :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

Uh, would you please enlight me as to what you actually meant? Because I'm lost.

Of course the chapter is different. They decided to make Azaka the main character, whereas in the freaking novel she shared the spotlight with perfect, super amazing Shiki. And it was way more interesting. Everything (the story, the villain, uh, everything). They made it seem like a damn filler and it felt disconnected, failing to be a a bridge between the fifth and seventh movie. Nah, ufotable messed up big time in that movie.

Sorry if I overworded it, but I'm just saying that KnK is really grim. Azaka kinda feels out of place here, and I've always assumed that was the main problem people had with her.

Maybe I should read the sixth book. :ayashii: although I struggled a number of yawns while reading the first one, and never moved further than that... :spotlight:

Oh, that. Well, yes, that's why most people don't like her. And because she was mostly useless for the plot, had a platonic love just for the lolz/otakuharem fetish and was completely generic LOL I like her though, she has the guts to make a Shiki (plush?) and burn it to ashes. Not only that, but she even has the audacity to threaten almighty Shiki to death. Does she even know the danger she is in? LOL

^ I think she's aware of Shiki's capability (they both work for Touko, after all). She's rather bold. :ohoho: :dote:

But I agree that her obsession with Kokuto looks odd in terms of plot driving. Maybe if she was fleshed out more in the other chapters, it would hold a bigger value... or maybe I'm just making up excuses for wanting more Azaka. :XD:

EDIT:

Huh, after George's words I actually expected a lighter-mood filler. Not that KnK6 was all fluffy, but it was a change of mood for certain. But here, one apparently can't hope for such changes with Gen Urobuchi. :ohoho:
Well, it touches upon Rin's build-up to the character she'll be in Fate/Stay Night, gives Ryuunosuke a heavy boot for once... and raises all the death flags for Rin's father and Kariya. But I guess it's the plot requirement rather than an urobuchi-ism. :leaf:

Rin's daily life theme was very cute. The clearer version of the upbeat piano track is great (and IMHO it fits Rin better than Lancer or Saber). :sohappy:

Even if 10 was kind of a filler, I thought it was pretty good. I love that piano song! I thought it fit more in this episode. I liked the softer songs too. :dote: Can't wait till the next episode.

I know that aside from the series director, there's usually a bunch of people who direct the episodes, but doesn't he control the process anyway? :confu:

EDIT: Just noticed that there seem to be two CDs in the box. :ayashii: Are they both the OST ones? Then we at least can be sure to get about 95% of music, like with KnK and Madoka. :sohappy:

特典CD1「Fate/Zero Original Soundtracks Vol.1」(音楽:梶浦由記)
特典CD2「オリジナルドラマCD

So the second CD is a dorama CD, but the first CD is "OST 1" so that means there must be OST 2 in the future! Just not in your $500 bundle :uh..:

^ Yes the 2nd OST will probably come with the 2nd half that will air in spring, where the 2nd OST BGM will be probably used.

Just not in your $500 bundle

Just in another $500 bundle.
From Sony with love. :groucho:

They may have whatever reasons to follow by bundling the OST, but not at least releasing the majority of the music like previous times will erase any reason to justify it in the eyes of buyers. And if they go like, "don' like the price, don't buy"... It smells like PS3, with similar consequences. :plot:

Of course, there's a chance that the said majority of the music may fit in one CD. I've just put all three Madoka OSTs into Winamp and it counts the total duration of 1:27:17 (and with shaking off non-Yuki tracks it's cut down to 1:14:42). So... :ayashii:
sure, I'm trying to ignore the odds that it will also mean mostly unextended versions up to 2 minutes in length, just like in Madoka

^Noo! I'm hoping still that they will release the soundtracks separate. But I know I am hoping for a lot.

This anime should be named Rider (Iskandar) The Great.
He is just too manly and awesome! EPIC!

Irisviel and Rider are the two people running this show as far as I'm concerned. :sohappy: :ohoho:
I'll only get to see the episode tomorrow, though. :tea:

I do like Iri, but she's just no match for Rider. While I would classify her as a lovely character (but nothing more than that), I describe Rider as awesome, epic and amazing. He's way above average while I consider Iri slightly above average.

Oh, but I'm far from intending to compare them. :XD: It's just that I find myself watching the series mostly for these two characters. Not that I dislike others (except maybe Ryunosuke who's a bit boring to me - so far he pathetically loses to Caster as an antagonist and he certainly doesn't pass for a protagonist one might like), but these two I'm always looking forward to seeing. :sohappy:

Okay, so I finally watched the WHOLE episode. Man, Rider nearly humiliated Saber with his words. And, may I be honest? He's completely right. I think I can finally feel satisfied regarding Saber's naivety, now someone has at least said the truth. And his Noble Phantasm was amazing as well. Man, he is so awesome!!!!

Anyway, I may be wrong, but I think there was a new Kajiurago song...or maybe it was just the full version of the one from episode 4 (or was it 5? whatever), when Rider interrupts Saber and Lancer's fight.
