I love when ufotable uses the blue color :idol:
I'm very surprised. Yuki only used Eri's voice for a scat in the BGM trailer and for the first BGM played at the begining of the 1st episode (and just 4 or 5 words, like a vocal introduction for an instrumental, something rare in Yuki). Then Yuri+Tokyo Konsei, Tokyo Konsei solos, Hanae+Tokyo Konsei, Hanae and the vocals for the trailer music (a lot of layers by I-don't-know-who).

In terms of career, 2011 has definitely been THE year for Yuki. :sohappy:
Perhaps, at the moment. And it scares me...

Oh that's what you meant, I thought that you were stayng that she might release something that's not good in that 1 month and 11 days and trurn Nick's THE year into small the :XD:
Then I agree with what you say :XD:

Damn, don't tell me I've mistaken her for Wakana again. :desksweat:

and the vocals for the trailer music (a lot of layers by I-don't-know-who).

TBH, I deemed them to be FJ (Yuki said she was recoreding a dark song with five vocals, and then the trailer appeared). :XD: Although the chorus in the sequence with "flying BBQs" (sorry, but it's what those things look like to me :XD: ) interlaced with character glimpses could as well be Tokyo Konsei, I'm not sure here.

^ Why at the moment? The year ends in a month and 11 days

Yes, and even if Yuki starts working on something else, it will likely not be finished (let alone released) before Christmas.
So in my eyes it's three epic OSTs, two great albums and a couple of delicious new songs from FictionJunction. And don't forget Taikan theme (or maybe even two of them) we've yet to hear a single note from! :wai:

Compared to relative calm of 2010 (relative by Yuki's usual pace, although one album, one OST and one single, even not mentioning two compilations you may not have to compose for but have to supervise, doesn't sound like little work either :hero: ), it's quite a rollercoaster. :sohappy: :cheer:

I had the same interpretation. :XD: Sure, on January 1 we'll have a conclusive reason to thank Yuki for the passed year of wonderful music.
and since it's been a grim year for Japan, might as well thank God or whoever else we believe in that she's still with us and in good health and spirits :leaf: :touched:

Not FJ since they are not signed with Sony unless she uses them as standalone, lets say Wakana Keiko from Kalafina, Yuriko and Kaori for the OST and Eri or Hanae, in any case the booklet isnt going to write FictionJunction. IMO its only one person because like that I hear it, probably Eri in multiple layers, like in the old glorious Tsubasa days. :shy:

Well yeah, that's what I meant. :XD:

You mean, like in Sacrifice? Hmm, makes sense. :ayashii:
It's no secret that for someone who likes Eri/Yuki collabs so much, I'm amazingly lame at identifying them... :spotlight:

Btw, checking the news page, I've noticed something which was mentioned while I was apparently living under a rock:

Additionally, the October issue of LisAni! magazine features an interview with Yuki Kajiura x Gen Urobuchi, on the topic of their collaboration for the Fate/Zero soundtrack. The magazine can be purchased at CDJapan for those who are interested. 5 copies remain as of this posting!

Wow. I knew Urobuchi is somewhat of a fan (he was the one who asked for Yuki's participation in Madoka, too), but them actually collaborating? That should be one priceless interview. :stars:

No, like ship of fools because both sacrifice and moebius (which I was was going to suggest are Tokyo Konsei :desksweat: :XD: just checked the booklets)

(Was the opera-like song new as well? I had never heard it before... if so it was awesome as well)

It depnds on whicho ne you refer to, if you refer to the one that was playted at the begging during the fight between Kuritsugu and Lancer's master no because it wasp layed in the last episode as well and in the 5th episoode too. If you refer to the song that was when Lancer and Saber defeated Caster, it wasnt too :XD: because it was played in the first episode when the masters summoned their servants.

It was the one during Kuritsugu and Lancer I do believe. I may watch this episode again for all the great songs. heh But yeah now I think I do remember that one in the 5th episode. :dote:

Well, the first part ends in a month, so you will benefit from watching it all later if you want to. :sparkleguy:
Yes, I'm planning to watch it full blast, you know what I mean? The OSTs are also some of the things that I'm exciting about, since I read in the previous posts here that a lot of new OSTs/BGM already played on the series.

You are?Really? hehe

Checked out the OP single today. Oath Sign is nice, but I liked Confidence Driver more. :XD:

And wait a second, 4 TRACK SINGLE? THREE SONGS + a TV version? In a SME single? :white:
So you're alright doing it with LiSA, Sony... but not with Kalafina? :knife: :knife: :knife:

I like Oath sing more out of the 3 but I dont like enough none of them if you get what I mean.

about your question, they did it with oblivious, Mizuki Nana and Yukari Tamura do this too sometimes, but they get various people to work on their songs while Yuki does it all herself, I guess that 3 song per single is too much for Yuki, personally I prefer quality over quantity :XD:

But it mustn't necessarily be 4 original songs. Including instrumentals for BOTH sides, like in FJ singles, would already be nice.

Well, I have to see the credits because the moving era has similar choirs but only 1 vocalist (excluding Kasahara). :knife:

Yep, yep. It's Yuki's decision. Personally, I prefer 2 songs + 2 instrumentals. And they never give me the full ARIA instrumental, I'll never forgive them  Btw, Avex Trax includes 3 songs + 3 instrumentals: Avex wins, lol.
